Been here a few times and it is okay for a night or two

The giant TV, the same with the bed, was on the floor more times during the night.

Too expensive for its category .. room in the basement with windows under the street .... just a girl at reception .. unprofessional

Quite ok place. Parking is available adjacent to the hotel. Close to the city center.

Quite ok, good beds, nice and clean, but somewhat older bathroom (these are upgraded these days).

Ok a little bit expensive compared to what you get. Boring breakfast buffet

It was good enough nice atmosphere but nothing special.

The hotel has definitely passed its heyday.

The rooms are clean and fresh.
Corridors and other spaces are mostly in need of renovation.
The breakfast buffet is ok but wins absolutely no prices.

The staff is really nice.
The front terrace is nice to catch up on.
Several restaurants are within 100m and even more within 500m.
The car park is free between 18-09 ... and there are plenty of parking nearby.
However, it is maximum 2-4h parking other time, so it is not possible to have the car parked near daytime.

Had the privilege of spending 2 days at Hotel Alfred Nobel. Very nice staff, perfectly ok standard. Centrally located within walking distance to what is on offer in the city.

The beds are very soft and the upper mattress "slides" off the bed when moving, then the pillows are not really to my liking. But guess this is more of a problem from person to person. The breakfast is well over approved, a little small selection but t "he basics are there"

Decent rooms, but the toilet would need a little love.

It is a simple standard hotel. Clean rooms with a Nordic touch to it. It is comparable to Scandic hotels.

Old bathroom with smell of mold, hair in the drain and on the toilet. Large room but not recommended on hot days when we arrived at 18:30 it was 31 degrees inside the room. There was also a lot of dust and debris on the floor. Very expensive compared to what you get.

My room kept a good standard and felt fresh. Right listening. Cleaning ok except in the bathroom. The minus is that there was only soap in the shower. So don't forget to bring shampoo. The breakfast did not offer much variety. However, the scrambled egg was very good! Friendly staff.

Nice bed and furniture, but the bathroom is 30 years old and barely maintained. The shower door is loose, so the shower curtain is fitted as well. Shower head is cracked. Hair in lures and pubic hair on the toilet bowl. Silicone is moldy but could easily be replaced. Sad to see someone driving hotels this way. Hope they take hold of the problems.

Okay breakfast, just meets my minimum standard what should be included in a hotel breakfast.
The room was good, nothing strange, a bit far from the restaurant, but close to breakfast, probably close to breakfast then.
The restaurant was good, ate here twice, great food and friendly staff.
Definitely the best hotel in town, would recommend it for anyone staying overnight in Karlskoga, however nothing that stands out from the crowd and the breakfast could have contained a little more.

Excellent choice in the heart of Karlskoga, close to lots of interesting things to do. Next to the open square.

Quite ok for a city like Karlskoga, central, good breakfast and good rooms. Apparently, their best years were in the 80s-90s. Beds, on the other hand, must absolutely be replaced, at least mattresses, they are made of very low quality, mattresses slide to the sides, they are very soft and it feels like you wake up with back pain.

It's expensive as i think one single room for around $ 130 A roomy hotel for about $ 130

Good room, some soft bed for me but nice sheets. Just large bathroom and good shower. TV with good sound, not as dirty as it can be sometimes. Breakfast in airy environment with what you need. Plus for rhubarb pie with custard for coffee. Good bacon, but unfortunately no scrambled eggs, just the kind of "omelette" that you get sometimes, not good.

Really nice good room. Clean and fresh. Nice staff with good reception. The breakfast I lacked fresh fruit on.

Meets the need for hotels. Okay at most. A little worn and boring. No parking belonging to the hotel.

Rooms are very nice and getting better with ongoing renovation. Service is great.

Friendly welcome. Rooms are given from 15 hours. Depending on the room you are on the road side with cars passing and that we hear closed window

Charming and classic hotel. Managed to dot red day and got to enjoy various raggar cars in a long line.

Great staff and helpful. Good room and ok beds. But they need to improve on the anvil during all the criticisms. The food looked a silverfish on the toilet. We left a message that we wanted to clean. But all hair / dust and paper remained on the floor ..

For att 3 star hotel it was pretty good. Nice breakfast. Rooms were ok.

Good location, courtesy and cleanliness. Rooms a bit small and services to be encouraged.

Beds are narrow with triple / uncomfortable mattresses, which were able to get out of bed at night and disrupt all night peace. TV programs, like the ones in Sweden, have nothing to watch at all, either sports or Swedish news, but it's a normal provincial hotel where you can quietly quit.

Its all about the experience here its a nice cosy place. Karlskoga reflects Alfred Nobel history and this hotel is a landmark

Stayed two nights. Fresh and good room, a little weird shower that refused to get stuck in the stand. The breakfast was clearly approved, but not impressive either. A little tired wifi.

We ate Christmas dinner here, Nice Christmas table with what should be on a Christmas table. Especially liked the lime sauce and the meatballs.

Peaceful and central. Room entrance not the best , but actual rooms are nice.

Excellent food, calm atmosphere and very classy building and rooms.

Nice personnel and ok rooms. Good over night place and great sports bar at ground level. Could be nicer rooms.
