Alexandria City Police Review

I just want to thank you guys so much for your service today, beyond bless to have regained my son in a healthy condition

I had the most scariest encounter with Sgt Charles Seckler at a traffic stop. This guy was enraged with pure evil. I saw nothing but the devil in his eyes as he yelled and screamed at another vehicle and then myself. This was nothing than harassment and a stop based off him being a racist. This needs to stop! He makes good police officers look horrible. This racial profiling and harassment towards African Americans is happening all to frequent and it will not stop until the department steps up and strip them of their badges for abuse of their powers. This is the first time I ever had an encounter with an officer and I feared for my life and that I may not make it home to my family. This is not only pathetic but sad that we have to constantly feel this way when approached by an officer such as this one!

Worst Police Experience!!!!! Had an accident at Mount Vernon High school. Some backed In to my car. I called the police they said just exchange information and they hung up. Officer Jones (An officer At mount Vernon) helped us later on!!

Weak customers service.. I waited for hour to meet an officer to file a report for a car accident, but no one appeared unfortunately it s very bad service.

I found a lost wallet and phone and walked in to drop them off at the police station, the security on the couner said they cant take them and there is no officer available to take them and they looked lost they dont know what to do! Anyway I left and did there job for them by searching for the owner on Facebook and gived him his lost property back.

Dedicated professionals. Many volunteer their free time for community activities. Thank you for your service.

I've been trying to get through to a specific officer and haven't been able to reach them disspite having called more than a dozen times in the course of a few months. The treatment I've received is extremely unprofessional. I'm %100 in support of law enforcement but when I'm being thrown on the back burner time and time again it becomes rude and unacceptable.

I called the Alexandria Police to check on my mother. I waited for an hour and still no response. Called them back and was told ' We are waiting for a officer to become free". That was the most BS I ever heard. They aren't worried about people unless it's a crime and they wonder why people don't trust or believe in them.

I called the Alexandria police because I was hit in a car accident, this was my first car accident and I am not from the area. The person who answers the phone was so rude to me and eventually put me on hold and transferred me to someone else. Very disappointed in her attitude for no reason.

In my opinion the Alexandria Police Department are only interested in writing traffic tickets and parking tickets nothing else. They are not very good at anything else. Remember writing tickets is another form of taxation.

Unprofessional, I waited there long time with no one to help!

A huge shout out to Officer Christopher Stanton and his partner for installing two child safety seats in my daughter s and son in law s cars today. Excellent job in making sure the seats were installed securely and proper. I especially want to give praise to Deputy Chief Chris Wemple for arranging for this install. I met Chris 7 years ago at the FBI National Academy and have been colleagues and friends since. Chris is one of the finest Command Staff Officers I have ever met in my 37 year career and the City is lucky to have him leading You Officers in the Deparment.

I give them 3 stars because a few days ago I called because my neighbor plays very loudly, the attention was immediate and I did not complain but the police told me that I could not do anything for my neighbor's music and I already have 2 weeks with the problem of music

Very poor service! Staff can barely talk and understand plain English. They don't have qualified personnel perhaps because nepotism is the hiring practice. I wish they change the leadership. The most unpleasant experience ever!

What can I say ? Was not suprised it doesn t even matter I blame myself for living in Virginia what do you honestly expect ? Just fot a simple traffic violation encounter that was a 100% accident and literally called 2 MORE OFFICERS

The Alexandra police are good and effective each time people have called. They a friendly and get the job done correctly.

Very unprofessional, they are ill equipped and rejects from other departments. I am shocked about how they perform. Dont call them figure it out.

I called APD 911, from Texas, to do a welfare check on a family member. Tina with 911 was very polite and professional. My family member was with the police officers within about 10 minutes of my call to them. Officer Compton then followed up with me after my family member was at an ER. Officer Compton was very polite and professional as well. I had complete belief that my family member was a top priority. Even as I spoke with Tina with 911, she told me that officers were en route to my family member's residence. I am so happy with the services and the response times of APD. I wish to send a big thank you to all involved in this matter. I could not have asked for better service!
