Amazing interior designers and love their art and frame work

I've worked with Alexander James on a number of projects and every time they've been really easy to work with and the service has been great. Would definitely recommend them.

I have asked AJI to entirely decorate my 4 bedroom flat , they did an amazing job.
They are very professional, talented and knew right away what to do They suggest me several interior design that were all very nice and fine It has been a real delight to work with them and they made it so easy and fun.
I can never thank them enough for this stunning interior design. Many Thanks to all AJI staff and interior designer and keep up

We commissioned Alexander James Interiors to deliver a cohesive interior design for six rooms in our house. The work included architectural changes and the delivery of a wide range of soft furnishings and furniture, including a number of bespoke pieces.

The creative team are truly inspirational, pragmatic and problem solvers.

We formed a great working relationship with the team. I am thrilled with the end result and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alexander James Interiors in the future.

Avoid this company!!

Sadly, I have had a terrible experience dealing with Alexander James Interiors.
We have had endless problems; sofas turning up completely wrong, 2/3 blinds were too short, staff were overheard talking about lying to the customer about things that had been broken, damage to chairs and wallpaper and then being personally blamed !
Our curtains were measured incorrectly and then they tried to charge us for the additional fabric and pole. Both came back marked from the alterations ! The curtains are also pulled at the pleats but apparently this is an acceptable standard !! "Look at all of our show homes" !! Taking all of the above into account (fabric marks , pole damage and the fabric running at the pleats), they have only offered to give me 25% off of the curtains rather than replace !! This seems to be their way out of everything ! (Other examples available if this helps anyone).
We were basically called liars when some wallpaper had been damaged on installation in our master bedroom and then they wanted to charge me to fix. No one had been in our bedroom ....even the builders were locked out !
2 / 8 bespoke dining chairs had marks/ damage to the fabric - I was told "You'd keep them if they were free though wouldn't you" by a senior member of staff after he came in my house and didn't even acknowledge me!! This same person also told me that the furniture wasn't all mine yet as the 10% on completion invoice had not been paid (who pays when there are outstanding items not even delivered yet!!? I still have not paid FYI and will not until the job is finished!). Apparently the deficit on his spread sheets are down to me !! FABULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE DON'T YOU THINK!!!??? What a joke he is / they are.
It seems that, as the errors have built up and I have stood my ground with them, the more they have stepped back from the relationship and the less they have wanted to help.
I have so many more details I can share (a few good but majority are bad) but quite frankly I have wasted far too much time on this company already ! (That includes waiting in for appointments that they don't turn up for).
This install started back in November '17. I still have one blind that is not correct and I literally feel as if no one cares at all ..I've not even received an email or call to discuss the matter nearly 2 weeks on.
Honestly, I take no pleasure at all in warning others off this company. We were not a huge job to them but certainly a lot more than your average Jo I would have thought, but quite frankly, the way I have been treated, I would have been better off sourcing some of these items myself on the high street. Next or John Lewis would have provided better and certainly a more personal and comprehensive customer service experience. Very sad way to end what started as a lovely lovely experience.

I was delighted with the personal and highly professional service I received from everyone at Alexander James Interiors. The creativity and knowledge of the designers was outstanding and I formed a great working relationship with the team. I am thrilled with the end result and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alexander James Interiors in the future.

We worked with AJI to fully design, source and install furniture in all rooms in a newly built 5 bedroom house, which we were moving into in July 2017.

We were very impressed with the designer Stephanie Cole, who worked with my wife through ideas, design mood boards and budget/quote. We agreed designs that met our budget financials.

Once product was ordered it was collated in AJI s warehouse, and the install team delivered and placed all items in position on one day, ready for us to move in to a completely furnished house.

Subsequently in February 2021, we ordered window shutters through AJI, which are now installed.

Note when you receive your quote for planned product or services, there is no negotiation, so you have to be comfortable with the value of the service you are receiving.

We would highly recommend.

I have used AJI services for 5 large houses on the Wentworth Estate where they have provided a full package of Architectural & Interior design services.
The buyers of all the properties decided they wanted to buy all the furniture & furnishings supplied by AJI, down to all the small accessories (that make a big difference)
I have recommended AJI to several friends who have all used AJI and we have all been delighted with the services & products supplied
