Great beer, amazing music. However, selling okay-ish plastic wrapped pretzels for $5 as part of covid regulations is a bit much when I m not even hungry. There are many other places that sell $1 chips or just add a 10c surcharge on their bill, there s no reason Alewife can t do this as well
Great brews. Nice location in Sunnyside.. good ambience and pet friendly. Nice place to get a few beers outside on a warm (or not so warm) sunny day day.
Great experience. Enjoyed a triple IPA and a sessions. I don t usually have two beers but I enjoyed the first so I tried a second. I told woman I would be back again would take some to go bring my growler
Great spot, can't wait to come back and sample more of their beers. Was pleasantly surprised to see it's a Mets bar too!
It s a nice place to chill and crab a drink. The beer choices are variety, I had Chaos(sour beer) and my husband had stout. Plenty of outdoor seating with heater(FCFS), the staffs are friendly. We came around 2pm on Saturday afternoon on a very good weather day, it got a little crowded. FYI-dog friendly here!
A large taproom attached to their new brewery is finally open, after many years of operating as a brewpub in LIC. They currently only have a few beers on draft plus small can selection to stay. All cans are also available in 4-packs to go. The outdoor setup includes socially distanced high top tables for smaller groups as well as individual pods with long tables for bigger parties.
Tons of sidewalk space, I wish they had 2 lines for ordering, it takes forever.
While they gave me a "Thousand Stars" (German style pilsner) I can only give them a maximum of 5 stars. The Garlic Parsley pretzel matched well with the beer.
While they currently do not fill crowlers & growlers they do offer 4-pack cans.
