My boys go to Alec Reed Academy and I can only say positive words about the school, facilities, love the fact it is quite a new school with fantastic design. Especially The ARC building is so unique and cosy for little ones to have a start of a long school journey. What makes this school more special than others ARE PEOPLE WORKING HERE such Teachers, TA's, security guys at the gates, lunch ladies etc... . Always kind, polite ready to help and assist. I can't praise enough Primary teacher Mrs. PAULA YOUNG - she is truly one-of-a-kind! So passionate at what she does. Kids loves her as she is so natural at what she does with her open, big heart, professional manner.I am very Happy I have chosen this school for my boys since not only academic part is important but to me mostly is the people and atmosphere what makes the difference and shapes little hearts from the start!

The school is so trash I m disgusted, the staff members are so rude and careless they never want their students to do well. It s embarrassing and they should be ashamed

I have known some very exceptional students having being educated here. But it is fair to say that having read all 57 reviews before me writing this one that not one school is perfect and it's easy to blame blame on the facility and teaching methods, yet how committed is the pupil? Home life aswell as teaching environments has to work together at tandem for the benefit of the students. Honestly I've seen this school produce some exceptional talent!

trash school, was ill advised to send my child. I regret the decision I have made and will live to rue the day.

Many years ago I use to go to this school but I believe it was called Walford Secondary Modern School. I enjoyed it and often wonder what everyone is doing now.

Me and my friends rent the sports hall to play football after school hours, there facilities are top of the range and they also have some nice outdoors pitches, 5 aside AstroTurf plus an 11 a side grass pitch

It has alot of facilities and we all get to know lot of people who are not as fortune as us like the people in JC school and we all come together as one!

i am writing this as a student of this atrocious school and hopefully i will get to write former soon. this school isn't even worth contemplating sending your children here most of the students are bullies and teachers are heavily biased and give up on students who deem as unworthy of an education as they will lower any grade you get that is positive and even if the teachers don't do this to you its impossible to learn anything due to the neanderthal-like students who more concerned about the nearby McDonalds than school. im only making it two stars because there are some good people there and they deserve more than to be stuck in this school until they go to collage

My children start in this school from nursery
Until year two.We are very happy with my children and school staff because my kids have high level in his age then other school children.

Such an amazing and fun school. I was sad i had to leave for a trashy school like queens mead. SADIA

Studied here before the name changed but it still still good school as i hear now.
