very nice rooms, prefect service, a little too much the price

Beautiful 5-star hotel with a warm Christmas atmosphere. Very friendly and professional staff. Large rooms and garden with a bar and a wonderful pool.

Great area, welcoming and very friendly people all around. Don't miss to have a cocktail at the bar. They DO like what they do and it shows everywhere.

Wonderful room and fantastic service. This 5 star hotel is no joke. If you want to be treated well while listening to lions roaring outside of your window (no, seriously...f-ing lions at the zoo across the street) this is the place to be. We spent our last week of our honeymoon here and it was easily the best service of all of our great hotels across Europe. I would recommend to anyone.

Lovely location, friendly, helpful and efficient staff

We stayed there for a weekend, the service was really nice.
The fact that they provide free bikes is actually pretty awesome to visit the city and come back to the hotel which is a bit far from the city center.

Services for disabled people a little lacking But the structure is undoubtedly beautiful

Hotel, spa and staff lovely. Only things to improve are WiFi in the rooms (ours was so slow it didn't work), and the heating is too high. Room often 26 degs and the only way to cool down is to open window on to noisy road (we'd turned off the radiator in the room but everywhere still very hot and stuffy).

Was there attending a wedding. The grounds are beautiful and I really enjoyed the attention to detail. The stuff was amazing and very helpful.

Elegant hotel, located close to Villa Borghese, offers conference rooms

The room is okay, not particularly upscale or fancy by my book. Have not used the amenities yet. The hotel is a little distance away from everything, so you'll need taxis or a private car.

Nice hotel with time-honored charm, safe parking and pool in the countryside (summer only), location about 2 KM from the center but just so nice places (about 400 meters away) not overrun by tourists. Hotel offers free shuttle to Spanish Steps. Tram stops at the door. A second exit and entry for the shuttle on the other side of the city center would be desirable. For dog owners to recommend. Reception does a great job. Gladly again....

It was a nice hotel, and a professional approach, from the doorman, who followed us down to the garden where we were going to eat. However, our visit seemed a little aparte we couldn't withdraw cash at the front desk - because we were not staying at the hotel. The food was gin, somewhat satisfying to me that you do not touch your mayonnaise and ketchup srlv, but import from France.

Lovely old school hotel with great rooms and wonderful service, unfortunately I believe they are closing soon for a big refurbishment . Hopefully it won't be spoilt.

Excellent service that lives up to what you would expect from a real grand hotel. When I was hit outside the hotel - at the Via Appia - when parking the disc, the two concierges settled for me so everything that I had to worry about anything, they organized a familiar garage, which ordered the new disc, the next Day was there, I just had to leave a car registration and keys at the front desk and the car was picked up right away and brought to me the next day and it all belonged to the concierge's service. Also, the possibilities to get to the city center, also for our two children (13 and 16 years) was optimal by the hourly free shuttle, also hold several trams directly outside the door and for a trip to the park of Villa Borghese or the Spanish Stairs (or the subway station, where you come to the square via escalators) are free bicycles available. The pool is lovely and the spa is also excellent.

High-class hotel, not surprisingly, 5-star luxury with an excellent view of the park of Villa Borghese, in a good location, even if slightly out of the way from the historical center and from all the services being positioned in a residential area

Great hotel with exceptional service. Rooms not very spacious but with every service imaginable, one feels pampered to the fullest. The location is not ideal for visiting the city but for those who can afford this type of hotel it should not be a problem to take a taxi

Maximum courtesy, availability and accuracy in the smallest details

It is a very attractive, classic hotel with beautiful history. The staff and the classic style made the stay even more pleasurable. They have Residence next door, with concierge too. It is a perfect residence when you need to stay longer or work here temporarily. I love the Aldrovandi Hotel, a calm and perfect home. I like the fact that it is not in the town center, I walk 25 mins thru Borghese villa to the Spanish steps, or 7 mins to a mega luxurious gym called Heaven Borghese. The hotel has its gym, a fantastic pool-side oasis restaurant that I love to hangout to work on my computer; and a professional spa using the famous R. Biologique products. Just a few mins walk to the east, you will find those lovely restaurants in Parioli. The birds will wake you up every morning.
