Beautiful place, very well-maintained. We came in May 2018 hoping for a gorgeous day. Prepare yourself for a crowded park full of fellow tourists. The entrance fee was about 19 per adult. It was a rainy day, and it's an open park with just a few buildings to explore inside. Those were especially packed-in due to the rain. Can't blame Kuekenhof for the weather.

We were a bit bummed that we couldn't walk out into the tulip fields. Each way we tried to go, we were blocked by a small canal (presumably irrigation). Also, the nearest field was shorn so the tulips were a bit far away, thus the view from the windmill platform could've been better.

All things considered - it was a beautiful place but I doubt we'd visit again.

Nothing express how amazed I were from this garden. It takes place from March till the half of May. It's a paradise of flowers. Reachable with a bus organized by the festival. It's recommended to buy the combined ticket. Visit it on April or May.

Very nice tulip garden. You take a bus tour trip through viator and it takes about one hour to get there from Amsterdam. In first week of April many tulips did not open yet but nonetheless you can still spend easily couple of hours wondering gardens, fountains, mini lake, pavilions, etc.
Lots of restrooms and food places is definitely a plus.
This is a must trip when in Netherland.

This was amazing and beautiful. If you are visiting the Netherlands during the two months of tulip season, this should be a must on your visit list. Great food on location. Easy walking. Plan to spend at least two hours walking around.

Beautiful but can be very busy, so get there early and try and do the 'main bits before everyone turns up. Depending on how quick/ slow you want to walk around I'd give yourself about 3 hours to walk around.

Never seen so many beautiful flowers in one place together. You can spend a whole day walking around There are places to eat and have coffee evenly spread out over the park. So you are never more than 10 min. away from a restroom and a place to take a break.

It's all about timing your visit. You early and all the flowers won't be in bloom. Too late and a bunch will have been already trimmed in prep for the offseason. All in all its a great place to visit and to take visitors. Be aware though it is a tourist trap and gets very busy. Get there early and get out before the crowds.

It s such a heavenly place and a must see whenever it s open to the public which is quite a narrow period of time only. Check the dates of when you can visit and you ll surely enjoy the long walks throughout the park decked with lovely tulips and other flowers. There s a souvenir shop inside as well as cafe/restaurant and fares are priced quite affordably. We did the free and easy tour, ordered the tickets online and took the bus from Grand Central and it only cost us 38, 28 for the tickets and 10 for the two-way bus rides to and from Amsterdam Central station.

Fantastic landscaped gardens covering 32 hectares. Not just Tulips - although that is most definitely the main focus - the gardens range from Japanese style woodland plots and modern and art influenced installations, to classic formal and park garden styles with a huge decorative lake in the middle. A great visit, but best to turn up early even late into the season.

More than 7 million flowers in one place! Come on, it's great, even for a guy like me. Parking is 6 EUR, entry is 17 EUR PP, on the website (8 EUR for kids). If you're allergic to flowers, this place is simply not for you ;)

Beautiful sprawling garden of blooming tulips and other bulb flowers. Barest minimum: half a day of relaxed strolls. Don't bother with the boat ride -- it can be pretty cold and the tulip fields get awfully boring after a while. A bike ride would probably be more fun!

Stunning collection of the most exotic and carefully manicured tulip gardens on earth. If you love tulips, I'm not sure there is anywhere better. But the crowds during high season can be crushing and ruin the experience. Go as early as possible and/or on a weekday if you can. Be sure to check out the surrounding countryside for some spectacular views too.

Really worth visiting if you love flowers. We went as early as we could and enjoyed the gardens before it was pure madness being overrun with tourists everywhere.

It was also fun to see all the dogs exploring the gardens alongside their owners.

Better to prepare your own food because the cafes and restaurants are just overwhelmed with business from the visiting hordes. We brought some salads and bites from HEMA and enjoyed eating among the flowers!!

Plan your trip well with local transport! We stayed in Leiden and travelled up to Lisse by bus and then went off to Haarlem after that with the same ticket.

For years, we dreamt of visiting Keukenhof in April, but simply couldn't because our children were going to school. The younger one went to University last year & we seized this first available spring to visit this place.

If anyone wants to understand the true spirit of project management, then this is the right practical case in point. It is a mini glimpse of paradise with millions of flowering tulips, daffodils, hyacinths & numerous varieties, which we have never seen before, besides being bulbflower enthusiasts.

This year 2015, is the year of Van Gogh at Keukenhof and there is a special garden attributed to his memory, which contains his self portrait containing ten thousands of tulips. It's awesome & sensational.

I WOULD CERTAINLY ENDORSE KEUKENHOF IN HOLLAND AS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SPRING GARDEN IN THE WORLD.

Flowers lover- world's best and largest garden to explore 7 million flowers, which is opened only for 2 months (probably mid-march to mid-may) in a year. The Keukenhof features a variety of different gardens and garden styles.
Entrance ticket would be around 18 for adults in office but if you buy only you can get it for 17. For groups greater than 20 people it would be around 14.75 only.

I visited keukenhof around the end of the season and I was disappointed to see that all the tulips were wilted, withered, and dead...yet I had to pay the full price! The park itself was beautiful but the "tulips" just felt like an excuse of a big advertisement and money making scheme. If you want to visit the park, I would recommend you to visit it at the beginning of the season. But even if you end up going off season, just keep in mind that you won't be seeing much of the tulips you were expecting, just enjoy the beautiful park!

The biggest tulip gardens to be visited at any part of the year. Good climate, visiting facilities and most enjoyable with family, friends and solo. Please be prepared to be thrilled with vaste varieties of tulips, flowers. Cleanly maintained by the staff. I would say, this place is considered to be the photographers heaven who can experiment with their skills. See my posted pictures for few type of clicks.

Beautiful garden. Staff friendly and knew what they were doing. Interesting mix of formal, historical and modern styles but all involving tulips sometimes with other species and swatches of single species / variety. All under old tall decideous trees with canals running through and around. Parking and toilets available and well organized. Food good too. Worth going to and expect to spend the day.

The place is awesome, mainly now in spring with all that huge variety of tulips and other spring flowers. However those crowds (especially during Easter holidays are enormous). Yes, they all fit in, but one would enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the gardens a bit more if there was one tenth of the people.
You can get nice experience doing a bike ride around Lisse and neighboring towns too with a bit more sport and a little less crowds. Tulip fields are almost everywhere.

The park itself was not so impressive, especially on weekends when it's really crowded, but the fields nearby are fabulous. The best option is to rent a bike and cycle through the tulip fields. The beach can be reached on the 25 km route, and it's worth it. Be ready to queue for the bike rental. They only have city bikes with no speed shift.

Yes this place can get crowded and is pretty touristy, but it's worth it. You can see any variety of tulips here and you can see the huge tulip fields adjacent to the gardens. If you want to avoid the crowds, get there early. Also it's really easy to get to from the airport.

Incredible tulip and other floral displays. So happy to arrive when most are blooming. Pavilions with indoor displays, live flower arranging, science and history of tulips. Theme of garden displays changes each year; 2019 theme is Flower Power. One can spend hours walking the grounds. Parking and entry were very well managed. Plenty of eating options and restrooms are prevalent. Dogs were very present , but presented no issues. People were requested not to touch the flowers and remain off of most grass, please help preserve this lovely facility.

GORGEOUS GARDENS! Went the last week of April, and the tulips were in full-blossom. Every year Keukenhof changes the theme, so the gardens change year-by-year.

An express bus leaves every 30 minutes from Schiphol Airport, making this day trip easy to plan.

Great place to visit to learn about and see the beautiful tulips. This place is quite affordable to visit and enjoy food and refreshments if desired. They do a wonderful job with their themes as well. Very wonderful gardens. Be prepared for large crowds. Highly recommend to get there very early to avoid the large your busses.

One of the best Places to visit in Amsterdam . You can buy a ticket which includes transportation from several places like Schipol airport . The park closes on may but even the last day of the season you can enjoy the flowers and several expositions where artists mix flowers and design.

Huge botanic garden. Beautiful tulips. Orchids etc. Lots of restaurants and fast food. You have a little farm, small maze, a old mill that still "works". All amazing but the fact that they try to charge you for car parking even when we got the car parking paid online when we bought the tickets, and the souvenirs are like 4 times what they should be. Other than that all amazing.

Absolutely beautiful gardens. My wife and I went after the peak season (ie: May 11th) and it was the last week they were doing tours out there, and for a good reason. The gardens are certainly past their prime then. Even then though, it was beautiful and we both agree it was well worth it to go there. It was definitely still worth it in May, but it's probably best in late April.

The four star rating is just because it was a bit past their prime. I'm sure it would be five stars if you go during the main season.
