For me the perfect hotel for a short stay as for holidays in Ticino.

Very attentive service, absolute holiday mood. I have been spoiled!

Lovely place surrounded by palm trees and in the color of the different flowers. Among the chirping of birds and the frog croaks. Swimming pool that gives a perfect holiday atmosphere. Very high quality food, you can taste every ingredient.
Very professional, friendly and multilingual staff.

Super welcome culture. Very competent, helpful reception both at the time of booking and during the stay. Inspiring, huge hotel area with many cozy corners. Super friendly staff. Excellent service. Great culinary offer, quality has room for improvement. Ideal for active holidays!

A magical place for children & families. Family business with infinite heart and soul. Not everything perfect, not all that new and that's why it's so magical. It feels a bit like hiding in the closet, suddenly the back wall opens and you're in another world. A little Alice in Wonderland but really experienceable. The fact that the pool is always 34 degrees warm and the weather machine is officially broken in the rain and with an engraved brass plate makes everything even more charming. Thanks to the Glaus family who have created something unique for generations. I was there with my parents as a child and now I am going with my family.

Fantastic 5 star hotel. Great location, quiet with romantic pool. The staff are friendly, and the manager is thoughtful and organized. It leaves nothing to chance. The cuisine is also very good. Hotel suitable for families and events.

Great hotel. Great service, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very rich and delicious. The antipasti appetizer buffet for dinner just a dream. Extremely many opportunities for activities for young and old. Dogs very welcome. Super cool playroom for children with care from 17-22 o'clock. Nice, clean rooms. Room and hotel full of many, small, sweet details. Simply awesome here and definitely worth a visit. Also great ambience for weddings. I love it!

Very beautiful hotel, beautiful environment, it's like being in the tropics. The service is perfect, whether in the dining room or at the reception, the staff of the hotel are adorable. Absolutely nothing negative. Bravo continue like this, it's perfect.

At Albergo Losone, all guests feel comfortable - not just families. Good, friendly and unobtrusive service in every situation. Sensational buffet breakfast, bicycles for excursions and the quiet location between Ascona and Locarno make this place an ideal starting point.

When I arrived at the hotel for the first time, my boyfriend had just turned up and I was on the brink. I visited my wise sister every Tuesday after the break. The summer was approaching and the plans were to relax at home and with my wise sister. When it had already been a week in July, my dear sister sent a link. When I entered the link it popped up a great paradise right in front of my eyes. "This place is perfect!" I thought. I didn't hesitate one second and ordered for three weeks. It ended with a great success. I left there with no lumps in my stomach and in addition a new girlfriend. I didn't clear myself without this super hotel. I started a new chapter in my life and I now have two boys and one girl. Have no choice but to give full pot.

The Albergo Losone, which I know since about 40 years, is unique to me. My offspring also feels that way, that's why we like to come to you again and again.

The hotel is a real experience with children. Everyone is super friendly and you discover something new every day. The room is cleaned twice a day. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. There is a fine starter buffet and good evening menus. The children's area is a real children's dream, I have never seen anything like it.

Amazing and wonderful place for all family. I had the best time in this place, but the only thing I got disappointed it was the rooms , bit small !

Great location with a fantastic garden. Nicely renovated and quiet rooms. Receive upgrade offer without asking, beautiful garden with pool, very well maintained! Sandro from the front desk was extremely friendly. Thank you! This cannot be taken for granted in the Ticino hotel industry. We'd love to come another time!

It's our third stay, with our two children, and it's like coming home.
A very individual hotel with a great history and a very committed hotel boss and equally committed employees. From the reception to the restaurant to the laundry.
Fortunately, the hotel has retained its individuality by dropping out of the star rating and is particularly suitable for families. The KidsClub is very, very committed and the children are looked after warmly and appreciatively by three permanent employees.
The cuisine at Albergo Losone is also excellent

Paradise on earth! Unique atmosphere and from A - Z a harmonious relaxing experience. Good mix of mostly local guests. Very attentive service and service. Truly a deserved No. 1 as the best family hotel in Switzerland.

If you make a stop on your trip to Italy, stay here for a few days and enjoy this luxury hotel ideal for couples or with children. Not cheap but yes that is Switzerland. Super fresh and delicious food and you can even swim at night

Arrive and feel completely welcome, that was already 20 years ago and has kept to this day! All employees make you feel welcome - that the system is a dream, you do not really have to mention - so what more do you want as a guest? Keeping this quality is already a big task, I do not know where there is a need for optimization.

then you have once again spent a great holiday at Albergo Losone

I'm excited! We were there until yesterday (Loki family). It was great! The food was great, really unexaggerated (!!!!!!) everything was very, very child-friendly! The owner took care of us personally and, since we have a son in a wheelchair, also asked us if we needed something and if we would like to extend a table because it is more accessible. Really great!

Have been there for about the 4th or 5th time and every time excellent. Very nice staff, whether at the reception, restaurant, bar, gardener or room staff! Food inexplicably good, prices rather high, but for 5 have their price. Rooms available in various price and size categories

Every year an all-round perfect stay. The hotel is an oasis of relaxation. Excellent care, excellent staff and tasteful, well-kept rooms and suites. (However, with the clearly communicated "reservation" that you like children and have to reckon with some noise. Even though the kids are looked after by loving kindergarten teachers during the day and are usually on the move elsewhere).
Clearly the number 1 family hotel in Switzerland! Also suitable for childless guests.

Great brunch, great! But the service is poor, the waiters had to be asked to clear the table. They were serving the child's birthday cake with the table still laid, with cutlery, empty glass etc. Unkind waiters

Generous room upgrade because I had to change rooms, otherwise nothing was available. In addition, waiver of half board.
Was a single traveler, very friendly staff seem to meet every need. Any time!

We really enjoyed our stay at Albergo Losone again with our three children! A big compliment to the very warm friendliness from the boss to the front desk to the housekeeping!
The food is very tasty and the whole area is simply a dream!
Our children felt completely at ease in the kids club.

A fantastic family resort, perfect for parents and children to relax and enjoy! Food is excellent, love that breakfast buffet is open until 12 noon. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the hotel in all simply beautiful and inviting! We will definitely come back another time.

I was invited to a wedding party, great dinner, great food, very nice presentation, the manager greeted us in a very friendly way, as well as the kind and knowledgeable staff.

Warm atmosphere. Prices high. But you get something for that

** Not a child-safe facility. e.g. Safety sockets, door stoppers, edges and railing protection
** Possibility to heat baby food independently in the room or at a station in the restaurant
** No nappy pail in the room (only on request)
** no bottle warmer in the room (only on request)
** No children all inclusive; Children's buffet costs CHF 15 and offers hardly any choice, only a small menu at lunchtime
** Hardly any healthy food on the children's menu; no porridges for babies
** No fruit accessible to children all day
** Children's play area interior very old, badly worn murals, carpets, looks dingy
** Dinner only from 7 p.m. - too late for families with babies under 1 year

** No kettle in the room, so no tea (only on request)
** No coffee machine in the room, so no coffee
** No phone in the room
** Doors and windows in the hotel are in need of renovation,
Water runs through the windows in the hallways,
the doors have a huge gap at the bottom, which brings light and noise into the rooms
** No Dorman
** No concierge
** No room service
** almost every dinner the cook has not reached the cooking point of the meat
** Soups are more watery than creamy
** Service at lunchtime was rather slow, as understaffed
** Some areas in need of renovation, showing their age
** Pillow quality poor

We celebrated my wife's birthday. I ordered flowers and a cake; this worked smoothly.
BUT
No staff congratulated my wife on the anniversary. Not even a card from management, no handshake from management or reception, although we spent the whole day and a total of 7 days in the hotel. Disregard of the highest degree .. really a shame.

What is also important to know is that there are unfortunately a high number of aggressive mosquitoes in the air, so pack anti-medication or ointments against bites !!

Why a satisfactory
-due to disregarding my wife on her birthday
-It is advertised as Premium, where many high demands are not met, with a room price over 400 CHF
- It is advertised with first class house (myswitzerland) but does without first class service

Based on our previous luxury trips (see reviews: Leading Hotels of the World, Swiss Deluxe Hotels, SLH, SPG and many more) and their experiences, we would rather rate this hotel as a very good 3 *** S or a very bad 4 **** ,
It works best as a UPPER MOTEL with certain extras

Warm welcome, very friendly and helpful, all requests were fulfilled. We had beautiful rooms with green area in the direction of the biotope. It was very quiet and pleasant. The complex offers a lot and is very nice and well maintained. Breakfast and dinner left nothing to be desired. The service was a bit intrusive, I had the feeling that the wine and water bottle must be emptied in the shortest possible time. We took over the pouring ourselves. It was a pity that we were not actively advised that we could drink bottled water from the tap. The water we generally found rather expensive.

Very sympathetic hotel, beautiful interior and very well-kept area. The front desk was very welcoming, the staff was very attentive. The food tasted wonderful. A hotel for young and old. In short ... back in our house we have booked again and we look forward to it!

We stayed at the losone hotel my husband and I a month ago, we had a smartbox with included the room, the "spa" (which included an outdoor pool and a turkish bath, a dinner and breakfast.
The room was beautiful, well-kept.we had a part of the garden all to ourselves.
The outdoor pools were heated and there were games for children, fins, goggles, etc. available to the customer.
The very particular Turkish bath, I think it was made from old cellars.
The staff is very cordial and very helpful.
Dinner was really super, detail-conscious chefs, very friendly waiters, we made friends with a como waiter, I must say he knows his job.
Well in short ... I highly recommend trying this hotel

Staff always helpful and kind, from the Reception to the Restaurant. All exceptional. Beautiful room overlooking the garden. Very good food. What I like most is the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We have already been 2 times in this hotel with our 2 year old daughter and she also loved the hot water pool and playground. We will definitely be back many more times :)

TOP! We were there as a family with a toddler and we really enjoyed it. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Gladly again!

We stayed for a Sunday brunch. Impeccable service, excellent choice both hot and cold. The beby club service is also excellent.

Very Family friendly.
Fabulous spirit and be sure to discover all hidden places. The free bycicles are perfect combination with public transportation to visit and do some hiking.
