Nice little library. Emphasis on the word little, as this place is tiny offering a limited amount of car parking (which is aids if it's busy) and offers no where to set up your laptop and work/study/whatever. I'm quite surprised to see Birkenhead have a huge, fancy library, while Albany's, in comparison, is like Shrek's shack.
The library is equipped with facilities and programmes most especially designed for children. Parking is limited. Staffs are very friendly and always helpful.
It's a small library that has what is needed. There is a good general selection of books and magazines. They have a kids section and there are many activities that are put on. There are also computers available for connecting to the internet.
So happy with my experience with this library so easy, little small but they can order books in for you from other locations
I used the library for the first time!
The staff was happy to help with the use of computers and printers.
Thank you
The library is great for a lot of things. I use their e-book and e-magazine every week. The computers in the library are amazing for genealogy as well as other research. It's really a treasure to have access to.
Very small library & there isn't really enough space to comfortably study. As a non-student, you are better to study at Massey Library 4 mins down the road.
In front of the library, there's a play ground.
Tidy quiet library.
Nice and beautiful library. Plenty of Parking and its next to Kell Park.
Good place to read books and spend the weekend with kids
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The interior feel modern, and clean; and the ambiance is quiet and peaceful. Do remember to ask about Albany Village historic trail, it's an interesting walk filled with local history.
It's really tiny and far away from albany shopping district.
