I would not think a title company could be this bad. I have been originating loans for 18 years and this one took the cake. To keep it short, the totally messed up a borrower name on title and docs and somehow while closing, it was informed to them to just correct the doc or have borrower correct item and initialized, but in their infinite wisdom, they ignored request and continues with erroneous spelling. Now its horrible to track anyone down to get this corrected. Avoid these people at all costs.

We had a very smooth closing with Karla McCullough at A Law. She was very easy to work with, answered all of our questions, and helped to quickly resolve a lender mistake that we identified. Highly recommend!

I got my Loan Modification by Mr. Cooper in June 2018 and they still want to sell my house. There has been 2 attempts but the Judge always cancels it. Thank god, The Lawyers tricked me into a False Hearing which the Court never had a document of. Everything was falsely sent to my home. I went to a hearing and the banks attorney didn t show up for the hearing. Thank god my house auction was CANCELED and a form was signed and Finished. I have 1 month left to pay and i m out of this issue with these Lawyers!! These lawyers are inhumane!! And like playing with your families life!! I have a friend in the same situation. Alberti Law, a Class Action Law Suit is on your way. They also a hired a private investigator to stalk my family without any reasoning at all.

Albertelli Law was handling a Lis Pendens for a bank that began in 2015. The case dragged on through 2019. I eventually purchased via county auction in 2019. The previous owner objected to the lawful auction. I attempted to contact the last attorney of record on multiple occasions. Messages were ignored. Albertelli Law filed no motions to complete the foreclosure process until I eventually secured my own counsel as an interested party and completed the certificate of title.

I cannot imagine doing business with a law firm that does not stay on top of things and fails to return messages.

My wife and I just had a very smooth closing with ALAW! Karla McCullough answered all of our questions in stride and was very professional and courteous. I would definitely work with them again in the future!

I worked with Liz Hammond as pre-closer for our transaction. Such a friendly knowledgeable person, I felt very confident throughout the entire transaction that our closing would go smoothly, and it did. Thanks Liz.

Fannie Mae needs to find a new closing attorney. Unbelievably inept office that clearly can't handle the volume of closing transactions associated with Fannie Mae. Very glad my client backed out of a homepath house after inspection....only wish it didn't take this firm a month to get the EMD back.

I want to bid on one of their properties. The clerk of courts says to research any fees or potential claims against the property. I called the bank- they don't know. I called this attorney and the receptionist said, "that is something you'd have to research on your own." I said, "yes, this is part of my research, where else should I check?" She said, "I can't give you any directives. " I said, "so the bank doesn't know and your law firm doesn't know?" She said, "well we know, we just can't tell you." Umm ok.

I saw a house that was in foreclosure and drove by it and fell in love. I asked my realtor and she then spent over 30 minutes getting transferred between people till she finally got a voicemail and left a message. That was 15 days ago..... she tried again because I couldn t let it go and again the same thing. I came online to look at the company to figure out what was going on and after reading the reviews, which were 95% TERRIBLE for horrible customer service and problems with closing I will not be trying to chase them down to look at any of their houses again and I will be sure to let friends and family know. I guess they really don t want cash buyers purchasing their properties, really sucks though because now that beautiful home will go to waste. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT REVIEWED AND SAVED ME THE HASSLE OF DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY.

Have been trying to reach this company as they're handling accounts for Mr. Cooper (Mortgage Servicer). Mr. Cooper is non-responsive and passes the buck to ALAW who refuses to answer any phone number or extension beyond their corporate operator... who can't help at all.

My situation with this office is very time sensitive and I'm told every interaction has a 72 hour turnaround... 100% unacceptable. I'll email 100 times and call 100 more if I have to in order to get someone to talk to me with some answers.

Like everyone else has said... do not screw with people's families. I'm trying to make things right and you all are putting my family at risk with your inaction and unprofessional behavior.

As A realtor in NY, working with Valerie of ALAW was great experience for an auction foreclosure for my buyer. They represented the seller not my buyer, but regardless with these kidns of transactions there are lot of moving parts and some of them go in there own direction and Valerie helped keep things on the rails and because of consolidated efforts from her, Stefphanie from Brightline title, our attorneys efforts will get us to a closing next week! THANK YOU VALERIE FOR YOUR PART IN ALL THIS!

If I could rate 0, I would. I worked here for a year and it was absolute living hell. However, the reason for my review is the debacle with my COBRA insurance after QUITTING this hellhole over 2 months ago. How many HR professionals does it take to handle a COBRA election notice? 0 - they farm it out to a third party! How many HR professionals does it take to notify the third party immediately AFTER the election period that health plans changed and, therefore, my election and premiums paid were pointless? 1, it seems. However, it takes 3 - 4 HR professionals to refill coffee supplies and ration paper towels.

Rude rude rude lady when you call asking questions about documentation your name is on from there law firm. No one needs to do business with a law firm that treat people in this manner. Sorry not sorry

I have never used this law firm but they keep giving out the wrong POBox address and much of their mail is coming to me. This has been going on for years - I have called several times - it still continues! Based on this I can imagine that they are very competent. If they can correct this I would be happy to revise this review

It doesn't get any lower or worse than this Law Group. I know if you can't execute a closing, you shouldn't be practicing law. If you trust your legal matters to this group, you're asking for a wreck! Unfortunately, I'm on the receiving end of their business as we attempt to a close that they are handling matters for. This is our 5th house and by far the worst experience! I guess someone has to be last and ALAW, you just won the price as the most incompetent group of people around! STAY CLEAR EVERYONE!

They are the worst, very incompetent DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE!. They are the company that represents Wells Fargo and I had no choice since I was imposed on working with them. After been under contract for almost 2 months and at 1 day of closing date I found out after I asked them if everything was set up for closing that some papers were still missing, papers that were their responsibility to obtain, they waited until last minute to do their job. Thanks to their lack of respect and incompetence we had rescheduled our closing date, the least that I can say is that this is the worst tittle company ever.

one of the worst law firms/closing agency in florida. I was the an agent on a transaction and there was an addendum charging the fee to the buyer. I was told that the fee would be on the HUD and even confirmed it the day before closing. The day of closing came and they didn't collect the fee. When I brought it up to their attention they stated that I would have to collect the fee. Great, an attorney stating that fees doesn't have to be collected on the HUD, pretty sure ALL fees and monies have to be on the HUD in order to be collected. The job of the title company is to review the contract and insure all fees and money is collected instead of just passing on responsibility. The fact that they did this shows how incompetent they are. I can just imagine what kind of other mistakes they make on a much larger scale.

This was the worst closing experience I have encountered in my career as a REALTOR. Their fees are absurdly high, not to mention, their customer service does not match their ridiculously high fees. They did not return phone calls or emails. Closing day came and went and there still was not one single response from them. They did not credit escrow funds on the ALTA Settlement Statement, I had to send information and receipt of escrow more than once. It even took them several days to find final monies wired to them. I would not recommend them to anyone for handling your Real Estate transactions. I would give them a 0 star-rating.

I purchased a foreclosure at auction.com. They never sent me my deed. Called and them several times and was told account was closed that I should contact the bank. Contacted bank and was told they have to provide me the record of deed. Now I have to get an attorney. Hopefully, I can charge them any attorney fees that I have to pay because this is ridiculous.

The fees are ridiclous and the lack of communication is almost comicial. Their fees are more than double other title companies and still they screw it up. My buyer & I were delivered one deed and two closing statements that have nothing to do with the house he purchased from FANNIE MAE. In exchange for the absurd closing fee they charge, they can't even acknowledge receipt of a commission disbursement authorization (sent FIVE email inquiries) much less cut an additional check in order to honor it.

I have worked on the listing side of REO transactions for 15 years, for 2 separate REO brokers, from Fannie to HUD and almost every bank out there. In those years, I have dealt with at least a thousand REO closings and dozens of closers. In all those years, for all of those closings, I have never had a Closer who did as good of a job as Tiffany. This last closing was a bit of a challenge, as the buyer was elderly and somewhat technologically challenged. I reached out to Tiffany and asked her to contact the buyer and buyer's agent to walk them through the process; which she did. And then she did it again. She might have done it a third time that I don't know about, but whether she did or didn't, she went above and beyond. It is a bit of a miracle that this closed only one day past our original close date and I credit most of that miracle to Tiffany.
In the REO business, we tend to think of properties as files. But on the other end of a file is a buyer who is making one of the biggest decisions of their life. When we're dealing with a file, it is easy to lose sight of the human story going on on the other side. Tiffany did not. She was stellar throughout and saw it through to the end with both professionalism and humanity.
