Al Fanar Restaurant – Dubai Festival Mall Review

We were served two different salads and we asked the waiter to mix them, only mix them!!!! Not change not re do, only take them back to the kitchen mix them and bring in one bowl. And they simply refuse to do it because its against there rules!!!! Manager named Ahmed in DFC branch explained to me that if they start fullfilling requests of each individual customer we will break our rules!!!

So much for mixing a salad!!! Manager even asked me to do it myself. Never ever will I set foot in this place again.

We love this amazing restaurant. Excellent service, attentive staff, squeaky clean premises etc. One of the finest Emirati Cuisine in town.
We don't use the delivery service as it takes nearly 1 hour plus to have it delivered to home. Even though we are literally 15 minutes from the restaurant but that's usual for any delivery service.

Since I discovered this place, I am not ordering seafood from anywhere else anymore! This time I ordered seafood tray and it is enough for two people. Loved the package, flavors and freshness!

I had a fabulous Saturday Brunch at Al Fanar Restaurant with a friend. The ambience is beautiful and social distancing between tables is maintained.
We had tried the Arabic breakfast tray which consisted of traditional arabic breakfast dishes like Shakshouka, foul , khabisah , arabic bread , labneh . The breakfast tray is more than enough for two persons.
They also serve two hot drinks which are arabic tea and karak chai which is included in the breakfast tray .
We also tried some leqaimat which was a sweet way to end our delightful breakfast experience .
The staff were welcoming and the service was great .

Finally I ve proven what I heard and read about Al Fanar Restaurant in Al Seef, Dubai. I agree that it s one of the best tasting Emirati restaurants in Dubai and a must-try! My friend and I sampled their Signature platter served with rice, grilled fish, squid and prawns and baby shark meat. We also ordered Prawn Biryani, Grilled Seabass, Iced lemon mint. Food was fresh and delicious! Superb! Service was quick and friendly! We were served by a Nepalese staff and a Filipina staff named Juliet. Very attentive and customer-friendly! Their service complemented the food and the ambiance and overall dining experience!

Fabulous, authentic Emirati restaurant.
Great service and remarkable food

I dare to say this is the only genuine authentic Emirati food experience in Duabi

Restaurant is 5 starts, the food is authentic Emirati, I don't expect you to know it (me neither), but you will enjoy it

Starters, tea and sweets were amazing. Next time I will try Meat Thareed. Majboos meat was alright.

Food is good and service is exceptional. And the view from the outside seating oversees the creek where the digital water fountain show takes place. Only point where they could improve is they could have served the food specially the rice more hot.

The restaurant is based on the mall, the entrance and the all restaurant it s inspired in typical things from the country
When you get inside the restaurant is really nice to see the decoration on the walls, the tables,...The food is amazing is typical emirates food, you can get full easily and is not expensive. They serve also juicies and milsakes. The best is to choose a dish with meat and rice.
However there s free wifi on the restaurant.100% recommend this place.
