Conclusion:
The Akka Antedon is getting a bit old. You notice this e.g. quite clearly in the bathroom furnishings. The fittings are partly a bit worn and the paint on the walls has seen better days here and there.
The staff is helpful and friendly. In some cases, however, the language skills are relatively limited. Since 80% of the clientele consists of Russian-speaking guests (see Google reviews), the focus here is definitely not on German / English, which you can do with a friendly smile. The animation part is also geared towards the Russian audience.
The pool landscape is extensively designed and offers enough opportunities to relax in it. The number of loungers is also correspondingly high, so that you can usually always find a place. Even if you are traveling as a family, there is always an option here. If you can't find anything, the beach offers plenty of other options.
The beach consists of coarse sand with small stones. It is therefore advisable to also buy shoes for the water, as otherwise you can easily cut yourself through the sharp-edged stones. Alternatively, you can also get into the sea via the pier. There is no such danger there.
The facility has several attractions. The cat house is nice to look at for children. There is also the theater stage where the children's disco takes place in the early evening before the main show starts. There is also a nice slide system and various other little niceties (trampoline for children (but for money), Kettcarverleih (for money), aquapeeling with fish (for money) etc.). The children's playground is sometimes not in the best condition as damage was only sparsely repaired. Therefore, the children should only play here under supervision.
In bad weather it can happen that the facilities are blocked accordingly. (Especially the children's pool was then usually closed) The playground can of course only be used to a certain extent.
The indoor play area for children is spacious. However, it is also advisable to watch out for the children here, as the staff is not always on the ball. So it happened that children with urine-soaked pants used the playground equipment and nobody cared about it. It looks similar at the children's pool. Some feces were lying around here for up to 20 minutes before someone from the staff took care of the removal, despite a corresponding advice. We can't say much about the wellness area as we didn't really use it. Only the hairdresser / barber was tested and was absolutely fine. You should really only visit the hotel doctor when it comes to life and death. Otherwise, a visit to the city hospital is recommended (approx. 15 minutes away by bus), as you will not be ripped off there. The hotel doctor is an employee of a private clinic association and transfers the relevant cases to his own clinic. There you will be treated for extremely expensive money (a mere 1,500 euros per day).
All in all, one has to say that the hotel has already passed its prime and at one point or another the investment backlog becomes visible. The staff goes out of their way to offer people a pleasant stay, which is only possible to a limited extent due to the general conditions. Therefore, other systems with a better price / performance ratio are the better choice.

Very nice hotel with super friendly staff, nice rooms, a big variety of buffet food all day long and beautiful garden, beach and swimming pools. Animation until midnight may be noisy if your room is close to the swimming pool. Ask for a quiet room if you like to take an afternoon nap, away from the pool. Reasonably priced small shops in hotel.

I am writing a review for the first time and am in the hotel. The food is excellent, very green hotel with a variety of plants, polite staff ... make a remark) - the staff does not follow, a week before arrival they asked for a quiet room (they answered that they would do it), in fact, they settled in a room with a staircase where cars for discussion create an unforgettable sound both from above and from the side, and there is no 5-star hotel for a single family beds (they moved two together, it is extremely inconvenient), there is no big TV for watching football, but these are already subjective trifles ... and also cleaning ... after that you have to remove your hair from the floors yourself.

Hotel nature, mountain, sea, forest and the hotel's botanical garden were superb. The sea was mixed with stones and sand. Its clear water, but it gets deep quickly.
The food, the service in the restaurant, the cleanliness of the room, the maintenance and cleaning of the common areas, the children's club's understanding of service in the city that is worthy of a five-star hotel and the friendliness of the staff made us really happy. The beach, water park and pools are great. Baths are poor. The choice of food is not adapted to Lithuanians.
Great family hotel, amazing dining room, helpful staff, the hotel itself is not big, but there are a lot of interesting things. Every evening there is a show with a certain theme, and after a disco with live music. I advise everyone!

I suggest it because it has the best natural garden I have ever seen. Very tasty food, very nice drinks at the bars. Workers are very friendly. There are a lot of daily activities. Nightshows were nice but the chairs were not so comfortable at the theater. In my opinion the rooms needs to be renovated but it is very clean. The pool is a little bit hot. The sea is very clean. It is the best family hotel I have visited.
We were in Akka in 2012. Before that in 2011 we were in a 4 * hotel and of course it turned out to be a good 2 * hotel. Tez made a good offer to Akka for compensation and of course we went. Everything was super +++++. In 2015, we would like to take the child there as well. It seems expensive, but good is not cheap.
Since this is an "investment" emotion that will not be forgotten soon, we will do it again :)

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days. We liked it very much. Every day we were tidy. Great animators are employed in the area. Most of all we liked a young man named Habip, who led us through all sports and cultural events. The whole area is very clean. Service at the bar perfect. I recommend to all. The hotel is very good, meets the price! Liked the service and staff. The new water park, large pool and clean beach are a huge plus for the hotel. I have never seen a house of cats anywhere! The animation is cool! The guys do their job 100%, always active and positive. A bar with elite alcohol, and most importantly, there are no queues! The territory is large, green and well-groomed. Arrived the first one definitely not the last time!
Stayed in this hotel 1-2 years ago. We were there with our little daughter and we all came at our expense. Super friendly and helpful staff. Especially all the waiters were excellent with the children busy. Food was always delicious and the whole place was clean! Only negative for us, however, was that our room looked onto a schoolyard. Was pretty loud in the morning. However, it was everyday. Would like to come back!

Great hotel and facilities. The parents of the younger children were very happy as the playground, beach and kids restaurant were all well received. The rooms are large with a sofa bed in each and even duplex if you want. The buffet restaurant was well kaud out with plenty of space and actually not too noisy. My wife and could hear each other across the table. The waiting staff were very attentive and the chips were proper thicker ones. I loved them so much I ate them every day. There was plenty of meat, including liver, fish and vegetables. The hotel is pretty big so you will get your steps in, especially if you are having meetings there. There are a range of meeting rooms of various sizes and also a lovely quiet reading room on the ground floor. t us easy to get to on public transport as well in the Kemer bus was easy to use. ProGo is also a good app us you don't want to take the bus and cheaper than the taxis. We had a lovely stay and I would definitely visit this hotel again, the service from all the staff was excellent and the quality of English spoken very good.
