It's a pretty standard new american menu, but it's exceptionally well done. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with tables set a reasonable distance apart and good soundproofing. This is exactly the level of food quality and ambiance you would expect given the price of the food (something I've found is pretty rare in LA!)

Part of the restaurant is also a coffeeshop! There's a separate space to the side where they serve a limited food menu, along with the expected espresso drinks and pastries. It's quiet and pretty empty during the week, so it's a great place to get some work done.

Akasha always seems to inspire me to try something different. The menu is interesting, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere brings it all together. This time I ordered the Chicken Marsala and it was absolutely spectacular. I've been here several times and have always had a great experience...I do however recommend making reservations as the place tends to fill up.

I went to the coffee shop. Great service. Plenty of space, I had my own table with my laptop. They let me sample the cold brew before buying. Tbh it actually wasn't the best - it wasn't filtered properly. But the environment there is worth it. I might try an Americano next time.

Food is alright. And that's about all there is to say. Nothing imaginative or amazingly executed to warrant the sticker price. 120 for salad, appetizer, beer, glass of wine, and two entrees. Nothing about the meal warranted the price. Salad was over dressed and yet lacked any flavor other than olive oil. The risotto was really a spanish rice jambalaya but lacked seasoning. There was nothing "spiked" about the spiked turkey burger.

I believe the bar and weekend brunch carries this restaurant.

Food was amazing. Loved the atmosphere & the look of the restaurant. Although the whole time we were there our server was on his phone -instagramming and so on and taking pictures of a drink he made. That s great & all but the whole entire time he could not let go of his phone, even when he dropped off the check (after we asked for it) he has his phone in one hand & the check in the other. It s just obnoxious & unprofessional.

Fairly busy, popular eatery with several different high-tier options and flexibility in terms of how the meal is implemented, including options for those trying to go low carb/keto. I have been here a couple of times during lunch for meetings, and it is always well-attended. My meals have been better than satisfactory, and the staff is polite and attentive, happy to make suggestions when asked for advice on the meal. Meal ingredients are high quality, and portions are ample.

I just ordered delivery under quarantine. The experience was amazing from start to finish. Their website is set up just for these times, and it explains very clearly, more clearly than most businesses, exactly the steps they re taking to make sure that everything is sanitary. They use their own delivery people to deliver, which to me shows that they re avoiding the abusive apps. The food was just divine, and so comforting. In the photos, I m showing you guys Keylime pie, chicken cacciatore, and corn muffins. Thank you, Akasha

The first thing that sticks out like a sore thumb ...

The first thing that sticks out like a sore thumb is the amiable nature in Akasha. Extremely nice customer service offered by the employee and great organization of the dining space making for a nice and cozy environment. Food was amazing as expected. Which is a direct result of swiftness and quality. This place is easily noticeable from a moving vehicle so you sure won't miss Akasha. This place doesn't break the bank either. With their top quality food cuisine, the prices are neither too cheap nor too expensive. The prices fairly and accurately matches the services offered here. This Bustling spot preparing New American farm to table cuisine in a rustic-chic setting is best known for its Great coffee, great tea, great dessert. It's atmosphere is also known for being cozy, upscale and romantic. It also incooperates high chair giving it its upscale vibes. Are there multiple of you? No problem as this place is great for groups. And with the swift service offered at this place, your crew won't be waiting for long. This place is also great for tourist. They offer vegetarian options, and if you are in a hurry? They got you covered with thier take outs. Dont forget your desserts. I most certainly will be revisiting Akasha when next I get a chance to dine in at this amazing place.

The menu is always full of fresh ingredients and innovative combinations, including cocktails. Never a bad time, even in COVID days when I cant6 enjoy the huge stone bar. You'll have a great meal here.

I love this restaurant. LOVE IT. Please do yourself a favor and get the papadelle pasta. Shhh, your excuses mean nothing to me. This dish is incredible. As is everything else. The only reason I think this restaurant is expensive is because I order so many dishes. Make sure to make a reservation or be prepared to wait at their cool bar for a bit. Now, go, eat there, and then send me a note of thanks.... :-)

Food was great! The short ribs and sweet potato fries which I had were really tasty.
However, when I visited the restrooms there was a big cockroach in there! This kind of freaked me out!
I informed a lady who was in an office just across from the restrooms about it and went back in the restroom with her to show her the cockroach. Her manner was quite shocking to be honest. She looked like I was bothering her. She told me she thought that the cockroach was there because of the construction work being done on the ceiling in the restroom.
Not once did she offer an apology or a thanks for letting me know . I walked out and left her in there.
What a shame!
I still joined my family and we had our meal since I did not want to spoil the evening for them. I only told them of the incident as we drove home.

I stopped in to pick up food. There is parking in back but I came to find out that its only for their staff. I ran into pick up items. Luckily there was an associate there that took the time to review my order after the first hit handed me my bag. She found that I was missing a very expensive upgrade fish and the guy would have let me leave without it. Expensive but food is good.

Met friends for dinner here, as it's a great central location for people coming from the West Side and West Hollywood. Service here is always outstanding.

We started with some plates for sharing. First was the Albacore Crudo, which was refreshing and delicious. Next was the Roasted Garlic Hummus with caramelized onion flatbread, and kalamata olive. It was rich and satisfying, with great flavors.

Our entrees were the Pumpkin Seed Crusted Idaho Trout with underwood farms broccolini, green garlic, squash puree, caper & preserved lemon salsa verde. We also had the Pan Roasted Mary's Chicken with spinach spaetzle, english peas, spring onion, wild mushrooms, and roasted chicken jus -- this was amazing.

Love the environment, but the service is regularly lacking for the premium price. One example: 30+ minutes for a cappuccino during brunch, snarky servers when I asked for an update at 20 minutes. I still go occasionally, but the price isn't justified for consistently meh service.

Some people are nervous around dogs. Some are allergic to dogs. And some simply don't enjoy sharing eating space with strangers' dogs - not everyone wants to be surrounded by dogs when they go to an eating establishment for people. We sat outside and in very short order, had a dog to the left, and two dogs directly in front. Due to the layout of the outdoor seating, we were surrounded. Akasha should clearly post that they allow pets, at least we would have been fairly warned. While we didn't appreciate the dog situation, the food was ok. The blueberry French toast was yummy. The eggs were scrambled just right, though not seasoned quite enough, and had patches of unexplained green coloring. My basil lemonade had an Alka Seltzer sensation, and no basil infused - just a sprig of basil decoratively placed in the glass. Akasha is a decent place to eat, but I don't get the hype.

This place looks good. The atmosphere is cool. There's a bar that has happy hour daily. We went for brunch. I really enjoyed my huevos rancheros. The food was kindda upscale. Beautiful presentations. Regular portions, enough for a meal, no leftovers. Like with all bottomless mimosas, it's mostly juice. I will probably try the happy hour next. I would recommend this place.

Great ambiance and service, good for large parties. The cocktails are excellent and they have a wide variety of dishes. The grass-fed burger is ok but not worth the $18 price tag. Just go to public school for that.

Always great service and always great food. I have eaten there four times and the food is always hot and well prepared. The service is always great as well. The jazz band plays on Monday's and they are great and not intrusive to your conversations.

Had a really nice lunch here but what the hell is this trend where restaurants are charging a kitchen service fee? If you can't afford to pay your kitchen staff a living wage don't open a restaurant. You hear me? Food is good. System is really bad. Some restaurant owners really make me sick. Most in fact, having worked I this industry many years. So glad to be out of it.

Not a lot wrong with this place. Very good ingredients, well cooked on a varied menu.
Staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was attentive.

Couple of standout dishes were the buttermilk chicken & hanger steak.

Wine list was small but with decent options and the cocktail menu looked great.

It's the sort of place I would visit regularly if I liveed in the area.
