The hotel is a magical place! The infrastructure is impeccable, the rooms are very comfortable and everything is very well taken, but the best thing that it has is the level of service of its collaborators. We were impressed by the human quality of all hotel employees, always attentive and looking for the guest to be better than at home. I would go back and I highly recommend it !!! The hotel food is delicious !!

Aite was a perfect introduction to the amazing culture, food, and scenery of coastal Colombia. The grounds are like a finely groomed garden and the staff is there for your every need. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to disconnect and relax in a beautiful Colombian setting.

Aite was a very memorable excursion for us as we had never been to Colombia. At a very exotic location on their Caribbean coast, we had a great beach bungalow that included a very nice bed, overhead shower, fridge and hammocks on the front porch. The service staff was very friendly and the meals were terrific! Meals are served in an open-air dining area that is perched high above much of the rest of the property, so you have a great view while eating. We were there in December and the temps were nice and balmy. I understand it is that way year-round and we enjoyed constant ocean breezes. You can hike along the beach to or beyond either of two rivers, or just take it easy like we did. The owners were in the middle of expanding the cabin offerings to accommodate larger groups to a cabin and were almost finished with a couple of fabulous looking structures. Our stay was lovely.
I found it great, the delicious food, the rooms equal to the images, the horse ride and the Palomino river super cool, in the morning you just wake up you hear the birds and squirrels are everywhere, if you are a person who does not wants to be very in touch with nature suddenly this hotel is not for you, but if you like it or even if you are only going to spend it in the pool it is a wonderful and beautiful hotel, keep it up, the hotel is divine

During my first trip to Colombia, I stayed with friends in a Cabana right on the beach coast. It was such a relaxing resort that offered some of the best meals I have ever tasted. The hotel staff, management, and owner made the entire experience feel as if we were part of the family. Aite Eco hotel is somewhere everyone must go for a a relaxing and authentic rainforest experience.

It is an ideal hotel to relax away from everyday life. Each guest is accommodated in a separate house with a view of the beach or garden. This creates an amazing atmosphere. The hotel is well equipped, the restaurant food is delicious, the beach pool is fascinating with a good view.
This resort/hotel is just wonderful. The staff is friendly and knows a bit of english (which is helpful!) and the rooms and surroundings were beautiful. Especially the showers/bathrooms. they are kept natural and open (but private), making it feel like you are showering in the wild. we were here for a wedding and the service of the staff was just brilliant. really good place to stay!

Had a wonderful two night stay at this hotel in Palomino. It started before I even arrived, as the incredibly friendly and responsive (and English speaking!) staff answered my questions via email and facilitated the reservation. They were just as amazing in person.
Upon arriving I was blown away by the property itself, each "room" is more like a modern cabin on the sand near the beach, equipped with soft beds (including bug nets as a precaution), hammocks, rain shower, fans, etc. There is no WiFi in the rooms, and it's a great excuse to focus on the sound of the ocean rather than your device. Besides, there is fast and free WiFi in the common area.
In that common area is an outdoor dining restaurant with some of the most incredible food I've had in Colombia. Shrimp with tamarind sauce was a particular favorite . . . weeks later I am still thinking about. And for $10 - $15 a person, especially with breakfast included in the room rate, thought it was more than worth it.
There are two pools as well, perfect for a dip day or night. How many times in life can you say you swam under the stars? With the ocean so close you can also walk along the beach under the stars. It's just as brilliant during the day.

Aite is magic! There is something special about everything that happens when you arrive here. Food tastes better. Time passes slower. And the extraordinary location coupled with the amazing staff make this experience one worth repeating! Which is exactly why we can back!! The new accommodations on the beach and the fantastic pool were unexpected additions that merely add to this little slice of paradise. Not to be missed!!
Can I leave six stars? I have never been somewhere more beautiful and off the grid than Aite Eco Hotel. The food, wine, atmosphere and service was exceptional! Hoping I make my way back one day!

We had a dream stay. The hotel and staff were superb. This is heaven on earth.
Our family, 2 adults and 2 kids spent 10 days in December. The hotel is beautiful. We stayed in the cabanas by the beach. Strongly recommend them. Not too many people at the beach which in my opinion is great. 30 minute walking distance there is a river, crystalline waters coming from the sierra Nevada. The hotel can arrange different trips like tubing on a river, great experience for kids. In general we had a fantastic time in a beautiful place, with the hotel staff always willing to make our stay as pleasant as possible
It is an ideal hotel for rest and away from everyday life, it has cabins overlooking the sea where only the waves of the sea and the sounds of nature are heard so it is perfect to disconnect and share as a couple, the facilities are very Good, the restaurant food is delicious, the beach pool with a very comfortable bar and good view.
Very nice hotel that is worth its money. Clean garden and a good atmosphere. Rooms are clean and minibar is refilled every day. Compared to other hotels in the area the service is excellent. Only some staff can speak English (Maria) and pretend to be very British. But if you speak a bit Spanish the usual staff will take care of you, which is better. Pool is great.

Estela and Olga's massage took away all the fatigue from our muscles, our cabin in front of the sea was perfect, the food was delicious and the service was very good. A hotel in the middle of the jungle, with immensity of birds, an absolute high tranquility and the possibility of walking to the mouths of the nearby rivers. I hope they go in low season to avoid the crowd in Palomino!
The only thing I didn't like was the mosquitoes ... hahaha!
This place is absolute paradise! You have the Caribbean in one direction and lush green mountains in the other direction. There are so many beautiful places to lounge throughout the resort, so the biggest decision you have to make every day is where you want to lie down to nap or read. The bungalows by the beach are amazing. You're very close with nature and have the sound of the ocean lulling you to sleep at night, but still have all the amenities you need. The meals were terrific - super fresh and perfect portion size. Any time we needed something, the staff was quick to see to our requests. We will definitely be making this our regular getaway destination!
I rested as I did not years ago, abundant delicious food, eco hotel with all the amenities and amenities, excellent guest service, we agreed on everything we wanted and provided tours around the area. I recommend it 100%

I live in Miami Beach, and I've been to some of the most elite clubs, hotels, and restaurants in the world. We booked 2 superior rooms on Orbitz at approximately $225 per room, specifying 4 adults and 2 children (ages 9 and 6). Upon arriving, the hotel staff told us they could not accomodate us without passports for our children, which we had left in our apartment in Santa Marta. No part of the check in process or disclaimers from Orbitz/the hotel said anything about this being a requirement. All of this was fine until the manager arrogantly told us that we should know better because every hotel in the world requires identification for children (not the case in the U.S.) We kindly asked if they could work with us, with us sending them photos of the passports via WhatsApp. The reply... "it really doesn't matter since we don't allow children under the age of 8 anyway." I have no regrets about the situation after staying at a nearby hotel -- just as nice -- at 1/3 the price. I would advise the manager of the hotel to not judge a book by its cover... we've spent thousands of dollars staying at much nicer hotels than yours. You certainly did not extend the courtesy and kindness I've grown to love from the people of Colombia.

Aite is the ideal combination of urban and tropical. It is located right at the point that allows you to enjoy the sea, the rivers and the majestic Sierra Nevada. Its architecture, its eco-environmental philosophy, its restaurant and its services make it the perfect getaway.
It is a wonderful place, special for the rest, a natural place, without technology, it has swimming pools, beautiful beaches, cabins and a delicious typical food of the guajira. Children under 8 years old are not accepted for security. It is a nice and cozy place. Ideal for newlyweds.
The food was spectacular at every meal...and exceeded my expectations because the quality, the variety and the preparations were sophisticated and authentic to Columbian cuisine. Foodies will not be disappointed! Aite sources local organic produce and everything we ate had a fresh picked taste. The native fruit juices were amazing and unique.
The service at the hotel was exceptional. Staff was attentive, well trained and spoke enough English to assist us with any requests.
We stayed in a newly built "cabin" on Aite's pristine beach. The cabins are well outfitted and have plenty of open air access in addition to ceiling fans. What could be better than falling asleep and waking up to the sound of crashing waves about 50 yards away? There's also a brand new swimming pool with comfortable lounge chairs just steps away from the cabins (this is in addition to a pool near the reception area).
You can do as much or little as you like. A nap on a hammock, long walk on the beach or watching the beautiful sunsets for some zen time. If you desire more activity I would highly recommend a morning trip to the river with the cliffs and waterfall. It's just beautiful and great for a refreshing swim and an optional (but recommended) jump from the top of the rocks. My friends also had great experiences horseback riding and hiking.
Spectacular hotel, quiet, very beautiful and very friendly and cordial attention
Aite Eco Hotel was an amazing place to stay because it had wonderful commodities and provided me some well needed relaxation. I loved the cabin I stayed in because it was right next to the beach and you could hear the ocean waves crashing on the shore which I had never experienced in any other hotel. Additionally, the food was delicious. Everything I tried on the menu from the traditional Colombian ceviche to their juicy steaks, was beyond the charts. Also, the desserts were to die for. Moreover, their food was fresh and had a gourmet touch. And, their staff provided excellent service. Furthermore, the views were spectacular. The restaurant s terrace provided you a view of this beautiful hill they have in the property, a plethora of trees ranging from palm to mango, and the beach. Ultimately, it was the best hotel I had stayed in because it had everything I wanted and more. It allowed me the opportunity to lounge by the lobby, the two pools, and the beach. And, ultimately, enjoy myself for a few days by disconnecting from my day to day life. It really connected me with nature and gave me that pampering vibe with the wonderful people that worked there and attended me. I hope I can go back soon!
I had a really great time at Aite this past December. I had never been to Colombia before, and this was such a special introduction to Colombia's natural beauty! Our cabana was right on the beach of the Caribbean Sea. I wish that I had taken a panoramic photo to share, because looking in any direction was absolutely stunning. Views of the gorgeous blue-green ocean, the sandy beach, the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountain range, the natural coconut groves, and the abundance of flora and fauna everywhere made my visit so peaceful and restful. I hardly looked at my iPhone the two nights and three days that I was there. The food was awesome, with the chef and kitchen staff preparing fresh local food for every meal. I hope to return to beautiful Aite' some day.

Beautiful beach hotel with a small pool. We rented a cabana on the beach and it was great! As we left before the start of the breakfast they prepared us very good sandwitchs. However, you should know that the hotel is located 40 mins walk from the main street of Palomino. So we had dinner there but they forced us to choose between 2 schedules (because they were full), while all the other guests arrived when they wanted. We arrived around 1pm while the check-in is at 3pm (a little too late), and they had to come and see us to tell us that our room was free but no one came.

To anticipate it. I would book this hotel again. But you have to know one thing. The bungalows are so spartan, that reminds us of camping. There is some 2er Hostel determined better equipped.
What I liked very much, that was the location and the beach and the friendliness of the whole team. The breakfast was rather mediocre. The coffee was so thin that you could look through it. I also complained. Was just included in the room rate. Everything that was not included, the dinner, that was lonely top. We enjoyed it every evening to enjoy this great perfect restaurant. And not to forget the great terrace. You look into the landscape and the sea.

We had a wonderful stay at the Aite Hotel Palimino. The service is great, the staff is always nice and courteous. The rooms are big, clean and cozy. The food, both lunch, dinner and breakfast, is very fresh and good. There are two pools on the complex. We would love to come back!
