One of the best agencies I have ever had the pleasure to deal with.

I only see kids and staff when they are leaving. The staff is very good with the kids.

I would never send my family members with intellectual disabilities here to be cared for.After seeing a day habilitation supervisor touch residents perineal area with NO gloves,use her bare hands as a clothing protector for fallen food to feed back to the residents,name call staff infront of the residents,touch urinary catheters with no gloves,touch residents food with no gloves to check the temperature,and constantly disrupt staff assignments to do a seperate unrelated task inorder to not have to do any work.for example if staff was transferring someone from a wheelchair to a recliner (ny state law requires TWO people to use a hoyer lift) she would tell one staff to leave in the middle of the transfer to toilet a different resident, but would NOT stay to help the remaining staff to finish the transfer causing care to be incomplete or done unsafely.lastly she refused to show staff where to find a mop and suggested that they were going to "start problems" for trying to mop up urine that was on the floor.This women does not have all her marbles left and human resources does NOT care.I dont care what agency someone is from this behavior from a supervisor is unhygienic and unacceptable.

Horrible, uncaring! They underserve the population they're supposed to service. They put zero measures in place to deal with behavioral issues instead they put restrictions on the patient. They constantly threatened to refuse seeing the patient. They should be investigated for failing to attend to the needs of a developmentally disabled patient.

They canceled my dance tonight, it is no god. I will look for my new dance program in Aventura, Florida next year or so.

The caregivers who work at AHRC make a wage of around 11.00 They are responsible for peoples toileting,, and medication and lift people etc. AHRC should be ashamed of themselves. How good care do you think people receive in such a situation. Anyone who has any kind of education and self respect will leave quickly leaving the desperate and ANGRY behind.

My job. They hold you down when the going gets rough.

Wonderful organization located in Brookville NY. There are several buildings on this beautiful property all dedicated to serving disabled individuals. The grounds are immaculately kept and the buildings are in good shape. There are 2 schools for disabled children on the property along with a corporate building. There are also two playgrounds and a swimming pool with changing rooms. Fantastic organization.

It is a scam it destroys people future everybody lie people there don't do there job bugs toxins unsafe environment and in it is not a school it is a daycare type setting ahrc organization mixed high functioning people with slow autistic mentally challenge people and during the day there do not give no life skills you sit in a unsafe toxic classroom and don't do nothing you watch movies and play games all day and there take you out in the community and shop and come back to the classroom and don't do anything but during things that don't make sense and the staff don't help there dust do what ever there want and don't care this place don't set you for no future are this place do is destroyed life's and the building is unsafe toxics old building full of dirty bugs are over the place this agency is very very bad don't send your child to this place because your child life will be on the line this place is unsafe and you will benefit nothing this place don't set you for success it set you for failure and you will accomplished nothing because when the old students gradurate when there turn 21 years old there don't have no future because when the students went there when there was younger the staff don't set are prepare them for success are a future the staff dust do what ever there want let the students watch tv all day the staff take the students out to shop and to fake job sites and when the students come back from the fake job sites there go back to the classroom and watch tv and do fake work the staff is out of order the staff take the baby work and throw it in the garbage the staff and the ahrc organization is truly out of order and needs to be shutdown

They do amazing work and I really enjoy volunteering here.
