AHR is a great company. I had a issue with my AC and had two companies that my Home Warrenty company sent out fix it. Both companies failed to fix the problem. AHR caame out and fixed it no problem. 2 years later I had to replace my unit cause it was 20 years old. I used AHR again for that and was very happy with their service and price for a new unit. Their Employees are very friendly and do great work. They even put on covers for their shoes when I told them it was not needed since my floors are wood. I also have them come out twice a year just for AC check ups. Great Company, use them and you will be happy with their service.

Positive expierence , very hard to find a good company, have had a lot of bad expierence since moving to Arizona, AHR mechanical has been very good so far Leigh, Jeff and Darold.
Nate spent a lot of time cleaning our filters and adjusting our A/Cs. He also adjusted the vents in the master bath to even out the airflow. He was very courteous and friendly as well.

I have a service plan with another air condition company and they were out to fix my heater 3 times and they failed each time to fix my rooftop heater. I called Michael Jagoda, Manager of AHR Mechanical services Inc.and they came out within a hour of my call and found my problem and fixed it right away. I am 81 years old and it was very cold outside and he was very honest and did not charge me. I will definitly use this company in my future and buy next aircondition/heater pak from them to install.
I LOVE AHR Mechanical. I've been with them for years now and they've been amazing. Unlike other services, they have excellent customer service, come during the scheduled time, fix everything the first time, etc. They are friendly, professional, and great at what they do. Had Chris and Chris out today for an AC system inspection. I had been having difficulties maintaining temperature on the hot days. I told them that I was considering putting in a new system, so they kept there maintenance recommendations to a minimum with that in mind. They added refrigerant which seemed to have immediate results. They also provided me with alternatives should I decide to replace the system. Both Chris's were courteous and competent. I now consider AHR my AC guys.

These guys are great! They come - even on weekends - and diagnose the problem correctly - always a good fix, and always (so far, fingers crossed) very inexpensive to fix. I have an air conditioner that is 18 years old, so I am always expecting the worst - so far it hasn't happened. They are building trust with me for the inevitable day I need the AC replaced! We Have been using AHR Mechanical for several years. They are always professional, courteous and timely. Mike and Danold recently took care of us on a Saturday when my main A/C went out hours before out of town relatives were arriving. They had me up and running in an hour even though they had to order parts for the permanent repair the following week.
After 17 years, our heat pump needed replacing instead of high-dollar fixes each year. That was OUR choice, not sales pressure from the tech who had come out a week before for an annual check-up of the system. We had a choice between heat pump brands & units within the brands, & were told the differences among them - again, OUR choice, no sales pressure. We really appreciated that approach. The install date was arranged, & 2 young men arrived within the quoted time frame. These technicians were very pleasant & considerate, as are ALL of the employees of AHR that I've dealt with since 2005. At that time I was taken aback by AHR's prices until the owner explained that they were not the lowest nor the highest, but the quality & service were top-notch. After all these years, AHR has proved itself many times over & I trust them.
Chris and Mike arrived promptly to do our Fall check up. They were both professional and friendly. They even cleaned our clothes dryer vent which was greatly appreciated. We have used AHR for 25 years now and are very happy with their services.
Facing the 'Summer of COVID' with an AC system that was almost 25 years old, I made the decision to seek replacement of my AC/Heating system. Although not the least expensive, AHR did indeed install an excellent system, and they worked with us to help my wife and me 'fine tune' the system to our individual needs. Although we have lived in Scottsdale for 16 years, this has been our first summer season here in Arizona. I must say that the efficiency of the new TRANE system has helped us keep energy costs at a reasonable level. We were very fortunate to have been referred to AHR by a friend. We wanted to have our air conditioning system inspected for any defects or inefficiencies. The service we received was nothing less than excellent. The technician, Adam, called to confirm our appointment and showed up on time. He did a very thorough job, including inspecting all the vents, the "handler" and duct work in the attic, and the condenser unit outside. He took his time and explained everything he was doing as he did it. We were very pleased with the service and will definitely be using AHR in the future.

After of having the same units work for our house for 27 years it was time to replace both of them instead of putting a band aid on them and waste the money I decided have them replaced. I wasn't sure who I should have replace them so I asked my neighbor and he referred me to AHR Mechanical. I'm glad I chose AHR they are very thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, honest ,would I use them again ?YES ! Would I refer them to other people YES ! They did everything they said they would and more. We have been with AHR for about a year and they are amazing! The first tech (sorry I forgot his name) who did the a/c tuneup offered (and thankfully did not push) suggestions for preventative maintenance. The second tech, Derek, did our heater tuneup this fall and he was nice and efficient and was great with our nosey dog.
Today (12/30) we had Chris come out because something was wrong with our water heater. He was knowledgeable and patient with me while I asked all sorts of questions. He was able to show me what was wrong, and unfortunately it s nothing that can be fixed so he called in a new unit right away so we could get it installed in the morning. We appreciate his concern for our baby (and toddler) not having hot water, so we are grateful for him putting this in as a priority.

Came back to AZ in mid october to find my AC outside component inoperative. No fan, no cooling Called AHR who have serviced our systems in the past. Same day service easily arranged. The guys soon found the trouble to be chewed wires inside the compartment. Once the wire repaired also noted slightly less than optimal cooling probably due to dirty coils and possibly low freon. They suggested to ride with the repair and leave a comprehensive service to the spring. They will remind us with a call in the spring. Good experience as usual. Thanks
We needed to replace our air conditioner, we carefully searched out info on new units. We had service people come by with their presentation. We finally settled on AHR and Trane. They did a very quick and tidy install. They have been doing a checkup service for the last 10 years. We continue to be very pleased with their service.

AHR has always made sure our AC unit is running in tip top shape. Their technician Chris has been out the last few times and has always been prompt and professional. He very clearly stated how our unit is running and even took some pictures to bring down to show us what he looked at and what he did. I would recommend this company for any heating/cooling needs

Leigh B of AHR recently installed a Nest Thermostat after a local company, offering to install one for free, was unable to do it. The other company said we needed to rewire the thermostat to the tune of $800! Leigh determined we could use the current wiring - not an issue! Service was fast, easy and professional. The Nest is operating as expected. We have been Cactus Club members for about 7 years - excellent, honest service. I would highly recommend them!!!

I have to add this to my review below: Christian just came out to do a check up on my air conditioner and work on my evap that would not power on. I could not be more pleased with his expertise. He found the issue with the evap, ordered the parts and setup a service date. During his visit I encountered a medical issue, he was extremely concerned, went above and beyond to help me and reported my issue to management. Shortly after Christian left, I get a call from AHR's owner to check on me, not my air conditioner, but me.... how great is that???!

I usually get the same technician that takes of my units. This is nice because they know the history of the units and the problems if any. I love their maintenance plan which includes bi-yearly checkups and discounts on repairs and services.
I have 2 homes being serviced by AHR and they even take care of my evaporative cooler if it has problems.

I had the pleasure of working with AHR Mechanical Services for two installation projects recently (personal home and place of business). Chris Reeves came in and within 20 minutes had our problem identified. After studying it for a while found a "Cap" needed to be replace instead of a compressor! That was quite a remarkable savings to us. Also he suggested we have the drain pan replaced due to rust, install a float valve and level our unit in the attic. All that would not have had to be done if the unit would have been properly installed. We have not be in the house long and our house is only 3 & 1/2 years old. I would recommend these guys to anybody that asked.
