Best dental experience I ve had. Receptionist was so kind and informative, dental assistant was cheerful and assuaged my concerns of dental exams. The doctor was kind and answered all of my questions with patience. I think my fear of the dentist is cured!
I'm always happy with my experience with Dr. Johnson and the staff and Aesthetic Dental Associates. Dr. Johnson is especially sensitive to my comfort during dental work and does great job in explaining the risks associated with recommended work.
There are no words I could say about this place. They exceeded my expectations and then some!!! I was deathly afraid of going not anymore. We had a great experience with Doctor Johnson and the amazing staff in the office. We live in Philadelphia and visited Seattle on our way back from Hawaii where our nine years old daughter broke her front tooth paddle boarding. Doctor Johnson s practice took us in for an appointment first thing in the morning on the day we got to Seattle. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. The team was friendly and made our daughter feel comfortable. Doctor Johnson did a wonderful job attaching the broken piece and restored the tooth. His level of professionalism and the way he built a relationship of trust with our daughter were outstanding and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for all your help!

Dr Hurliman and Dr Johnson got me in really fast when I was having some weird stuff going on in my mouth. They both examined me and determined i had a thrush infection and put my mind at ease about oral cancer fears. They were very thorough and friendly as well. I'll definitely be coming back (as a matter of fact I am going back next week). Top notch!
Great dental office with excellent doctors and staff! My husband and I have both been to see Dr. Johnson and Dr. Hurliman during the COVID pandemic. I have always been impressed with the level of cleanliness of the office, but they have found ways to improve it even further.

Update 1, post-op: For context, I am a stroke survivor, and have PTS replaying to sensations of numbness, and what could be described as excessive nerve sensitivity on my left side.
Dr. Johnson and his co-pilot Melanie are OUTSTANDING! I knew I was in a safe space, and was calm when I arrived, even my blood pressure stayed normal. We stepped through a few procedural notes, and started the IV sedation - this was a 4 hour procedure. For me, it was flawless; if I flinched, it was quickly acknowledged, and resolved. I could hear the conversation, but the words didn t raise a response from me. As the procedure wrapped up, I became more responsive, and Dr. Johnson provided some insights.
Next, Melanie took the controls with her incredible abilities to fashion my temporary crown - she is simply AMAZING! Clearly communicates, responds with compassion, and adamant that all you questions have clear answers for you, and your care provider for the day (spouse/friend).
All I can say, is thank you.

I needed a Dentist in Seattle, and had last minute work that I needed to squeeze in before the end of the year (deep clean and filling replacement). The team at Aesthetic Dental Associates were extremely professional, welcoming, and efficient (oh, and funny as well). I'm completely satisfied and will be going back for future dental needs.

Best experience going to the Dentist I've had. Everyone was very friendly and provided excellent care. Dr. Alex was extremely caring and informative. He performed the dental cleaning himself and gave me a very detailed, thorough explanation of my comprehensive dental evaluation and all my options. He was very patient, for both appointments, despite me being 10-15 minutes late for my first two appointments! Highly recommend. Great care and speedy service, and very gentle and patient with procedures. I've had tramautic experiences with dentists in the past and have anxiety when I go to the dentist. I had my teeth cleaned by the hygienist, Kelsey and had a wonderful experience! She was very gentle and thorough as well as kept asking if I was comfortable and made sure everything was going smoothly on my end of things. I then had an appointment with Dr. Johnson and his assistant, Melanie who helped fix a chipped tooth that now looks good as new. They were efficient and made my experience great. Wow. These two dentists, the front staff, the dental assistance, they are all amazing. Truly. I deal with a lot of anxiety going to the dentist so I ve been putting it off for years and found myself in a place where I needed A LOT of work done. I went to, I kid you not, 4 dentists before coming here and those places were rude, judgy, uncomfortable, made me feel like I was a burden and basically made my anxiety like 100x worse because all they saw was someone who hadn t been to the dentist and how ridiculous that is and how I must not want my teeth then! (Seriously, one of the dentists, straight up asked me that. I couldn t believe it. OF COURSE I WANT MY FREAKIN TEETH) They could see how I had found myself in this place because of dentists like them. So finally when I got to this place and from the beginning, the receptionist was kind and funny and helpful and then the dental assistant was right away suuuuper kind and was actually like, I know it was hard to come in but you did it and that s pretty amazing and I m so glad you did and we are here if you need a break or some water or anything. And then the dentist, Dr. Hurlinman didn t run away or scold me when he saw my X-rays!!! He listened to me, he told me what the best course of action was, he was super chill, kind, funny, and most of all DIDN T make me feel like a bad person and didn t make me feel like I was a burden. Dr. Johnson also came and did a consult and was the ONLY dentist who ever was able to tell me what could be done about two teeth that I had some specific issues with and had seen a few specialists about. None of them have ever made me feel ridiculous or bad for my anxiety. NONE of the staff. In fact, they go above and beyond to help me feel as comfortable as possible.
I do not like going to the dentist. It is always a hard day when I have to go. But if I have to go, I wanna to go to this dentist. Thank you Dr. Hurlinman and Dr. Johnson and Sharon, and Robin, and the rest of the staff. I appreciate you more than you will ever know.
I moved to Seattle 3 years ago and never found a dentist that worked with my schedule. I finally made an effort to search for one that had great reviews and had doctors I could trust. I called and they immediately had me scheduled within 3 hours for a consultation, cleaning, etc.
The moment I entered the office I was greeted by the friendliest staff. I finished my appointment and ended up needing further work done. Within 10 minutes the administrative staff was calling my insurance team to ensure I had a full understanding of my coverage and provided me with options.
I cannot say enough about how incredible this team was and how comfortable I was every step of the way. Excited to finally have found my dentist here in Seattle!
These guys are amazing. Seriously. I had a last minute dental emergency when traveling to Seattle for work, and my coworker is a regular patient so he called and they got me in immediately (with only 15 minutes before they were due to close) fixed my issue very quickly to relieve the crippling pain I had been dealing with, and then didn't even charge me! From the staff to the dentists everyone was wonderful and mostly I'm just sad they aren't in my hometown!

The filling make me painful when bite hard things. But the staff was trying hard to make it right.
I was very nervous about having my dental work done. I put it off for years! Dr. Johnson and his dental assistant did an excellent job. It wasn't as painful as I'd anticipated! Also, not a lot of swelling!! They made it a positive experience. I'm sure my anxiety was far worse than the actual work. I'm glad I got it done and glad I chose Dr. Johnson!

Efficiency, kindness and great cleaning very positive experience.
This was a great experience. I had a bad tooth, suspected a root canal was necessary and I wanted it ASAP. Dr. Alex Hurliman did the initial exam, tested to confirm the diagnosis and did the root canal on the spot. I was lucky and a very happy this was resolved so quickly.
I have done gum deep cleaning by two doctors. Heather is very good, she's caring, gentle, always giving clear instructions; unfortunately Judy wasn't as good, she doesn't give any instructions, the result turned out to be very bad, I feel a lot discomfort during and after the treatment, further more, one spot after her treatment has been bleeding on and off for about a month. Now I'll stick with Heather in the future.
Cleaning was thorough and comfortable. It was impressive that they noticed one tooth (24) had the gum being pulled which caused a loss or recessed gum.
Dr. Johnson was able to clear schedule and use laser to cut muscle pulling on the gum. To date, pain is modest and should heal quickly...

Awful experience. Unprofessional and the quality of work of Dr. Johnson is appalling. I look like I've got a yellow thing of playdoh bolted to the side of a tooth for a cavity filling, it's not even remotely close to the rest of the tooth color. I'd shudder to think what their actual "cosmetic dentistry" looks like if they can't do the simple things. I'm going to have to go to another dentist to shave off the filling as it literally juts over my bottom teeth as well, messing up my bite pattern and digging into my cheek. His assistant is rude, makes disparaging comments as soon as you've met her, repeatedly tries to upsell you on unnecessary cosmetic procedures, literally punched me in the face trying to do x-rays (didn't apologize at all), dropped the bite-plate and didn't resterlize it, had to redo my x-rays twice, since she was in another patients file, which I'm sure she didn't go back and delete. When it came time to pay for these delightful visit, they attempted to charge me for two cavities despite my xray only showing one and only one being filled. Frustrating, painful, unprofessional and all around a horrible experience. Use another dentist unless you want a frankenstein, yellow, bolt on for a cavity filling.

My cleanings are great and I am able to schedule a time that's convenient for me. If you look for quick, clean and healthy teeth I would recommend this place. I called in first thing in the morning due to a dental emergency. I have never been seen here before the my squeezed me in and took such great care of me. I was very impressed with the safety procedures/PPE attire of Doctor and nurse during a crown lengthening procedure and the careful creation of a temporary crown while collaborating with the crown maker who came to the office to work with Dr Johnson s team. The temporary crown was an amazing match and given the photos and care taken by the crown maker, on site, I am sure the permanent crown will be beautiful.
As an aside, I was so relaxed during the procedure I actually fell asleep. Doctor J and his team make even an implant painless. Trish W.
