Zero Precision, Zero Customer Service

Update 9/6/19 Still haven t received a refund, it s almost been 2 months. After shipping back the faulty products, they shipped replacements (which I told them multiple times I wanted a refund), was told to keep them and they ll refund me, then they decided they want it back so I can be refunded. Why does this have to be so hard??? Like their products their service shows they truly don t care.

7/16/19 Forgot my buffer kit in my initial order and took an additional week to get to me. Finally got it all together, fired about 60 rounds and after taking the gun apart to clean it surprise! My buffer had horrible deep dents on the face of it. Upon closer examination the rear face of the BCG was not completely smooth with two Very tiny sharp little points on each side of the channel cut to avoid the buffer retention pin. After a short phone call I was directed to the website to complete a ticket for my complaint. Why even have someone answer if they won t help you? After a week I get a response telling me they d like to take a look at it. I would prefer a refund so maybe next week they ll get back to me about my request.

Love their products, hate their customer service! Bought one of their handguards from their email promotion on the 1st day of the promotion. Invoiced, billed and paid on that day, invoice states 5 to 8 days for shipping.

Checked on day 6 and order showed processing. Sent a polite email asking on the status and was told "as stated in our terms and conditions it can take us three to five business days to process orders. Your order is in the shipping department."

Fantastic! I replied on day 9 thanking them for the update and got the following response on day 10, "I apologize for the delay as we were waiting for the handguards to come back from coating, This order will ship out today or tomorrow." Wait...... is the shipping department in charge of coating??

Today (day 11) I called and managed to get through to a CS Rep to find out what the real deal was. I was told, after pointing out the discrepancies in the 2 emails that my order would ship today via USPS economy ground. Which if I'm lucky will arrive here on the East coast in about a week. Making 18 days (15 business days) for the product to arrive. A far cry from the 5 ~ 8 provided at the time of ordering for a product that was purchased on day one of the promotion.

TL:DL - don't believe shipping estimates, take emails with a grain of salt as they appear to be scripted responses and buy from their resellers and not from their website.

It has taken over 2weeks just for aero to get in touch with my local ffl.....I paid for 2day shipping fyi...and then they still said it would take 5 days to process, plus the shipment time.....they wouldn't even upgrade the shipping for my inconvenience.....possibly a month to mail me a lower? Unreal.. never again, complete waste of time due to aero's incompetence.

I ve now built several Aero Rifles with their products and I can t say enough good things about their products or their people. Products are on point, options are amazing and the customer service is top notch. If you haven t tried out their stuff, definitely give them a shot.

I have received the wrong items more than once and they charge me a re stock fee to send it back. Customer service is rude and very short with people. They let you pay for fast shipping and I m going on my 5th build from them and next to never have I received my stuff on time, not to mention that aero doesn t always send their emails out with the tracking #. Over all not a good company to buy from, I personally will be going to BCM from now on. I tried to stick with this company and let them make things right but that has never even been attempted, just so rude all the way around.

Aero Precision makes extremely high quality products. I have several rifles I built using their upper and lowers. Fit and finish are excellent. I am also an FFL Dealer. I have sold quite a few stripped lowers. All my customers have been extremely happy with them. All my future builds will be with Aero Precision and Ballistic Advantage barrels.

Aero consistently puts out products that are not only some of the nicest but come in at a price point that makes them hands down the best value in ARs. The features they offer truly benefit the builder/user rather than just being some gimmicky way to push parts on an unknowing consumer. Their Balistic advantage and VG6 brands also offer some of the best products in the game. One of my favorite combos is a 18" BA spr fluted barrel, a vg6 gamma, and atlas handgaurd with a heavy dose of other aero parts scattered throughout. One of the softest shooting and most accurate rifles I've ever handled and it eats up everything from the cheapest ammo to my precision hand loads with ease.

Products and turn around times are excellent HOWEVER their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I had a lower receiver shipped to an incorrect FFL by some mistake of the online ordering system even though they managed to receive the email address of the correct FFL. Since it was shipped to an FFL outside of my state of residence, this product will have to be shipped to a different FFL in my state of residence for me to pick up. This results in additional shipping costs and FFL transfer fees that Aero Precision refuses to cover. They would not take ownership of the mistake or even show the slightest bit of sympathy when I talked to the customer service rep and their respective manager. I have been a fan of Aero Precision products however their customer service has been abysmal. I do want to reiterate that their products are some of the best on the market for the price and I have several Aero builds that I love. But from this experience, don't expect them to work with you when issues arise.

The problem Aero Precision is, that they make, for the money, the best sporting rifles in the world, AND THEY KNOW IT! I had to wait so long on my first try to purchase my AR 10 build (that showed in stock on their web site) that I paid more and got it though Gun Broker. If I owned a business that had the reputation for quality products that Aero does, I would do what ever it took to get my customer service and production up to that same level. JMO.

Received a M5E1 upper receiver/M Lok handguard combo with the upper not completely machined at the rear lug preventing the recievers from fully closing and the rear take down pin from going through.The package was also missing the barrel nut wrench the web site says it comes with.Documented it with photos and it was acknowledged by their rep.They told me they would send me a return label and wanted the out of spec receiver back before they would send me an new one and that they weren't going to send the wrench,their in Tacoma,Wa,Im on the east coast,it will be a 2 1/2 to 3 week turn around for something I already paid for.They flat out refused my request for 2 day priority mail,and the wrench.NO INTEGRITY

Ordered magpul str stock on 12/17 and package got lost with usps. Had to call multiple times for them send a new one out which they did fed ex. I got my package today 1/14 thought the box looked weird I opened it up to find a 40 round magazine not a stock. Still waiting on someone to get back to me

Very nice products... BUT THE SLOWEST ORDER PROCESSING IN THE BUSINESS. Way too slow on shipping. After 9 days from placing my order which showed still in process, the representative said he could not understand why it had not shipped yet. It still took them 2 extra days for shipping.

I built a 6.5 creedmoor using a Ballistic Advantag...

I built a 6.5 creedmoor using a Ballistic Advantage receiver set and ordered an Atlas 15" rail from Aero for the build. (BA is a subsidy of Aero) They were all of the DPMS high pattern. When I was fitting the barrel, the gas tube groove and the gas tube port didn't align. There wasnt a shim kit included with the barrel nut/handguard which was a little disheartening. The shim kit on the AP website was also on backorder and couldnt be found anywhere on a secondary market.

However, I messaged the customer service department the next morning asking if there was anywhere else where I could find the shim kit, and received a reply within 15 mintues of my initial message. Within an hour(and 3 emails), Aero sent the kit free of charge and 2 day to get it to me.

Built this gun Fall 2016'. Weight with red dot and light, but without magazine, is 7.0 lbs. Over 700 rounds, mostly run n' gun. No issues, whatsoever.

Was a little disappointed with instock conditions, ending up settling with a very nice complete upper, but was willing to pay the extra for what I really wanted. Shipping didn't take long, and the quality is amazing, they do great work. I will def use them again! Do your research yourself, they do have some opportunities on customer service response times. However if you can wait and pay, you will be impressed with the product.

Maybe it s time to evaluate your staffing levels if you re having this much trouble putting an item in a bubble mailer and slapping a shipping label on it. Seems like this has been an ongoing issue for at least the last year from reading the other reviews.

I've always purchased Aero Precision parts and they are good quality. However, for my most recent purchase, I ordered 2 handguards directly from Aero Precision. At a glance, everything was good. Upon close examination, one handguard had a small nick on it. Contacted customer service by phone and was told to take pictures and email it in for a 25% blemished discount. Sent pictures in and was told that the pictures don't show enough details. Was told that I had to process a RMA and send it in for inspection, shipping is out of my pocket. Customer service is terrible with this company. You have lost a loyal customer for life.

Great product but customer service what a joke! I ordered a m-lok handguard gas block and tube. Website says will email you when it ships with tracking information. On day 7 no information so sent a email to see if they shipped are what's going on. It took a day to get back and was told that there was no record of of my transaction to check my bank and see if I was charged! I placed my order at 523 am and credit card was charged less than 5 min later. So gave them a nice email telling them that they changed my card the Same day as I ordered it. This was on a Friday so didn't expect to hear back till Monday but nothing no email phone call nothing! When I get home after work there's a notice from ups that I had a package from areo llc that needs a signature. After checking the tracking number found out it shipped on day 6 emailed day 7 and was told there was no record of my transaction. They make a nice product but do yourself a favor and order from outside vendors

Extremely slow shipping for in stock parts (3+ weeks for LPK and buffer kit). They seem unable to move orders made despite immediately charging for said orders. Customer service was only capable of quoting their current number of orders, and asking for more time to ship.

I have used areo precision parts in all my builds with the greatest satisfaction. Well worth any wait! and highly advise others to use them. I have never had an issue with their products or customer service. I will continue to support areo precision.

This has been a nightmare experience. I ordered a lower receiver and upper receiver on 1/18; both were in stock and expected to ship 3-5 days later. 5 days later I had not received a confirmation email so i began sending email to customer service for help. No replies back. I eventually get someone on the phone and they told me things were running behind and my parts should ship 10 days from my purchase date. OK, annoying they charged my credit card the day I placed the order but guess I understand.

10 days after my purchase date no shipping confirmation...I start calling and leaving voice mails as well as messaging without getting a hold of anyone for a few days. Customer service tells me they are sorry and they forgot about my order. they give me 10% refund and tell me they will ship my lower that day and my upper will ship the next Monday because they need to build it still; both will be sent 2 day air. Sounds OK, annoying but at this point i got 10% off so I am not to pissed.

Well 2 days go by and no shipping confirmation. Figured I would give them another day, and still no shipping confirmation. I left another voicemail and email and no reply. 4 days go by and i called until someone picked up. My order was lost again. My lower was boxed up but never sent and my upper has not been built. at this point it has been 14 working days. 20 calendar days. I have still not received a shipping confirmation and do not see them shipping my order for a few more days at the earliest. They told me they have no intention of compensating me for losing my order the second time and the customer service rep talks to me as if I am am idiot for being annoyed about this. This company must be run by a bunch of clowns.

Summary: Poor Customer Service (lies, excuses and delays). The only reason they get a 2 star instead of a 1 is because their firearms are good quality. Took 26 days to ship, and they gave me the wrong Fedex tracking information. In the future I will never again order from their customer direct option, as atleast with a dealership I can hold them accountable.

I ordered a very expensive order, mind you it was not a very complex order, it was a complete purchase of parts to build an AR10. Everything I ordered was in stock at the time of purchase. However, after two weeks of waiting, I began to wonder why it had not shipped. I reached out to customer service who told me that the size of my order meant it would take just a little longer, but guaranteed me it would ship out that week. A week passed and my order did not ship so I called customer service, and was told that my order did not ship and had been sitting on the side for the last three weeks waiting for a single part (the butt stock), which tells me that they also lied to me when I initially reached out to customer service. After asking to speak to a manager, I was told that the butt stock was caused by a glitch in their system. They were able to replace the butt stock with a different model and my order finally shipped after 26 days. However, I thought it was weird that my tracking information showed up as information not available, I thought it might be a glitch with fedex, but finally called in after 2 weeks to ask about it. I come to find out, they did in fact provide a wrong tracking number and my rifle was delivered 2 days after it was shipped. I wasted my time driving to the dealer because it turns out they are on vacation. I called back to complain to get the familiar excuse that it was a computer error. In the future I will be ordering directly with a dealer, and not utilize their customer direct services.

I placed an order on something that they had in stock and it took 5 weeks to ship. The quality not their products is some of the best that I have worked with and used. So after reading a few bad reviews I felt it was important to give my humble opinion. Im a gun enthusiasts, I enjoy competing in 3 gun competitions, and enjoy building guns (P80's to AR's). I have purchased enough product from Aero Precision to make several AR15's and an AR9. I have never had an issue with their products and from all the research I have found on the internet is that they are one of the leading manufactures of gun parts with a great reputation, which is the only reason I feel comfortable with Aero Precision brands. Along with top quality products their online chat services are extremely helpful in answering any type of question while the staff members are over the top helpful and will give you the answer your looking for and pointed in the right direction to get the parts needed. The prices are reasonable and I never hesitate to look here first before purchasing any AR parts. They also give a 10% military discount (which I have takes advantage off several times with no issues) which makes the deal even better. As far as shipping and in stock items, get in the mindset that ordering ANY gun parts from ANY online gun website will not be as fast as Amazon Prime and with all the panic buyers and the economy shutting down makes it difficult for ALL companies to make enough stock and keep it on hand. Overall this is my personal experience I have had with Aero Precision over several months and they are consistently awesome with the best gun parts, customer service and pricing.

In 2017 it is ridiculous for it to take 3-5 to acknowledge your order and several more days to get it shipped. If you have so much business that you are behind 1-2 weeks, then hire more people. Paying for next day air to get parts we need right now doesn't help us one bit if it takes you over a week to ship the parts. I think businesses like this have no incentive to do a better job because they have fantastic parts that a lot of people want.

BAD customer service. Ordered a $216 trigger from Aero Precision and never received it. Customer service said they could not help. USPS customer service is worse than Aero's. Unless a USPS miracle happens, I am out $216. Ordering from Aero Precision is like playing roulette with your money. Wish I could have given a rating of less than one star.

As they put it there's no way its our fault, you must have done something major to it. Which as I explained it came out of a box into a safe "PERIOD"

This gun has never been fired. Never seen the field. I haven't even had it for 30 days. Which apparently my issue was that I didn't notice it the day I opened the box.

I think the better question is, why is the rail so weak that it would crack? Is this a common issue? Do I even want your product if it breaks so easy? Where is the reliability? Where is the good craftsmanship?

These guys have the worst customer service on the face of the planet. They would not take a completely unused COP upper back for Exchange even though it was never used once. Now I have a $400 paperweight. Thought I would try something different but I should've gone with Mega Arms like usual. Just know when you buy from these guys you will wait a ridiculously long time to get your parts and don't plan on returning it. Thanks for nothing Aero Precision I'll never be back.

Every experience I've had with Aero Preicision has been very pleasant and professional, including in person at shooting competitions and trade shows. They provide excellent customer service and actually listen to customers and their recommendations. The products they produce are top quality, from my 3 gun competition rifle to my long range AR10, everything performs above and beyond my expectations. They are huge supporters of the shooting sports, the military, and the second amendment. I will be an Aero Precision fan for life.

This was my second order from Aero Precision. I have had no problems with there shipping. I received both of my orders 5 days after placing the order online. So far the fit and finish seems good on both the uppers and lowers. The gas block fits a little looser on my Bear Creek barrel then a Yankee Machine gas block. I would buy from them again.

Have brought a stripped lower m5 receiver with a stripped upper receiver from aero. Also bought all aero parts to build lower receiver. Also bought a 15 Handguard (aero) from a local gun shop. They package it wrong with a Armalite barrel nut when it clearly says on box that it is a dpms barrel nut. So I have been back and forth with aero and they said there is nothing they can do about it, that I need to take it back to local gun shop. So needless to say just spent another 40$ for the right barrel nut after giving 200$ for the Handguard. This will be last purchase from aero precision horrible customer service

Don't waste your money on the Cerikote models. I bought a builder kit from a reputable online dealer. When I got it home it had obvious coating defects and they did not want to Warranty the set. I had to exchange the set and pay 2x FFL fees.

Using their help desk ticket system it took a month of back and forth with a 2 week gap of no response on their part to come to the conclusion that they were not going to help. I'm glad I did not need these for something I was in a hurry to build.

No customer service, no common sense. Was sold a defected product that it took 20 days to get it replaced, and the replacement that came in was in a far worse condition that the original item. Individual handling my return is completely clueless and tries to tell me that the defects are not as bad as I think they are... Last I checked I was paying full price for "high quality product" so why would I want to agree to keep something that doesn't meet my expectations. In addition to above mentioned order, I placed two more orders - boy do I regret that decision... First order came in within couple of days, but packaging inside of the shipping container looked like it blew up, all lower receiver parts were just loose in the envelope - I hope all of those little springs and pins are still there. Second order I placed 8 days ago and it still wasn't shipped. Eight days later after they charged my card, the items had not shipped yet... I try very hard to buy American Made but unfortunately, stuff from China would have been here by now. I'm very tempted at this point to return everything (God willing I get the refund sometime in this century) and go somewhere where my business is appreciated.

On December 7th I placed a rather large order for my small business with Chris and he told me they had everything I wanted ready to go and it would only take a few days to ship. Today December 18th they still have not shipped despite being personally guaranteed by Chris that they would ship first thing on the 18th. I have to dispute the charges with my credit card company due to aero precision not answering the phone or returning emails. How hard is it to put parts in a box and slap a shipping label on them? Disappointing that people can't just be honest with they're shipping times. Had he just said "hey man we are really busy and your order is going to take a little longer so please be patient" I would have responded differently.

I have never experienced such horrible customer service. We signed up as a dealer with this company received our initial order terms then every time we went to order our salesman would change what we had been told. this happened several times then he just deleated our account. Had a chance to talk to the company at The Shot Show and got a completely different story. I told them how aweful and dishonest Andrew was and then had the opportunity to tell him in person. Of course he couldnt remember anything that was said. It was unfortunante because the company had some great products. Hopefully you will have a heads up about this salesman if you come across him. Maybe he is an owner or related to one of them.

All too often great companies end up with skewed reviews because folks that are happy don't take the time to say so. Sadly it has become easier to complain than to give a well-earned pat on the back.

I have been a purchaser/user of Aero products for nearly a decade. Over that time I have found their quality to be outstanding and find myself purchasing their products time and time again.

Any company that does the volume they do, or that partners with third parties to offer unique and special items (such as their cerakoted builder sets) will naturally find something that doesn't match their quality standards. A scuff mark on a parkerized ejection port cover doesn't qualify as "a major defect" (especially since it can be rubbed off with your thumb), but some folks think so and react that way. It's all about expectations I guess.

Aero's a great company filled with hard-working folks who enjoy making good products. If you find yourself in the market and are considering giving them your business, I'd encourage you to give them a try.

Ordered a complete upper 5/6. Almost 4 weeks later still in "Processing" phase. Just doesn't make me feel confident, more of less worried if I'm even gonna receive it. So quick to take the money though.

EDIT: I called them and they squared me up right away, just wish their communication was better.

Ordered a lower for my build this year right before all the craziness in June. Still arrived in a reasonable timeline and is very good quality. I will add the communication of many gun sellers has been overwhelmed this this year but emailing them and messaging them was a very direct response. Thank you guys for the awesome products!

Customer Service is terrible! They have been jerking me around on an order for over four weeks! They never once reached out to me when there was an issue,I had to call continuously and they didn't even tell me what the problem was! My FFL had to call them to figure out what the delay was! Now they tell me they don't have anymore in stock so they can send me a blemished lower or wait two more weeks! Avoid this company at all costs! Absolutely terrible buying experience!
