Greek restaurant with a fantastic view of the port of Loutraki (recommended at sunset). Very tasty typical local dishes and very helpful and easy-going staff and at the end of the dinner they always offer a homemade dessert and grappa.
It certainly deserves a stop!

The best view specially if you want to see sunset. We stay few days in the hotel first time and I was amazed by the good food, excellent decoration and hospitality but extremely clean and service. The owners did such a grate job and we were very pleased. If you really want to feel Greek hospitality you have to visit them. High recommend!

Great location on a slope with a fantastic view of the harbor and the opposite Skiathos. Great location for a dinner at sunset. You are sitting in a beautifully landscaped garden.
Very good food for reasonable prices.
The way up from the harbor was worthwhile, anytime again.

The food was very good. The scorpion fish soup, the octopus stew, everything. There was something about the blue ambient lights in the restaurant that makes me give it 4 stars instead of 5 - it somehow ruined the very cozy atmosphere. Great place for sunsets though!

We were planning to stay at Aegean Wave Hotel in Skopelos for 4 nights, but we were so pleased with the hotel that we decided to extend our stay for 2 extra nights. The lovely couple that own the hotel, went above and beyond to satisfy our needs and make our stay as pleasant as possible. They even helped us rent a boat in the port of Glossa and also rent a car.

In regards to the room, it was super clean and the view was amazing as you can see from the picture. The hotel has also a great restaurant where Mrs Andromahi cooks local food every day. I would suggest you to try the lobster with spaghetti as well as the octopus stifado.

I would highly recommend it to everyone that wants a hotel with a great view, near to the most famous beaches in Skopelos (e.g Kastani beach), quiet, with excellent service and very friendly and kind hosts.

Really nice view, but not many vegan options. When I told the waiter (after I was asked) that I really liked the pasta, he said, "well yes, it is pasta. Pasta is always nice". Well I could have ordered something else but the salad I requested wasn't available that night.

Also, there isn't space to park not even a motorbike when it gets busy. Most spaces are for the occupants of the hotel.

REVIEW FOR FAROS RESTAURANT

REVIEW FOR FAROS RESTAURANT

Inside the Hotel is this magnificent restaurant, the Faros restaurant (just to get there just follow the signs for Aegan Wave Hotel via Google Maps).
Lovely view, only restaurant with tablecloth and cloth napkins; you can dine under a wonderful pergola with low lights and local background music that creates the right atmosphere. And then a breathtaking view of the Loutraki sea (I recommend dinner around 8pm with a sunset that makes the experience even more impressive).
Very good dishes and even more delicious welcome appetizer (local olives and home made tomato paste on toasted bread).
At the end of the dinner homemade grappa and dessert offered by the owner. Prices absolutely honest and much more in line with the rooms that can be found around here.
We liked it so much that we come back a second time.
Absolutely the best restaurant on the island.

Getting there is definitely not easy, without a vehicle it is hard.
But when you get the view on the terrace is magnificent, overlooking the port of Glossa, and if you are lucky enough to enjoy a sunset then you will be ecstatic.
We are warmly welcomed by the owner who advised and accompanied us during the evening.
We start with some appetizers, a main course each (excellent octopus), the wine they produce, while at the end of the meal we are offered the dessert and raki (local grappa).
Good service, rather attentive, great food as the local product is valued.
Great account, in 4 people we spent 93.
I recommend booking in advance to have a table on the terrace ..
It's worth getting a bit of a way to reach it

Getting there is certainly not easy, without a means of its own is hard.

Very difficult to find, elegant, romantic, panoramic place, not the usual tavern. Curated food, we tasted the octopus, very good, cooked with prunes and top fish. As for the starters, we tasted the fried zucchini balls and here I must say that they were not the best. The owner, very friendly, offered us, to conclude a sweet of the house, with plum, with a scoop of ice cream and a small bottle of an exquisite Grappa of his production, of which .. ..confesso .... we drank a couple of glasses each. The bill, although a little higher than average, absolutely normal. We accept credit cards! Recommended!

Welcoming and very friendly hospitality. As we drove in we were welcome for a drink of our choice. Comfortable accommodation with beautiful views and just the right amenities including kitchenette. Sadly, the acclaimed restaurant was closed for the season (we arrived part mid October) and we were not able to enjoy it. Another reason to return to the island

It is a small restaurant with all the family warmth! A very sweet boy welcomes you, then he arrives: a big man who already feels that he will take care of you ... he recommends the dishes of the day, but leaves you free to decide as you please. Letting myself be convinced by the reviews, I chose a Bouraki, but the cheese (for my tastes) is too intense and the spices a bit spicy. Fabulous moussaka. Red octopus (octpus) with a special sauce to dip 1/2 kilo of bread in it! The very fresh redfish, but with a broth at 180 degrees ... all for 54 euros with an offer of cake and ice cream accompanied by a briquette of grappa (this time there really ... In other restaurants they often forget!) That they leave at the table. In the family ... C. V. D.
P. S.
More unique than rare: the relaxation area for smokers to choose with or without sea view!
I didn't give 5 stars just because I plan to go back and taste the rest ... Without being conditioned! Actually no ... I give them 5 stars now because he deserves them all (including very soft napkins).
I also add the note that I had the owner give me because the telephone number published on the web corresponds to the fax
