8/13/21: Sister s skin had a terrible allergic reaction from sunscreen and some sunburn. We came to the ER at around 8pm at night. The doctor kept commenting on how bad her skin looked and made her feel even worse than she already did. She already knows how bad it looked.. and also knew how much pain she was feeling from it. So unprofessional for professionals that are supposed to be understanding and careful with every patient. The doctor barely prescribed her cream. It lasted one use for just her legs. She went back today, 8/14/21 to request a refill. Came to the pharmacy. They didn t refill it for her. Ridiculous. They don t care enough clearly.

My wife was admitted to this hospital six times before she passed the nurses are great the neurologist and radiologist should be replaced My wife begged me to take her to another hospital the last time she was admitted. I would not recommend my worst enemy go there for care. Even one starting rating is too high.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. ER NURSES DON T KNOW HOW TO PUT AN IV IN. 4 NURSES TRIED TO PUT AN IV IN MY 4 MONTH OLD AND FAILED. THEY BRUISED HIS ARM, HIS OTHER ARM WAS RED AND SWOLLEN. THEY PUT IN THE IV INCORRECT ACCORDING TO A PEDIATRIC DOCTOR.

The wait for the emergency room seemed endless. All the chairs were filled. Once I was taken in, the staff were kind, patient and extremely throughout. I am grateful.

My care, for 5 days, was impeccable! I was on cardiac floor and totally impressed with the staff who assisted me. Could have done without the 4:30am blood work tho .
All told, they were great!

To the nurses in the NICU and labor and delivery. Thank you so much. Nan, Michelle. We would have been lost without you two. Nothing in life is perfect but you made this experience the best that it could have been. I will forever be grateful to you guys for taking such amazing care of my son.

Nurses are amazing and very good and attentive at keeping patients as comfortable as they can. But the neurologists could care less what s going on and have attentive to see their patients. Been sitting for over 5 hours waiting. Find it absolutely ridiculous it can take this long for a check up...although I was already told I was being discharged.

First they stopped valet parking. I have end stage COPD. I cannot walk too far.
Now they cannot provide enough anesthesiologists.

Brought here for siezures. I had two nurses. Kristen who was absolutely amazing. I'm not sure about the other nurses name. Not that it matters. One of the rudest people I have ever met. Why get a job in care if you're going to act like that. I was in the hallway in the er which is fine but putting stickers on my chest in the hallway? I was extremely uncomfortable. This nurse is so so rice so thank you Kristen. You're an amazing nurse. Id give Kristin 100 stars if I could. I am very upset with the other nurse.

My spouse has been at Sherman for 2 weeks after a very complicated surgery and is in constant pain. She wanted to see her grandson but thought he might be afraid and confused because of her condition and asked me to stay.One of the nurses told me there were 2 people in the room and she was going to call security. I understand the concern about covid but what I don't understand is the hypocrisy. They are regulating visitors with an iron fist but there are employees who are not vaccinated. Most everyone has been really nice to me (except Jocelyn) but it think upper management makes stupid rules with no regard for the patient. St Alexis in Hoffman estates allows 2 visitors. Go there if you want management to care about you
