My Father has the 16.1 mb MP3 player made by Scandisk. There is a problem with the player not using ALL of the available memory. I have been advised BY Scandisk that RESTRICTIVE FIRMWARE IS INSTALLED BY ATG WHICH PUTS A LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF SONGS (3,800) he can put on his player. I ATTEMPTED to contact ATG at their listed phone number and was told BY THE OPERATOR that THERE WAS NOBODY I COULD TALK TO ABOUT THIS! She REFUSED to connect my call TO ANYBODY ELSE AT ALL!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!
I sent my MP-3 Player in for warranty service as it had quit taking a charge. I had purchased the player back in Dec. of 2018 and according to the warranty paperwork the Warranty was for a year. I sent it in in June of 2019 some 6-7 mos. into the said Warranty. I received it back unrepaired with NO REASON GIVEN!! I CALLED to get this action explained to me!!! The operator said she had NO ONE to transfer me to and to read my warranty over carefully, I did and found nothing other than it was to be covered for one yr. I called back and got the same response, NOTHING!!! I will be filing as claim in small claims court here in Texas and ATG can come to Texas or hire an Atty. here to defend their $89.00 player!!!! AT $ 2-5 Hundred Dollars an Hr.
Sent mp3 in to be unlocked. Got it back and it was blank. Filled complaint with BBB
