ACA/NY has changed my life for the better ,working with them has helped me tremendously!
Thank you for everything you did to help me through this process. I appreciate your support and how you always checked in on us, with kind and supportive words.
This agency is a great disappointment. My daughter has been through almost 4 workers in ln less than 2 yrs. Seems like they hire new people and change the clients life. I had a great case worker and from one day to the next, was changed. My daughter is devasted. Looking forward to changing .
Advance Care Alliance has done a phenomenal job in providing COVID-19 vaccinations for members!
When we came for my son s first shot we had to wait for a very long time on a crowded line with lots of people and could not maintain social distance. For the second shot, it was such a smooth and efficient and safe process. Clearly the first time in management was a bit off but the second time was a wonderful experience. Thank you ACA! Our son is safe because he is now fully vaccinated!
I have worked at ACA going on two years and am grateful for the opportunities it s presented me with including the opportunity for myself, the people I serve and members of my family vaccinated. I feel truly appreciated as an employee, and I believe in our mission to help and support people in our community.
So thankful to this agency who has prioritized the health and safety of members and staff alike and provided pop-up vaccination clinics for members, families and staff. Thank you ACA/NY!!
Sadly, I been with this agency for 2.5 years or so, I have not received any assistance, the worker called every month so he can bill, I am literally so disappointed that an agency like this can get away with what they are able to get away not realizing how difficult parents or caregivers have it already. These agencies get a contract to assist the community of the disabled to then make a situation that is completely difficult for them that much difficult. They should not remain open, they workers have even complained. It is not okay! I want my son out and trust me it will not take months they messed with the wrong mother!
I volunteered several vaccine clinics that ACANY coordinated for members their families and staff who volunteered. It was a great experience meeting so many of our members and families. On Long Island resources were so limited and these clinics provided opportunities for those who otherwise would have had to wait to be vaccinated. Members and families were so thankful and appreciative.
