Gorgeous building with great shows, but the pricing on the food is outrageously expensive, so I strongly advise that you eat beforehand instead of eating at the venue. The parking can also be a bit expensive and hard to find at an affordable rate.

The reason for 2 stars is the theater seats are very uncomfortable and the show started 20 minutes late. If my gf and I are here on time at the show; why should we have to wait for people that come late. You go on a cruise ship and shows are started right on time. Also everyone had to wear a mask throughout the entire show but not social distancing.
Nice presentation. Terrific concept being able to see each piece up close to appreciate the brush strokes and palette work of the art and putting into motion. Would have liked to have had an additional screen or one of the 3 screens identifying the artist and the name of the piece. VIP seating was VERY uncomfortable, plastic stools.....really? I somehow thought i saw VIP included parking...but apparently not. Don't think the extra $100 was worth a bag, mug and champagne glass. Also read it was 1 hour presentation but really 40 to 45 minutes which ok I'm not sure I could have sat on that chair another 15 minutes
Loved this place. Went June 2021 for the Lasting Impressions show. Had a fabulous time and it was a wonderful experience. All the staff was exceptional, especially are servers Pamm and Jess and our hostess, Joyce. They made our time there extra special. I highly recommend you book a show and go! :) Happy Customer.
It is such a beautiful and grand building! The staff and volunteers are polite and very helpful. They are having smaller shows but will start having bigger shows soon.
What a beautiful performing arts center nestled in the heart of Miami. We we're lucky enough to see Hamilton there for our first show and it was amazing. The volunteers and staff were all very pleasant. It doesn't appear there would be a bad seat anywhere in the house.
They have these wonderful boosters for the children or even shorter people to sit upon so you can guarantee seeing over someone tall in front of you. Valet parking was conveniently located right at the front. The only challenge is at the end of the performance, the line for vehicles was quite long and the communication was a bit poor. We were unaware we had to check in inside the venue to retrieve our vehicle.
All in all, this was a wonderful venue and we look forward to seeing more shows there.
If I heard correctly that the Arsht Center is now requiring vaccine passports or in the alternative CoVid testing three days prior to the event and proof of negative diagnosis, then you have lost some patrons for life. I am sure that hundreds, if not thousands, share our view. The absurdity of such requirements escape me but then nothing should surprise coming from the entertainment industry.
The Arsht Center is one of the best theaters I've been to and performed at. The acoustics of the place is phenomenal. Anywhere you sit inside the theater, you will be able to hear and feel the performance. The way the theater is made allows you to look at the stage perfectly.
If you are watching an orchestra concert, I don't recommend sitting in the first rows since you won't be able to admire the WHOLE orchestra. I suggest sitting further up.
The snacks are a bit expensive, but that's to be expected.
IN THE HEIGHTS - HEXED! Discouraged to provide a negative review of this gem downtown that has a prosperous history, but the matinee show was canceled as was the evening show. One would expect a call or an email from such a prestigious place to let patrons know, but the hundreds of patrons were not notified.
