My family and I are forever grateful for the marvelous assistance we received from the moment we were accepted into Adopt a family Safe program. From the wonderful staff to the dedicated volunteers that showed nothing but love and understanding to our needs. We as a family learned so much of how to be successful individuals in the society. I am actually on the team building the new club house and apartment buildings

I went searching for assistance because I fell behind on my rent for 1 month due to having a new born and a complicated cesarean. Had to spend 3 hours in an interview for nothing, "my budget is over what I make". SMH I have been making it this far without problems and when I came across a problem I can't get any help. Palm Beach County resources for single parents is a JOKE, they pay so little in this county and charge so much for everything! When I do make it one day I will start a charity that actually helps those who need it, that try to help themselves. I wish I could give this charity a negative rating they do not deserve a star at all, I bet they help the people with new cars and fancy clothes.

I have called every day and nothing I m a mom of two boys got scammed and was focus outta my home of five years I m not from here so I don t have family I m not sure why I m not getting the help but i very upset that I can t even get a call back to check on me a my kids homeless is real and no one should be homeless at these times

I like it because they always have very good creatives for children and they help children a lot in reading.

This organization is not a help at all ive reached out to them as well and have gotten no response! Please do better with your services the people who need help can't even get it sad

Horrible non profit organization...the lady Audrey Long belittles you....she was chewing on the phone while doing my intake...they help who they want to help.They bluntly lie and are bias in every situation. They want to know how and why you in your particular situation and if it doesnt add up on paperwork they deny you. They dont bother to come out and actually see for themselves. They assume everyone is lying or trying to get over. They have degrees in human services for nothing. It's a joke. They do the bare minunum to get funding FROM the governmetnd usually it's to their close friends or family members or referrals of them.

We got to meet the Family our work sponsored this year. The mom was so nice. You could see the joy and true love she has for her kids. They case workers are not workers they are more like family. Thank you to them for all they are doing to help theae familys.

They weren t able to help me, calendar was full, they were at capacity. However the lady at the front desk provided me with information that truly helped me and for that I am grateful.

Nice place to have your child for aftercare. They take your kids to many field trips during the summer break which is great.

Wonderful organization! It did take a bit of time, but they did make a payment to my landlords! Helping me (personally) beyond words!

Called Adopt-a-family to get rental assistance as I have a three year old granddaughter placed with me. They asked my personal particulars and indicated they can't help because I don't currently have job as I am disabled and won't receive government assistance for social security until July. They indicated I've gotta have a job for them to help us out. What a joke this assistance service is. Don't donate or help out this organization!

Adopt a Family has NOT HELPED ME and has refused to help me in the past years.

I love them. They have helped me and my 2 kids have a place to stay safe. I absolutely love the staff. They are very caring and they make sure me and my family are doing well. They help to slove issues in a timely manner. The apartments are nice. I'm so thankful for them.

I ve contacted numerous time for shelter for myself and two kids and no one has even tried to help me...it s sad

I have reached out to Adopt A Family for almost 3 weeks now. I have had minimal guidance through my homeless situation! I called them a week prior to me becomming homeless and I was refered to The Lewis Center. They took my info and put it in a database and refered me to Family Promise or told me I qualify for travel assistance to get to another state where family may be able to assist me. Family Promise told me I do not qualify and refered me back to Adopt A Family where I have been calling them for about 3 days now with return phone call. I am a mother of 3 children and cannot find ONE resource in Palm Beach County to keep us from sleeping in our car. The sad thing is that when I was able this is the one non profit I would donate to. It is ssad that I have to be disabled or mentally ill before Adopt A Family will even step in. One thing for sure I will be after this situation is over!

I don't understand this charity. I am new at this though. I don't havre a child. I am a highrisk pregnant woman. We were forced to move.not for non payment but for issues with neibourghs triggering my fiancees mental health that he is on disability for. The bill is double cause of the move. Can't afford this. We have paid our bills on time for 2 years yet we are brhind 144 bucks.. We paid for too much over budget. Im not able to work. And were on fixed income. We save money or we not been able to pay for moving. But they refuse im told to give a referal because we are not married I was first told. Then its cause i cant proove stability! What!? 2 years of paying dont count. An extenuating circumstance. Oh no a pregnancy don't count its not a baby yet. Last I was told. Never asked for help. But they rather I miscarry from stress. I hope someone gets back to me. Id like to say they called andhelped. But after 4 days back and forth w bethesda by sea church I was told they never help me. The church wont give me the person who said this. So Idk who made this choice but itsmessed up. What are they there for? To collect donations and be poverty professional s I feel discrimination towards us as disabled about to be parents. Need jelp.

Wow these people help who they want here I am almost homeless in the middle of being evicted with 2 disabled children reaching out to them for help and I am being told I m behind too much and don t qualify for there program. But they supposed to prevent you from being homeless. I think someone need to really check and see what s going on in that place because people who really need the help is not getting the help

Need help with me and my two kids been over 4weeks haven t gotten a call back my family is moving out on the first of this month need help

I must say these people are not human they are angels they really go out of their way to help our community

Ramona is a wonderful advocate who fought for my family and helped us through a rough time. She was very knowledgeable and still checks on us to see how things are going. I do not know what my family would have done without Adopt-A-Family so glad God led us to them and had Ramona advocate for us. Truly a great program. Thank you Kellie B and Family
