Adobe Creek Golf Club Review

Excellent staff, very helpful! Course was in great shape!

Complete bull how we had to wait for the Men s League, and The Scarmbles, only got to the fourth hole before having to wait for about 8 golfers (about 4 at a time so 4 x 8 = 32 people total) this was the worst first experience I ve ever had. Don t waste your time here, you ll get told to wait for better golfers to go.

Lovely day in a beautiful course! Play whenever you have the opportunity, it's worth it!

Nice course. Great place to take the kids to practice at the range or putting.

Great day of golf at Adobe Creek. Course is in great shape, pace of play was good. Golf priced where it should be. Played 27 holes with a cart for $32.

The starters and marshals are rude and stack golfers right on top of each other. We used to come here every weekend but after the treatment we got from a marshal to paying customers, we will be happy to find a new course in town.

We have had a wonderful time playing at Adobe Creek for the last month. Almost felt as good as we do at our own golf course back home in Southern Ca. where we live. Hope to come back again. Thanks, Joan and Doug Kirchner

I'm a bit partial because I got to help out in the newest expansion of this course back in 2000. Great layout for an enjoyable day of smacking around old whitey, unless you play a different colored ball.

Adobe Creek has excellent pro shop, bar and course maintenance personnel. Having 3 nine hole courses allows three sets of players start at the same time. Each course has a unique character, difficulty and all are fun to play. It is very good value compared to other Colorado courses.

The greens are excellent and the fairways are coming around superbly, especially given the moisture-deprived winter. The pro shop and clubhouse staff are outstanding.

The course is very rough shape and way over crowded

A delightful experience. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great course as always but our experience was tainted before we even started golfing. Our foursome had a 10:04 scheduled tee time but got bumped to 10:12 for no reason at the starter box. That part is fine but we were ready at 10:00 so we drive over close to the first tee box off of the Monument course. We are not even within 50 yards of the tee box, waiting for the group before us to tee off (who didn't make it over until 10:08) and the starter official comes over and chews is out for leaving the starter area before he called our name, saying those are course rules. After asking him where that is posted he can't provide an answer, gets even more rude and tells us that he told us, which he never did. Bad experience decent course.

All 4 courses are fun and you have an amazing view of the monument the entire time.

I love playing here. Everyone is so nice and helpful.

The online booking was simple and efficient. The course was in great shape. The greens were running fast and smooth. We played the Mesa/Desert and really enjoyed the challenge they provided. Adobe Creek will certainly be on my list of courses to play when I m in Grand Junction.

The courses are nicely manicured and maintained, and the folks there are accommodating and congenial.

Course was in good condition, as usual. They always are good hosts for the scrambles that I play in.

Good venue with beautiful views I would give it 5 stars but they didn t have the decency to close their bar attached to the dining room during the wedding reception. Definitely weird and awkward to have random golfers sitting at the bar while we celebrated this special day for our friends.

It's the best choice in the valley. People are grate, Corse is well maintained, prices are fare, 27 holes for a good variety. Nor to mention the views of the Colorado National Monument. Sweet deal!

It's a very nice course it's close to home I've been going there for about 20 years

Nice place to meet nice people, only problem is, if you like playing off of hard pan in the bunkers, very seldom are they maintained, the sand bunkers might as well be grassed in.

Our experience at Adobe is always awesome. Brian is awesome and so is Scott. Only thing I'd like is if they didn't close down the driving range on Friday mornings. Other than that I love everything about Adobe!!!

Visited during a chamber meeting which was catered from an outside restaurant, so cannot talk to the food. But the views are awesome.

My family had our annual golf tournament here and the staff took exceptional care of us and we had an amazing time! I can't say enough great things about the staff and management here. I've got nothing but love!

This has to be one of my all time favorites for public courses in the entire country. If you have the time give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

The starter seems to always have an agenda that doesn't agree with the tee times that are made. Grumpy-McGrumperson is his new nickname. C'mon man you have the easiest job in the Grand Valley!

Over priced for what you get...same developer as Chipeta even has identical interior...holes over lap way to much to be paying $20 over Chipeta prices..

Great golf course, friendly staff, reasonable rates. Some very scenic views of the Colorado National Monument from everywhere at the course. Driving range ball machine only takes cash!

The course was in excellent shape. The staff in the pro shop were very helpful and incredibly nice. Cannot wait to go back and play again!

Wonderful course. Not too hilly and the fairways and greens are kept up very well. The staff is very kind as well.

Course and greens are in excellent condition and is reasonably priced. I played Mesa/Monument and place was slow on back nine due to inconsiderate golfers ahead, but that isn't Adobe's fault. They take pride in their course.

Of course it's dusk and I have three holes left...

This was the worst I have ever seen this course. E ground was so wet when stepping on the fairway would sink in and no roll to the ball. Should not of had golfers on this course in those conditions

Decent course very well kept up. Pricing is way to high. If it were in Denver it would be a $35 course for 18 and a cart.

We love Adobe Creek! The courses all have a variety of holes, from short par 4s to challenging par 3s and 5s. The scenery is magnificent and the Adobe Creek staff is always friendly. They even remember our bar order :)

Good place to play golf w/27 holes to keep you occupied...the MESA nine is long w/3 par five holes and a difficult, long par 4 at #5.

Low key, well maintained golf course. Not pretentious at all. 27 holes, all flat but a few water hazards and traps to keep you honest.

Very enjoyable round of golf today ! Golf course is in great shape .... tee boxes on a few holes need some leveling but overall in great shape !

You guys need a restaurant so bad. It's sad we can not plan on a good lunch at Adobe Creek :(

Awesome golf course & the scenic views, spectacular.

3 challanging 9s. Courses are in great shape and chearful staff. I really like the fact I can create my own tee times months in advance from my phone. I have family coming and now I have a solid, favorable T time next month.

Extremly strict with their rules. The starters are not nice at all and they pressure you to finish your game as fast as possible. Dont go there if you want to enjoy a game of golf

Little over watered today but generally a good little course to play. Always super friendly staff.

MANAGER WAS A JERK, GREENS HAD BEEN AERATED & THE DIRT PLUGS WERE EVERYWHERE. ALL 3 COURSES HAD BEEN DONE AT SAME TIME AND NO TEMPORARY GREENS HAD BEEN PREPARED. I MADE A COMMENT TO THE MGR ABOUT IT & HE WAS A REAL SMART AZZ. I HAVE PLAYED EVER SINCE I WAS OLD ENOUGH TO SWING AT PLASTIC BALLS IN MY BACK YARD, MAYBE 5 YEARS OLD & HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. COURSE IS JUST GENERIC, NOTHING SPECIAL.

Our three day "Adobe Creek Ryder Cup " was well received by all players and with Adobe's staff and employees made this event entertaining and very easy for me to accomplish. The entire staff, from the manager and assistant to your grounds keeping staff helped and made not only my job but our entire schedule and games an enjoyable event for all. Our event staff will rebook our event again next year. Again thank you to the complete staff

Adobe Creek could be a great golf course if the owners learned how to provide some customer service and listened to the players needs. They refuse to invest in the now decades old technology of adding prizims or even cheap reflector tape to the flag sticks to facilitate laser range finders which improve the golfing experience and speed up play. Many of the greens on the courses have trees and shrubs as a backdrop that confuse range finders. Bunker maintenance is another area of concern they refuse to address. Especially during winter play. When the sun is out and sand is dry they leave it thin and packed down making for a miserable lie every time.

Always a great round at Adobe. Greens and tee boxes are in great shape! Beautiful views of the Monument, water fowl, foxes and deer. I ve never been disappointed !

I wish my golf game was as good as the views from this course. The course itself isn't to bad either. Its flat, well maintained, fairways wide enough for the weekend stroker, but if you end up out, there is a good chance you will lose your ball. The upside is that you most likely find some one else's from a previous round. Affordable, friendly staff, no pretentious attitudes.

The layout of the three separate nines is fun and challenging. The people that work there make you feel welcome. And the people you play with there make you feel right at home too. And even in these drought conditions, the greens and tee boxes are in great shape. You do need to have a little patience here and there in the fairways because of the drought conditions but I saw no major problems even with that challenge for the greenskeeping team.

Update on 12/4/19: The course is in great shape and most of the bunkers have been upgraded to something approaching real sand. The layout is still fun and the folks that work there always make you feel welcome. Keep up the good work!!!
