Beautiful oval.

Beautiful oval.
I recommend sitting in the riverbank stand near the top (or the western stand if you're a member) to avoid the sun in the summer.
I love the sunsets here! Always nice to see St Peter's Cathedral with a pink/purple backdrop.

That's a gem for sports fans as well as athletes. Clean and well arranged. Easy access and toilet available near all gates. However the best part about sports is decency. They have set of rules that you need to follow and that includes decent clothes you must wear when you come to the game. All gates have cafeterias and they have good restaurants attached to the stadium. You must watch a game in here.
Tickets can be bought near all gates.

Situated only a few minutes walk from the city with pop up bars and food stalls along the way .
The stadium itself is modern and well laid out. Plenty of food and drink outlets so you don't have to wait to long for service.

Did the roof climb at sunset/dusk was awesome. Not thrilling but a great tourist style experience for my favourite city in the world. Wasnt too cold with no wind or rain. The bridge, goal square and lean out were a little daunting but nothing for an adrenal junkie. Guide was great and the tour would be perfect intro for someone new to adelaide.

Great

Wow. Just wow. Nothing much else can be said, but I'll say it anyway. The Adelaide Oval is the single greatest display of human ingenuity on the planet, it's more than just an oval; it is a testament to humanity at its absolute finest.
I had the honor and privilege of visiting this number 1 attraction this July and my only complaint is that I saw such a marvelous site so early on in my life, everything I see now is just going to be flat out inferior. From the incredible historic scoreboard to the impeccable, unique (Can't be seen anywhere else!) grass, this oval has something for everyone, especially thrill seeking adrenaline junkies.
I give the Adelaide Oval my highest recommendation and a 5 out of 5 star rating, even though that score still doesn't give it justice. If you visit Adelaide and don't visit this site; what even are you...

Don't go to an evening game on the East side (facing West) without sunglasses and sunscreen. I almost fried when I was there for a cricket match. However, the stadium is really well-kept and in a really cool area. My sister-in-law's wedding was there in the conference room behind the luxury boxes and it was really cool, too. Great view of the big church nearby and cool atmosphere.

Visiting Adelaide Oval is must for anyone who is visiting Adelaide CBD. Can even walk from the CBD with 15 minutes. There is a lovely museum with loads of things to learn. The Don Bradman collection was wonderful to see. All of these you can enjoy for Free of Charge. Kudos to the management for keep it so clean and well maintained.

An excellent multi-use oval with the unique hill and heritage scoreboard in addition to the modern facilities. Close to the city and easily accessible by public transport. Only negative is over the top food and drink prices that keep increasing each year it seems.

Great to have a really good oval close to the CBD, easy transport to and from, helpful staff to assist with seating, prices could be seen as a little high but overall a very positive experience AND Port won!,,,

On the upper level, pricey seats, rain and wind coming in, in the front row it was very difficult to watch though the glass on top of the railing, might be better further back from the front.
