For a cricket fan a must place to visit though other games are also available.
One can come through the Central Train station. Very conveniently located for easy access by train, tram or bus.
Nice surroundings.
Adelaide convention Centre and Hotel Intercontinental is 5minutes away.

Beautiful place.

Beautiful place.
Great history and marvellous structure
Must visit if you are in Adelaide

Must be the best stadium in the world. Outstanding praises from the English players during the Ashes series. Especially after the Boxing Day pitch (below standard) and the poor publicity in all medias during and after the MCG test match. The MCG was the Mecca in cricket in Australia ONCE. However Adelaide and Perth are stadiums in waiting.
Pro rata of population to test march attendance puts ADELAIDE in the
box seat.

Cost of Adelaide Oval parking needs
Govt contol. $20. per car per day (especially for the disabled) is too high. At the MCG for the Boxing Day test parking was only $10.00 per day per car.

Adelaide's FREE public transport coupled with an entrance ticket to the match is a huge advantage to families. I had a ticket to the MCG and when into the Melbourne CBD for some shopping and was charged $7.00 tram fare to return to the MCG.?? On a weekend???
The Vict. government is well behind the SA Government.

Food and refreshment prices at the Adelaide Oval needs Government control. Well over priced.

Still the best in the world.
And the goal posts at the Adelaide run north and south??????

Great place to take a family. M G OC

I consider myself so lucky as I watch 3 massive World Cup games (Pak Vs India) (Pak vs Ireland) and (Pak vs Australia - quarter final) at Adelaide Oval. It has so amazing atmosphere and overall beautiful stadium for international events!!! Love it! <3

The beautiful Adelaide oval. What a fantastic event. I've been going to the Big Bash cricket for 3 seasons now and love family area on the lawn. Great time had by all the family.
Only negative thing I could say is the food options are not the greatest. Too much fried food, not alot of fresh choices. Just my opinion.

Smashing stadium. Wasn't on an official tour as it was late in the day - just asked if I could have a look. "Yeah, no problem - just stay on this level" was the reply - fair play to the guys on the information desk. Being from Ireland, I appreciated this opportunity to have a look. Highly recommended!

We have visited the oval on a number of occasions, including to do milo cricket, watch the strikers and to watch the ashes. Each experience has been wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful, it is well organised and family friendly. It really is a very special asset to the city.

Amazing oval, heaps of facilities available. There is no weather covering but that's not the end of the world.

There is easy access to the city from the oval over the footbridge. There is also plenty of public transport available.

I have had some friends do the climbing tour here and they really enjoyed it.

A great one off experience. We hired two corporate boxes with food and drinks for my lads 21st. Staff were great especially Tiana. We enjoyed the night and the Strikers won. We went home happy.

We walked around the oval looking for the statue of Colonel William Light, a direct ancestor of a friend of mine. It was a little warm for the walk which doesn't have enough shade. Oh well. This area is well developed for sports and entertainment. The foot bridge over the river is very pretty.
The northern end of the oval is more elevated and offers a view of the city and the Adelaide hills.
