One of the best markets in Australia and one of my favourites.

Hand down one of the best markets I've been to. Filled with friendly shops and tasty delights. It's conveniently located and offers quality products ranging from cheese to fruits to French cuisine.

Would recommend going to Say Cheese and sampling their delicious products. also grab a coffee and treat yourself to something sweet

What a blast this place is!
We had been told so much about it but that did not prepare us for the onslaught of sights and smells that we experienced .
No matter what you are looking for in way of food you will find it here. The best blends of coffee beans, all types of cheese, every fruit and veg that you have ever heard of you will find here. Best of all though are all the exotic fruits and vegetables that you have NEVER heard of. They are bewildering in their variety.
The best thing that we found was a stall with lots of indigenous foods.
Just delicious!

The market hall is a nice place to stroll through, buy something to eat for takeaway. The food court next to it is fantastic for all kind of tasty Asian food, every taste has a single counter but they all share the eating area.

Interesting fresh market with multi cultural themes. The only place in town to get fresh sugarcane juice!

My favourite place in the city. Favourite food are Russian Pierogi, Spenish paella,Hungarian chimney cake, sourdough bread, and Italian prosciutto. You do not need to supply you home with vagies and fruit but have a great time and food

it's a cultural meeting place where you can get cheap local produce.

Situated right in the middle of china town. Great for fresh produce and some pretty good coffees about. Def worth a look on saturday!

love this place anytime except Saturday's at 2pm, that's when it gets crazy with bargain hunters

Lucky to watch a cooking demonstration and then get to taste the delicious food.

Great place for everything you need from jewelly clothes and multiple food places to choose from . You will enjoy many different cultures of food so yum a must see .

I love this market lucias for coffee like i called in yesterday but its been 15yrs x there is nothing like Adelaide central markets anywhere i think i could move back to SA fot this.

Variable products rarely as good as a true wet market . In australian eyes its a waste of space but for us who percieve the meal is not what it is in the tweens

Don't let anyone tell you this place is closed on Monday or Tuesday! Plenty of great shops and fresh produce available...

Who doesn't love the Adelaide Central Market. Fantastic food and produce, all undercover, good access and parking. Don't forget your rollie trolley.

So many fresh options. The stores along the walls and nearby are also worth a look

Wonderful modern market and not to touristy. Plenty of locals buying daily groceries

It's just a shopping centre with no ceiling, poor lighting, a grubby floor and a good PR team. Some nice food stalls but don't expect every stall to accept card payment.

I have always loved visiting the market - we used to get big round lollipop as a treat while the "Olds" shopped.
It is a very cosmopolitan place which offers a huge range of fruit, veg, meats poultry etc. aYou can get a great coffee at several small places and you can get a great range of meal options and even a beet or wine within the total complex. Cheers.

Great place to shop Good atmosphere and awesome place for fresh produce

Great place for a visit and so much on offer. Worth stopping by the smelly cheese shop. Always have cheese on tastings and great selection of cheese. If you head towards the back there's also the Italian sandwich stand offering porchetta rolls, delicious! Try the parmesan dip at one of the delis as well as the marinated octopus. Foodie heaven.

A world class food market with a rustic appeal that must never be lost.

A must visit place during Saturday. Key makers are very cheap. There is a halal butcher at downstairs. A Coles is available on the grote street. First hour car park is free. Love to do my grocery shopping here. Highly recommended.

Great variety of produce from many different providers. Generally if it's available then you can get it here for all ingredients etc for foodies. Would like a kitchen ware shop .

Adelaide cultural icon. Great place to eat, buy food and just watch people. Always an interesting place (on open days!)

Plenty of beautiful coffee available if you're on the hunt for a good bean too!

What isn't to love about the central markets. A hive of fresh produce, meats, cheeses and cakes doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of the variety of foods you can purchase here. Bustling on Friday nights and Saturdays I still choose to shop during those times because of the atmosphere. Parking directly upstairs is extremely convenient even with the fee.

Cheap, nice fresh vegetables and fresh and marinated different meat options.
Very reasonable price meat and fish.

One of the highlights of Adelaide, a must for any visitor. Rows of stalls offering a huge range of delicacies from fresh fruit and vegetables to artisan baked goods.

What a find! Seriously the best place for fresh produce, cheeses, meats, entertainment and more.

Very good, do much fruit and veggies. Nice to have coffee at Poh's Cafe too.

Great coffee from The Coffee Bean shop and good quality fresh produce at all other stalls.

Great place to buy all kinds of things. We bought a lovely second hand expensive camera for a great price. Wish we had more time to look around.

The iconic food market of Adelaide, full of fresh produce and artisan delights.

Super interesting and crowded! You should go here at about 1-2 pm on Saturday when abundant products on sale (up to 1/2 price) before the market's closing. It's so lively and funny!!

Not every city would have a great market such as these one, very organised, clean and especially the atmosphere here feel very welcoming. The produce are fresh and the seller are also kind enough to share knowledge about their products. One of the experience I had, is buying an apple, once i asked them why it's so glossy and good looking, aren't the same as the apples in supermarket, they explain that it was waxed and polished so it would last longer and keep the fruits freshness.. things like that, I hope it will be useful, enjoy!

Spectacular, you can buy cuaquiel products k look for or eat food of any country, that is very busy

Varieties of daily necessities available at reasonable price.

I love the markets in Adelaide the have a little for everyone. Not 5 star since the market is slowly creeping towards a mall and products are less local and less exotic. Many products are similar to offerings in a mall but search and you will find wonderful individualistic items at good value. Fruit and veg still fantastic.

One of the best places to buy fresh fruit and veggies at incredibly competitive prices. Best of all is you will be supporting small family owned businesses.

Love it. So much amazing fresh hot and cold food. So easy to spend so much in a short amount of time.
