Just moved here this year. Its beautiful here but management sucks. Haven t met this McCarthy person yet. Friday newsletters are not fun more like depressing.
Addison Reserve is a spectacular place to call home. Great golf, great food, great amenities, and great management and staff make this an award winning community in South Florida. Addison is a warm welcoming community where members are treated royally and made to feel special. The lush landscaping only adds to the beauty and serenity that members enjoy. This is definitely the place to live. I'm not sure 5 stars is enough.
Addison Reserve may be turning into reform style prison camp, and its clear that other members are deeply concerned we are too. I for one didn t like the last board meeting either. We have been here from the beginning. I think everyone needs to take a step back and look at where we were when we started and where we are today. It s not good. While the club facilities have greatly improved, it is not our behavior that is a concern, but in fact the behavior of Mr. McCarthy, Mr. Greenfield both leaders/management of Addison Reserve and Mr. Picard of Cambridge that we need do a serious re-evaluation.
Management is never visible or accessible here. Place is beautiful, but time for new blood to run this place. A graceful departure is better than one with growing hatred from the members to the club management and out of touch RUDE club board of directors. We don t participate anymore in your club zoom calls because its clear you don t care anymore.
My wife almost got ran over by a security golf cart driving 50mph the other night! So many underlying issues here and hope the media picks up on this place and decides to run a story on the outrageous discrimination going on here. Senior management is a problem. Just do some digging around. Not one black family lives here. Dangerously manipulating here.
Very few are nice here (except the amazing Grill restaurant bar & dinning staff, they are beautiful). For the management, if you mis-behave in their view (which changes by the day), they put you in Addison Jail and take away your automatic gate entry and no more golf play. REALLY???!!!
Leadership & Security here is a serious problem. A group of us were walking on the closed golf course behind our new house we just purchased here a few months ago. Management & the HOA security company then ripped into us rudely telling us to get off the golf cart path! Our family will not tolerate any abuse from anyone, especially at a place that is supposed to be five star. This is NOT a five star country club by any means. If the board doesn t take action on its security and managers then a group of us will take our own independent action legally. The CEO, Mike McCarthy is running a joke of an operation. I will update this later on as things develop.
great to have date night with my beautiful wife at addison
We are so grateful to be able call Addison Reserve our home. This is one of the most beautiful places to live in Florida. Stroll through the community and you're surrounded by beautiful lakes, three golf courses all with gorgeous tropical landscaping where you see amazing tropical birds, butterflies, turtles and the occasional crocodile! The club is so full of activities that making a weekly schedule to include tennis, golf, pickle ball, yoga, water aerobics or just relaxing at the resort style pool is difficult, you can't fit it all in a 7-day week! I love to walk down by the practice greens in the morning where you can find a friendly staff member serving croissants, hot pretzels, ice-cream or the donut of the day! Next take a stroll over to the Grill before 10:30 AM and find complimentary breakfast and coffee. We also do walk on CLOSED golf courses after the sun has set and the players are finished. @Hungry Buzz TV, I was shocked by your comments and was just wondering if you were the person walking behind your new home this past Saturday afternoon as we were trying to Tee-off on the 9th hole of Redemption. Was that you in the middle of the fairway? Many new members have recently joined our community and as non-golfers you may not realize that walking on the golf course between 7:45 am until sunset is dangerous and not allowed. You can reach out to the membership committee with any concerns you have. They are a very thoughtful group of people and will do everything they can to welcome you. We live in a beautiful community with nice members/neighbors who enjoy Addison on a daily basis and we certainly hope that all new members find the same satisfaction.
