Very knowledgeable I was blown away by my experience there shopping for new nursery and garden items the staff goes above and beyondare extremely gracious courteous and very willing to share their knowledge of the product they sell this is one of the best place they have a great assortment of nursery and garden items
The staff were extremely helpful in picking out some excellent trees for out yard. The provided great planting advice and include a one year warranty on most items.
We are 20+ year customers. Sunday we went to purchase hanging baskets. Since there are no prices on the baskets or posted anywhere that we could see, we asked an employee the price and were told $26.99. When we got to the register they rang up as $31.99. I questioned the price and the rude cashier told me to go find the person who told me $26.99 (mind you the lines were 20 people deep so I was not going to hold people up). I completed the sale then asked to speak with a manager. Out comes some very young girl (I believe her name was Becky) who, among other rude statements, tells us, "I'm sure there are other greenhouses you can go to if you are not happy." Yes, Adams Nursery, I'm sure there are. Terrible customer service!
This is the best place to come for your landscaping needs! I was just there on Saturday. They have excellent customer service and they know their trees, plants, etc.... Whenever I call, Stephanie is always so polite and goes out of her way to find the answers. Neil and Landen is amazing on helping me to make the right decisions in choosing what trees or plants that would work for certain areas. I ve been coming here for years and I love how they are always willing to help. Thank you!
I will not go back ,They are expensive and they charge you for using your credit card . Many other nurseries around with good pricing and quality plantings. Russell's Tree and Shrub is one of them.
They pass along their Credit Card fees to the customer now. They added an additional $16 (3.99%) to my total. That's absolutely ridiculous. Most businesses absorb that cost. Not like they are hurting like most small businesses.
The woman working in the green house was very helpful and knowledgable. This place charges the customer 3.99% of their total bill if you use a credit card OR debit card!! Are you serious?!! Who goes to a garden center to buy trees, stone, mulch or alot of plants and pays by cash? We won't be back, there are many wonderful nurseries in our area that truly welcome business and are happy to take a debit or credit card with no added expense. buh bye Adams!
Granted the selection was huge and everything looked well cared for as with other quality nurseries in the area.
The prices are already higher than other nurseries and then they'll charge you an extra 3.99% to use your credit card. They pass it off as a cash discount, which isn't the case. They are just passing their credit card fees onto the consumer. That's shady if you ask me and others. Maybe the owner hit his head recently??
I would like to give the nursery 0 stars but that is not an option.. Unfortunately I will no longer purchase any items from this nursery. The staff was rude and their incompetence about their knowledge of the plants in their store baffled me. Also when I asked staff to retrieve a hanging plant on display the response was "we are not allowed to sell plants that are on the top rung." What!? Why are they on display for sale? Very poor service. I usually spend over $300 for my plants every year. My business will go to another nursery that prides itself in customer satisfaction.
Today was our first time there. Our daughter told us about it. This place is amazing. For mother's day my daughter and son bought me rose bushes from there that keep blooming during the summer. So glad we went and will definitely be going back for shrubs. They have it all. The country store is an added bonus too.
