Adams County Sheriffs Office Review

Great Staff!!! I just ran into a couple of Brighton's "finest", less than friendly, and unfortunately my thought was, it's so nice to know that if I ever need something they will NOT be the ones I would have to call. I felt attacked. I know several of my communities officers and have always been impressed by how they have handled themselves in many situations. Because of you I can feel safe in my home. Thank you!!!!!! <3

After seeing 2 different YouTube videos of Dep Bonder, I am beyond words at his ignorance of the law and his lack of respect shown to the public.
This man has anger issues, and makes up the law as he see fit to justify his illegal actions.
He is a dangerous tyrant.

Why are your deputies not identifying themselves to the public? I watched two of your deputies stop a journalist for taking pictures in public. When he asked them for their names, they both declined to provide it, and neither of them had any identifying numbers or name tags on their uniforms. So much for transparency and accountability huh? They actually detained the journalist for taking pictures, which only showed their ignorance or contempt for our first amendment rights. He recorded the stop, and your officers actually turned off his camera... why? Why didn't they want there to be an objective witness and record of the stop? Please educate them, as children like these shouldn't be running around with guns and badges...

Good Customer service goes a long way. I m not sure why the clerks are so upset when they answer the phone... please be nicer to ppl!!

I waa attacked by these officers while i was eating an apple empanada in a taco bell parking lot. Supposedly i looked suspicious because i was sitting in a truck with a camper on it and it was late at night. I had been moving all day and was very tired and the manager invited me there so i could eat. He even knew i was there outside. I tried to get my id out of my bag but could not because i had been eating and my hands were sticky. The officer became hostile towards me and i tried to record him but then he got more mad and grabbed me out of my truck, twisted my arms threw me on the ground and made my phone go flying. After all that they finally let me go. I have some advice for your police department , why dont you go harrass some real criminals. Your officers are corrupt and rude and i hope you dont do this to someone else.

Arapahoe police department are better then Adams county they are rude disorganized and they dont care

I am very displeased, to say the least, with the generally accepted modus operandi displayed department-wide by these deputies in the course of their duties supposedly working for the citizens of this community. I have personally witnessed blatant abuses of self-governing, as far as riding the clock for hourly pay & disregarding the law as it applies to their own actions. My hard earned tax money is paying these monsters just so they can abuse people & promote their own agendas. Deputy Martin told me not to forget his name when I asked it, upon hearing him blatantly & clearly state his position on those citizens passing through the jail facility. He said, "I don't care about the safety or security of any inmates. I only care about the other employees." This was his response to hearing sounds of distress from an inmate in holding in the medical wing & being told by the nurse that "maybe he should check on them. You know, for safety & security, at least". This was 1 of the more minor incidents I witnessed during my recent pass through the facility for a ticket I missed court on. It took them 2 days to process me in then back out. My people were there waiting to pay the bond before I got there. There is no reason for what I was subjected to. It was dehumanizing. I am no criminal. I have no record. This agency is operating far outside it's intended purpose & any acceptable parameters in its treatment of the citizens it comes into contact with. I plan to write an op-ed piece which more specifically outlines what I endured & witnessed because people need to know what is happening, finances by their tax dollars.

Just watched a YouTube video about this place. These cops are scary. Best to avoid this County if you can.

Freedom haters and don't even know there own laws. Sound like there pretty uneducated
