An organization based on compassion to minister to local families in crises. Forty paid staff and 800 volunteers bring medical, dental, food (Loaves and Fishes), after school care, tutoring and job skill improvement to those in need. Compassionate people providing a hand with, not a hand out.
Love this place and the people that give their time, compassion and hard work helping others in need or with what ever you maybe going through in your life. Sometimes you may need a helping hand up or just an ear . It doesn't matter, Ada Jenkins Center is there to help.
The staff are so kind and efficient but their compassion for others is a true blessing.

This is an incredible place of people who sincerely make heartfelt efforts to help those in need. After my stroke I found myself in a temporary position of need. The staff there treated me with dignity in spite of. Thank God there exists places/people like this
Ada Jenkins assists in many ways. The part that gets me is when they dont know or have an answer they will search for an answer. Food clothing furniture doctors education employment. They help with it all.
An excellent place for the Latino community, where different integration and transition services to the community are offered.

This is a fantastic community resource! It's totally free which can't be beat...especially if things ($) are kinda tight at the moment. Love what they do and their mission. Very friendly staff that treats everyone very professionally.

When my family and I first moved here from Hawaii we did not know anyone and they provided us with Furniture food and just someone for me to talk to

Great thing for the community. Took care of a friends teeth and was very caring about the situation. They are slow to respond for appointments but they will get back to you. It is a great organization in what they do!
I host a cooking workshop for the Freedom School scholars at the Ada Jenkins Center and we have an awesome time.
