Comfortable beds, not the best views. Well stocked hotel bar.

Beautiful scenery, friendly caring staff, high quality eating, old hotel with a modern twist

Hotel and staff were lovely however unfortunately the food at a wedding I attended was almost inedible. The starters and Main course were the worst I experienced in years. It's a pity because the Hotel has a great reputation.

Nice hotel in a very central location. The staff are excellent and very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and spacious with high quality toiletries supplied in the en suite bathroom. The food at the hotel is also very good. The hotel is a bit dated however with old fashioned keys to the rooms. Unfortunately the bed and pillows were disappointing and offered little support and was the reason I took away from my rating.

Incredible. EUR 115 for a room that has a single bed in a separate room and a double in the other. Great for family with one child. I'm sure they Have other rooms that suit larger families. Really good service, really clean. Breakfast buffet and kitchen orders included in that price. Food is excellent. Location is excellent. Loads of parking. Couldn't ask more and would have expected to pay closer to 200e/night. Really impressed.

We got a harbour view room. Was clean warm and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly couldn't fault them really. Will stay there again

Great location on the waterfront. Room comfortable, staff welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Impossible to sleep because of the noise, its facilities are obsolete that have not been remodeled, heat is passed because it does not have air conditioning, or practically parking for cars.

Had a lovely dinner with my girlfriend. Only downside the seats in the restaraunt were more like lounge chairs than restaraunt seats

John and I went here to support the bingo to raise money for the little boy for his surgery and we got lovely sea food chowder and brown bread and it was delicious and we met a lovely couple 51 yrs married from Australia and we had a great chat with them and enjoyed the atmosphere and the comfortable seating in the lounge

Very friendly hotel with a good atmosphere. Good facilities including a pool and sauna as well as very close to some lovely restaurants and cafes.

Smart rooms, picturesque setting. Public areas lack a little life and oddly for somewhere looking out to see all the tables in the resto are turned towards wall or pillars.

Expected a better brekkie.

Nicest room for 3 people (queen bed w/ 2 twins vs. the usual 3 twins) we have had on our weeklong trip thus far. The morning breakfast was top notch with waitstaff everywhere to take orders/clear tables. During the day, the bar area is great for lounging, eating, or bellying up.
The wifi in the room was pretty bad but great downstairs which is not ideal but not the end of the world.
Didn't lift weights here but swam in the pool and visited the sauna which was a nice perk.
Location is absolutely perfect as well for walking around as well so overall, I didn't see anywhere else in town I would stay other than Actons.

Perfectly located on the harbour front, this hotel deserves its 4 stars: lovely comfortable beds, clean room and spacious bathroom. Wide choice of breakfast, including special gluten-free options. Personable staff, pleasant bar and lounge area (TV for sport). Certainly recommend.

Superb hotel in a world class location. Great rooms all ensuite. Good food and very helpful and friendly staff. Good bars and great atmosphere for sports matches. High light is a world beating breakfast that goes on, if you want it to, all morning so is ideal for socialising until check out at noon. Need six stars to do it justice.

Lovely place to stay. Very comfortable beds, amazing rainforest shower in my room. Downside - only a few tv channels available on telly and leisure centre is in a separate building, so not ideal to walk in or out from the hotel when it's 0 degrees and pissing rain outside :) Bar food is very tasty. Breakfast also nice. I was missing a cozy area to sit comfortably, the couches in the bar and lounge areas were not very comfy and mostly taken (tuesday night, middle of February)

I was there twice in recent days, meeting two different people socially on separate occasions, initially at the suggestion of the first. I was passing through. It had been many years since my last visit. It was an ideal venue for my purposes - convenience, parking, space, choice of beverage and food.

My family and always stay here. We just love the service rooms and locations. Such a great place stay. Children friendly pubs and restaurants all over kinsale. Keep up the good work see you next season. Regards the Reynolds.

Convenient hotel situated very close to Kinsale town centre. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. Breakfast was tasty but dinner options are limited and bland. Decor is a bit dated and price is a little on the expensive side for what you pay for

Lovely food for adults and kids, staff were lovely too
