Active Healthcare, Inc. Review

I got a nebulizer from my doctor office and they said that my insurance will be billed by active healthcare which would have been fine but they charged my insurance 5x more than the price I found online. They said I should have called then and made a cash payment of 1.5 times the online price. The company used an automated service to call my phone to tell me to register the device and call them about insurance. I thought my doctor office took care of the insurance and I did not need to call. I called the active healthcare and eventually got a lady who said she don't know why I was sent to her and yelled at me even though I was polite. She eventually calmed down and helped me so I ended up paying 2.5 times the online price. She turned out to be a customer service rep. Seriously!?!? The healthcare system in the US is ridiculous.

When I was prescribed an inhaler for my exercise induced asthma, no one had ever told me to use a spacer until I switched primary care providers. Received my spacer from Active Healthcare. Top notch, friendly customer service. They took the time to demonstrate how to correctly use the spacer with my inhaler. Also gave me cleaning tips as well. It's a top of the line Vortex spacer by Pari. I now get much more benefit from using my inhaler with the spacer than I ever did without it. Thank you Active Healthcare for caring about helping me improve my health!! So glad my doctor recommended you all. 5 star treatment!! I am so appreciative!

These people are the worse received a spacer that was never used and returned. These individuals are definitely ripping people off. Go on amazon to buy better products than these scammers. Then you bill insurance for more than what the product is actually worth. The spacers was never used. These people are fraud. They are money hungry. Your ratings dont lie. Your business speaks for itself. Who would send in a used spacer.

Wonderful Staff. It doesn't matter when I call or who I speak to everyone in that office is super professional and courteous and perhaps most importantly they will do exactly what they say they are going to do.

Active Healthcare will work with you to find a way to get whatever you need - done. They know what Type 1 diabetics need and understand how insurance works to get the supplies...Ask for Christina..she's always been super helpful.

My 10 yr old son is diabetic and has a Dexcom CGM. We receive his supplies thru Active Healthcare and anytime we have a question or he's damaged or lost something, they have always gone above their call of duty and had helped us out. For anyone who has had a bad experience, don't blame this company for how our countries insurance billing is. They are a first class company with a caring team of staff. Thank you for all you do for my son and I.

Traveling and forgot to pack my full face cpap mask. Found these guys on the internet, I stopped by to buy one for cash. They had my mask in stock. After filling out forms and waiting for over 20 minutes - they said they would not sell it without a prescription but would sell a non full face mask. I left and ordered one on line with next day delivery. The online supply company did not need a prescription. I did't want to give this place a rating (but Google requires it), instead I just to notify potential customers in my situation.

Active Healthcare is a awesome company, the staff is great and is very knowledgeable, not to mention I won one of their Nebulizers from an Asthma Fair in 2017, I called the office and they explained to me how to properly care for my equipment. I highly recommend!

Very confusing setup. Active Healthcare is no longer operational but they connect you to another company which continues to use the same offices. I think the google search should be updated. The customer service of the new company is poor. Very difficult to get my questions answered. I was simply looking for a price on a new machine.

I had a great experience with Active HealthCare for a Nebulizer, it was my first time receiving any type of equipment and they have just been great in the process as far as answering my questions on how to use it, and taking care of it. the website also gives great education. This company is a total rip off! My son was seen by his pediatrician and was given a nebulizer from this company at the visit. I too was told that it will billed to my insurance. However I was billed $256 for a nebulizer thats $79 on Amazon! Total rip off!! Taking advantage of a vulnerable mother with a sick child. You should be ashamed of yourselves! They strategically have the equipment readily available in doctors offices and then charge you 4 times the amount for taking it. I could ve just ordered it or went to a different medical supplier and purchased it for much cheaper!

In October 2013 I received a insulin pump, a glucose meter and supplies from Active Healthcare Inc. I am still receiving my supplies and every time I call the wonderful and caring staff for any reason they go out of their way to not only help me, but to make sure all of my needs are met. I wish that other companies would take a page from their book so we all could be better served in all aspect of our lives. They are true angels and I will always be a proud patron. If you are looking for a medical supplier you only need to look at Active Healthcare Inc. they will always be there for you.
