A super nice place and you can feel the ancient history in there totally!
You should pay 10 for the entrance and it's better to go on week days as it is less crowded.
It is better you read a bit about this historical place and then go there to enjoy more!

Amazing place. Long queue to get in. My tip if it's very, very busy is to get a 30 pass for multiple entries to various tourist sites from one of the less busy queues just around the corner then walk straight to the front of the queue at the Acropolis. Take lots of water with you too.

Learning the history is amazing. There is written information around the sites. We had a tour guide who provided more information. You can get quite close but the front is covered with scaffolding.

What an experience! You definitely need to put the Acropolis on top of your bucket list in Athens because it's the biggest attractions there! The simplest way to understand and see how people used to worship Gods and we see that in their cultures. Try to get there before 10 am as cruises ships tend to come around by this hour! Also, be prepared for a little workout as you have to walk at least for 15min before reaching the top. I highly recommend it!
