Great meal had lamb shank. Good service bit slow but they warned that short help be patient that's fair and appreciated. Good service wore masks says good hygiene attitude. By the way service was not much slower than you would expect
Amazing and delicious experience every time! The staff cares here and are so welcoming and doting! The food is to die for!! Never had anything that wasn t delicious!! Great atmosphere and the prices are fantastic! Brought my sister here while she was visiting from Ohio and sat on the patio. Jersey waited on us like we were queens! She was wonderful! My sister is back in Ohio now and can t stop talking about The Acropolis! Thank you for another wonderful experience and we hope to return soon. Until then I ll be dreaming about lemon pasta and hummingbird cake!
This place was absolutely superb. Stopped by @ the tail end of a cross country trip.... excellent food, friendly & accommodating staff, all around great experience. Thanks for running such a great operation, look forward to coming back!
Absolutely the best restaurant, it is a favorite of mine. Never had a bad experience with service or with any of the food. I love the greek items on the menu, but everything is good. They have the some of best desserts in Chattanooga - get a cup of their wonderful coffee and enjoy a slice of cake, pie or a pastry. The service is almost always top notch, servers are attentive and have great attitudes. Best part is every time the owner will come around to every table and make sure your experience was good.
We happened upon this place while looking for something different. We were not prepared for what we got. This was hands down, no doubt the best meal I have EVER eaten. The only thing that made it better was realizing it was locally owned and the owner came by our table to ask how everything was. The service was top notch and the food was impeccable. The pies are delectable and the cakes looked amazing. I will go out of my way to eat here again if I m ever close. I am upset knowing we will never get one in Alabama. Thank you for a wonderful experience and a meal I will never forget.
The food is delicious. I love the lamb burger! The service is exceptional. Everyone is friendly and accommodating, even when I know they're short-staffed. There's a covered patio outside that's very nice. Their desserts are phenomenal, and they're all made in-house. They also serve coffee and alcohol.
The pot roast was to die for. It melted in my mouth and was amazing. 10/10 would recommend. The mashed potatos that came with the pot roast was just as amazing. The combination with them both was life changing
We stopped in for lunch today for the first time. A friendly hostess set our party of five immediately. The menu was long with plenty of options. We felt the prices were very reasonable. My husband and I both ordered the seafood platter. It was large and delicious. My daughter said her lasagna was the best she has ever had from a restaurant. The service was wonderful and friendly. We will definitely be back on a regular basis. Dessert looked amazing so we all ordered something Togo. We were too full to enjoy there, but it will be a nice treat this evening.
I could go on and on about the Acropolis! I ate there last weekend with my daughter, and our server, Chris was incredible. He was knowledgeable, polite, and told me everything I could ask about this delightful restaurant! Then the food was to die for! The Lamb Shank fell right off the bone and tasted amazing! Do not come here and leave without dessert!!! Great service, great food, great family!!
This is the best experience I have ever had in a restaurant the host/hostess were super friendly and ready to help sit us and as soon as we sat down our amazing waitress Lexie was friendly and ready to help us with the menu since it was our first time at the restaurant. Lexie helped us with the appetizer, the entree and the amazing desserts. We are so thankful for the amazing service. And also we are vegetarian and there are many amazing options. When we left we were sent off by other waiters and the host/hostess with smiles and friendly goodbyes. The environment was so inviting and just an amazing experience. We will continue to spend our weekends here again and again in the future.
