The emac/atec programs are very undeveloped and the staff is aware of this too. I m not going to name the person but one of my advisors completely misrepresented information, and has caused a tremendous amount of stress in my life. I would definitely think twice about trusting this organization and even enrolling here.
I've been to a lot of colleges. I have an MA already, but I'm going now for a 2nd BA. I have been really impressed with UTD. The fine arts department, where I'm at now, is small, but very good. They have a very strong emphasis on interdisciplinary studies, which I like. I rate some of the lecturers and professors I've had here as the very best I've had.
I have to say this is honestly the worst school I have ever attended far worse than any community college. They are constantly changing the degree plans and don't even offer many of the upper level courses you need to graduate each semester.
Great college experience. It's a little pricey, but it's a very well run university.
Go to Texas Tech if you're STEM
Here it's just a waste of time and money with either cynical or depressed students.
The teachers don't know what the hell they're doing, and the campus just wants money
Tech may be in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do, but at least it's cheaper and the classes are better taught.
