During the first week of January, I tried several times to get the Pensions Section of the Accountant General's Department. A female employee answered my calls on two occasions and promised to return my call that was in regards to the non-issuance of my life certificate through e-mail. I waited on both calls within a five hour period (the whole day), without any success.
The next day I called and an employer, Mathew Rickman, answered the phone. It seemed like a " breath of fresh air" that someone could be so warm and courteous in dealing with the public. He returned my call within 5mins as he promised and my problem was immediately solved.
Thanks to those workers who try to serve pensioners to the best of their ability.
