Access Nursing Services is an establishment that upholds the highest standard of nursing practice. Not only do they make sure that highly qualified staff are employed, there is equally no discrimination in terms of race or whatever in recruitment. I worked for them as LPN for many years, and now that I am a registered nurse, I dream to work for them. But sadly, I do not have hospital working experience to do so. I wish Access Nursing Services the very best, and, recommend their services to any one looking for health care with a touch of perfection and heart of compassion. It is a good place to work.
This Agency is a complete disaster, wouldn t recommend.
Very unprofessional people working for them my Mother has dementia and was supposed getting a nurse from this place twice the woman didn't show wouldn't recommend this agency to anyone
One of the most quality, home care companies in New York that I've ever worked with. Five stars.
Quality-driven company with over 3 decades of experience.
Only able to give a one star Because ZERO isn t available. My wife had A very involved back and spine operation and we needed a night nurse For four nights the nurse that we had for the first two nights called the third day and they didn t let us know until 315 that they had no one available for us for that night I told him that was unacceptable and they sent the nurse that was totally unable to help my wife and actually left my wife in the bathroom alone. My wife started screaming and this particular nurse never heard her she had closed the door and forgot that she was even in the bathroom it almost turned into a total disaster WE fired the nurse on the spot
If you need a private nurse or a companion to stay with a patient at the Milstein Hospital at Columbia Presbyterian you are limited to one company, Access Nursing Services. My guess is that they may very likely have a monopoly on many of the hospitals in the New York metropolitan area. They aren t inexpensive. The cost of having a companion is $600! That seems pretty high but if you can sleep better at night knowing that a competent and empathetic person is sitting with your beloved family member or if you are in need of extra attention, it might be well worth the price. I m guess that that the companion is not getting most of that fee, I am hopeful that they are getting at least $250, but I don t know how that money is divided. We needed companions for 5 nights and for most of the days we had exceptional companions who called to let us know how the patient was doing at night and in the mornings. Part of the contract is to provide that kind of service. Access also has excellent customer service so if you have a problem, they want to help resolve any issues. Overall we were very satisfied.

SINCE THE PANDEMIC ALL THE OLD WORKERS AT THE OFFICE QUITE AND NOW THEY HAVE NEW WORKERS THAT DO NOT KNOW HOW TO RUN THE BUSINESS . THEY NEVER HAVE WORK ,YOU CAN NEVER REACH THE COORDINATOR , THEY ARE ALSO VERY RUDE.
