I lost my job of two years on a Tuesday. Called Accentuate that day and came in the next day to meet with a recruiter. Had two interviews set up within the next couple days. Accepted an offer on Friday, started the next week. Thanks to the wonderful people here, my family did not lose much income and I recently was hired on full-time at the place they found me a position. I will speak nothing but great things about these people as long as I live.

Not sure what happen with their communication but it was beyond poor. I spoke with Laura Turner the first week in December and was excited for job placement.

The first red flag was when she forgot to send me the job descriptions, the second red flag was when I would call it would go straight to voice mail whatever day I called. The third red flag was her never responding to anything I sent.

I've emailed and left voicemails with her and she's literally only responded once to say that she sent the Job my resume, no follow ups, no updates.

This was a really weird experience and frustrating experience considering most staffing agencies will harass you with Jobs. I felt like I probably missed out on some great opportunities with some great companies all because of communication.

I resigned from my last job early Dec 2018. Regardless of my experience, I had a really rough time finding a new full time job. I applied to several positions on job posting boards and had no luck. Eventually, one of the positions I applied to in early-mid January just so happened to be via Accentuate Staffing. Nicole Arble called me soon after I submitted my resume and scheduled an interview with me withing a week. She was very personable, kind, and genuine. We went over what I was looking for while reviewing my resume. By early February I was able to schedule an interview at the company where I currently work. I love my current job and I'm SO glad that I answered her call that day. She and Brooks Jordan check in on me occasionally and I am very pleased with their professionalism.

I have worked with Nicole twice over the past year, with great experiences both times. Nicole helped me get my footing in NC and got me interviews very quickly. My first temporary position didn't last very long because I found full-time permanent work quickly after, but I appreciated her willingness to work with me again once I found myself looking for another job. Nicole introduced me to the company I am now transitioned into full-time, and I LOVE it. I completely trusted her to help me and she didn't disappoint. She has also always been available to connect with me after I was placed.

I am no longer working with Accentuate because I am transitioned to permanent status with my company, but Nicole really helped me get a foot in the door. I've tried other staffing agencies in NC and Accentuate was the best by a landslide. Thanks, Nicole! :)

Great experience! Worked with Chris Brinn, who was professional, friendly, very responsive. Highly recommend!

He connected me with a number of companies doing work exactly in the area I was interested in.

At first, I was very impressed with Accentuate. They were able to find me a position quickly and I started within the two week notice of my previous job, however; after working in the position I was employed in for about 3 months, the employer asked me to switch positions to scheduling in order to accommodate another Accentuate staff member who disliked the scheduling position. I was hesitant, given that it was my goal to transition out of scheduling, but in my haste to please my employer, accepted on the basis that if I did not enjoy the switch, I was able to return to my original hired role.

After another three months, I realized how stressful and mentally hazardous the position was, and why the first candidate wanted to switch. They were unorganized and utilizing outdated scheduling techniques, and did not provide their employees with the resources necessary to assist their clientele or succeed in the role, while insisting they be the first point of contact. Everyday was mentally and emotionally draining. I spoke with my manager, and then sent an email to Accentuate, letting them know how unhappy I was and that I had spoken to the manager about switching back, but that I would continue to do my best in my current position to help the company. I asked them to please be on the lookout for any additional roles in the meantime.

The employer was not true to their promise, and decided to let me go entirely with no warning or additional consideration. They did not provide me with the respect or empathy that they did for the previous candidate, who was very happy in the position that I loved so much. I called Accentuate to let them know and, at that time, they promised that the job market was in good standing and to update my resume and they would be in touch. I did so immediately.

A week went by without any contact. I emailed Accentuate again, during my 2nd week of unemployment. They claimed that they were having a meeting about it the following morning. Another week went by with no contact. Then another. To date, I have received no further contact from Accentuate after a full month + 1 week, and eventually, I had to take matters into my own hands.

Luckily enough, I was able to find suitable and enjoyable employment without Accentuate, however; I am very disappointed in their service as a staffing agency and recommend any individual currently seeking employment venture on their own merit or consider another agency. In the end, I felt like just a paycheck, not a person.
