Terrible at responding to anything. I bought a voucher through Groupon offered by Accent for CPR and First Aid training. After trying every listed phone number for Accent and sending multiple emails to multiple people, I still had absolutely no response. I eventually had to go through Groupon to get a refund.
I have to admit I was little skeptical when I heard that the class was onlyfour weeks long but the teachers really push the information to you. Fast paced learning which in the end was a plus because if you schedule your state exam shortly after completing the course the information is still fresh in your memory; I took my state test today and I am proud to say that thanks Accent I am a certified nurse aide.
If you live in the area, don't budge commuting further away because in the end, you will get the same education. I was well prepared for the state exam and even better; the state examiner came to the school to test us! It's definitely a nice feeling to be comfortable in a testing environment. It is a lot of time commitment so i advise to ask for specific dates in order to free up your schedule.
It was all fun learning in a friendly and professional institute. Everything was standard and well organised. This made us come out with flying colours.
Infact this is the best institution I have ever been. Both the president and the facilitators are very good. I recommend to anyone who want to attain his or her CNAlicences should enroll in accents learning systems. They are the best .
This company is excellent. All materials and information were provided. I felt well prepared for my exam, and the instructors were very helpful and responsive. I would recommend to others.
This "school" is a complete disappointment. The entire program is read out of a book(which was not even supplied until 5 days into my 17 day class), not taught. The instructors, while very sweet, cancelled multiple days due to illnesses and expired RN licenses. Clinical were done under no supervision because the facility you will go to really doesn't care to work with students. You will not be guaranteed to take your state boards test through the school immediately so 17 days turns into a month, even 2 months before you get licensed. You will not be prepared for the test unless you study your own materials and gain your own knowledge apart from their Nurse Aide book. The director Syed only has two concerns; your money, and passing state inspections be removing bad scored tests and forging signatures he has lost.
Don't waste your time or money on this poorly organized scam of a school. The Ann Rose school of nursing in Westminster is comparable in price, it is a 4 week class and they offer on site testing as well.
FYI Syed your response is a perfect reflection of my experience at your school. Unfortunately what you have responded with had nothing to do with my review, and really made no sense. Save your words, I'm not interested in your poorly articulated justifications.
I had high expectations for this program due to the fast paced schedule and pricey cost. I was let down immensely and should have pulled out when the program was pushed back two weeks from the original start date. I pushed through only to find out how unprofessional they ran things and how unqualified my instructor was. Granted she was a nice lady and did her best but she had not been well prepared or updated on CNA procedures. Not to mention that it was rare to see people being reliable and punctual. I've taken fast paced programs before and this one by far is the most unorganized program I've been in. They rescheduled my clinical days several times and at the last minute, when they should have been already settled at the beginning of the program. I completely understand set backs happen but this many set backs shouldn't happen as often as they did in a "professional business". It took me over three months to finally complete the program when it's said to be a 4 week program. I'm not one to write bad reviews but this program has really frustrated me past my understanding and calm nature due to the incompetent actions and behaviors I've witnessed/ experienced. I hope the program succeeds in growing in being more organized and reliable for future students.
