A good place with good food, I wouldn't call the food outstanding by any means but it's a solid restaurant with good service
A good place with good food, I wouldn't call the food outstanding by any means but it's a solid restaurant with good service
My first time here on quite some time. It wasn't too crowded but decided to sit in the bar area assuming it would be faster service. Got to chatting with a friend then suddenly realized we'd been there 15 minutes and still no one approached us. Finally, a waiter brought us water, chips, salsa and menus. It was 10 minutes before waitress took out order (OK, may be she was giving us time to decide what we wanted)... So much for faster service... haha. To her credit, and after she brought us our orders, she came back and checked on us twice. Food was OK... Although Del Taco would have been 74,3% cheaper (and much faster - and that is why it's called "fast food").... [Carry on... Move along... There is nothing more to see].
Best mex comida in Pasadena.....taco Tuesday yum ....everyday yum....servers, hostess always happy & greet you w/smiles!!
Maintain the consistency Margaritas ....oh drinks are good too ....ask for the Chile picoso!!
The atmosphere is fun and the outside is quite festive. However, for us the food is what a restaurant is really about. Margaritas' food is barely spiced, somewhat overcooked, and wholly forgettable. It's not awful, not flavorless or watery. But neither is any part of it worthy of a smile after a bite. Just a nod of "mildly acceptable." If I made it myself, I'd forgive it. For a restaurant, I expect delicious. This is simply not delicious. A pity. I wanted to like them.
As I drove up I realized that I've been here before not that great
Very inauthentic Mexican food. They cut my flautas =/
Warm, Vibrant, Family Friendly Atmosphere! The food is always tasty and so good! You can count on them for a satisfying experience.
The waitress was amazing. The drinks were made wonderfully! The food was bland flavorless.
Has vegetarian/vegan option. Rice and beans are all veg.
The restaurant was clean and fairly bustling when we arrived at a little past one in the afternoon.
Salome was attentive and amazing without being intrusive.
The food was flavorful, and portions were generous.
Overall, I would return to enjoy another wonderful dining experience at Margaritas.
The fajitas and seafood chile rellenos are amazing. As are the Cadillac Margaritas and chips and salsa. Can't go wrong with all of that.
Good food Strawberry Margarita was absolutely delicious shredded beef oven burrito was fantastic definitely coming back
Below average food, above average prices. $8 for a tiny margarita, shrimp that didn't taste fresh, and pozole, that was brought to the table, cold. Was also bland. Don't bother. So many other good Mexican restaurants in the area. One star for food, added a star for service.
We have mostly eaten here at their Sunday Brunch and have found it very tasty. The food is plentiful and diverse and the service is pretty good considering how busy they are.
A neighborhood fav for many years. Some of the best Mexican in the area. Staff is super friendly.
Always bomb, Sunday's more selection on the Buffett and endless mimosas
Family celebrated my brother Donnie's B-day. Staff sang as Donnie donned birthday sombrero good food, flan, service
Real bad customer service! I went out with the family to eat and have a couple of drinks it turned out to be a bad idea to eat here. The food was awful and served cold I went with the reviews big mistake they probably make up accounts to keep their ratings up. I asked to speak to a manager I was told he stepped out that he would be back. Wait till you see the men s room urine everywhere it s terrible looks like the Coliseum when mexico plays
Great!!! All around great from the food to the people!!!
GREAT FOOD! FRIENDLY EMPLOYEES!!! My family's go to place. We feel like they are part of our family. Did I mention great food?!!!!
The food is good, the atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly!
This food was horrible, I got chile rellenos, they had no taste of chili and the beans are bland.... I don't know about this place but it's not authentic Mexican at all. my daughter threw them away cuz I thought maybe she would like them and maybe I made a mistake but she said they were horrible and gross they have a White cheese they're horrible and the reason I didn't take them back and get my money is because I far away
Saturday brunch time.
No buffet on Saturdays.
I ordered their Seafood taco salad and I can honestly say it was very flavorful, made right and delicious taco salad. They put good about of seafood, then the salad + a whole avocado!
I highly recommend this dish.
The restaurant was nice and the service was good.
Definitely enjoyed time with friends at this place.
the food wasn't great and the restroom was gross... toilet paper all over the floor. yuck!
The food very delicious and very well served enough to be satisfied and the vice being very well enough kind and attentive.
Honestly the food here sucks. So many better places ranging from West Covina to Los Angeles. And the service is terribly slow
Delicious comfort food in a casual, relaxing environment. Meals were generous & so tasty, we'll be back soon.
Really good mexican food... service good and prices are fair. Nice location and will come back again definitely
Margaritas is one of our favorite spots, The staff is always on it and very friendly
I have been coming here for years and have always received great service and the food is always very good.
Food was excellent and our waitress Solume was friendly, attentitive and always smiling every time we eat here! We will be back at least a couple times a month for sure!
Great outdoor dining. Great service and very good food. Highly recommend.
The food was pretty good, but parking is tight, and the inside could use a makeover. But it seems to be popular with the locals.
They have rich and yummy chocolate milk!!! And $6.99 specials on Thursday nights.
The food here is amazing, and the staff is very kind and doting. I went here once because another restaurant I was a regular at was closed one night. Haven't been back there since! Margaritas is my new favorite.
Typical Mex resturant, taco tues very crowed not worth the wait. Stale chips tomato juice salsa
Margarita's was awesome when it was on Highway 50, and it's even better now that it has a larger location and an outdoor patio. I'm never in a hurry when I sit in the sunshine with a margarita, but I have to say I definitely didn't notice any long wait times for myself or those around me during my lunch. But I'm the type to have two drinks on a day off in the sunshine, so I probably squat longer than the server likes... but if I did, she never made me feel that way.
The patio is dog friendly, and I had one. The servers told me how cute he was but never tried to pet him, which is always appreciated when they are also handling food.
Very friendly service, good food and delicious fresh Margaritas
It is completely food for Anglos since it does not resemble an authentic Mexican comifa
Good food! But the 5 starts is for the buffet staff specially the lady making the tortillas. Her customer service was amazing, made me feel welcome. Very accommodating of my requests, even though I got there 30 min prior to ending the buffet. She explained the dynamics and didn't rush me our. Food was very good.
Great atmosphere. They offer a Sunday Brunch, which is very recommended. Their Micheladas are also a fav.
Centrally located is a plus but the food well I'll have to go there a few more times before I can pass judgement. That in itself says a lot. Willing to go back and all.
Choose the lunch buffet. Pretty much got what I expected from a Mexican buffet. Some of the food looked like it had been sitting there too long. At least I did not get ill. Next time I am ordering from the menu.
The employees have bad customer service. They didn't smile they don't say hi. Just "what do you want "type of bad attitude. Don't tip them. We were seated eating ceviche & guacamole and drinking a margarita, then the employees and management asked us to to move to another table in the back! I did not get to finish my margarita nor ceviche and guacamole food they had me pay $32 for nothing . I advise everyone to go to El Torito where they have friendly customer service and don't ask you to Stop eating and drinking to move to another table.
Cadillac margaritas, carne asada tacos, frijoles de la olla. Be sure to ask for the spicy salsa if you prefer a spicier roasted pepper salsa.
I come for the lunch buffett. The food is always cooked to perfection. Every dish I've tried I have enjoyed. Most mexican buffetts this is not the case, yet at margaritas everything is good. I leave bloated and miserable after making several plates from the delicious buffett but its well worth it as I then go home and take a long nap
Went for lunch, restaurant was 75% empty, still the waitress seemed to always be busy and disappear. Had to ask for our own menus after walking in and the host just pointed to a table on the side. The waitress was super rushed and almost missed half our order because she kept trying to run away. Food came out quick but was mediocre tasting, appetizer sampler was messy, enchilada average tasting. Decor is nice. Service was bad. She seemed annoyed by us for some unknown reason but very friendly with the table next to us. She kept rushing back to talk to the other servers. Will not be back.
Great drinks and good portion sizes. Salsa is excellent as well!
Their Sunday brunch was really good the free champagne though tasted like gasoline
Would not go again. Very mediocre but pricey for how pedestrian the buffet is.
