Academy Towing Review

Approached me closely without a mask several times, worker went on break when he was supposed to be letting me out of the yard. Took an hour and a half for him to move 2 cars.

Complete joke. I manage a parking company in the city, and while they monopolize certain areas of parking (city towing etc.), they will show up days after they said they would (yeah, days), and lie about calling you back when they said would. Completely out the door, never use them.

Called to get a quote and instantly regretted dialing the phone number, the gentleman who picked up the phone today was rude and condensending, definitely will not be giving them my business or making the mistake of call again.

They towed my car, completely my fault. They were so great and funny!

Rip me off $400. The owner said he would reimburse me and then gave me the run around until I got tired of chasing him.

I called to get my car towed and the man that answered the phone was very polite and helpful on the phone.
The driver that showed up to tow my car was excellent. He showed up in 45 min and was super friendly. I definitely would recommend Academy Towing to my family and friends.

Academy towing is absolute garbage. The employees might be some of the rudest people I ve ever encountered, I was disgusted to see my vehicle in the garbage dump they call a lot . This place should be shut down. Leave it to Halifax to pick the rudest, nastiest towing company possible to have the city contract.

Academy provided top notch service. A driver by the name of Billy was able to gently deliver my busted down car to the shop in just the way he found it. He really made a bad situation better.

This place is terrible. The staff is rude, the lot is in bad shape and they'll park your car in a yard with broken glass and other car parts stuck in the mud, next to cars that are wrecked. My shoes were wrecked just walking to their trailer. Just fowl. It's a travesty the city is using them as a towing company.
