I don t hate this place because this place is so beautiful and captivating

A stunning neoclassical Ionic order building that was founded on 1859 and was completed on 1885. Donors were the Baron Simon and his wife Ifigenia Sinas. Architects of the building were Theophil Hansen and Erst Ziller. It is made of Pentelic marble and in the front there are four statues. On the two tall columns there are the statues of Athena and Apollo and seated there are the statues of Plato and Aristotle. Highly recommended place.

Impressive building from 19 century. It looks amazing under the blue Greek sky :-)

It is an old but very beautifully decorated building.

An absolutely stunning building! Probably one of the most beautiful buildings in Athens. We could not get inside of it, though. It was still worth the trip!
