Abernethy was the best choice my husband and I made! We had a fantastic experience. We got engaged in June 2020 and knew we would have a covid wedding in April 2021. Abernethy made a stressful experience (planning a covid wedding) incredibly easy. We truly felt like they were our partner during the process and were committed to giving us the best possible experience. First off, the staff is incredible. Kassandra was very helpful during our planning sessions. She offered insight, quick responses and detailed answers. She was also very flexible with us given we had our ceremony off site and needed some time to set up our centerpieces before the reception started. We were a bit concerned because Kassandra was not there the day of our wedding but the staff that day were just as friendly, kind and helpful, if not more so! With the ever changing covid -19 restrictions we opted for the most conservative and had only 42 guests at the wedding. However, Abernethy was ready and able to assist with any changes needed as the restrictions changed. The day of our wedding was beautiful (somehow 83 degrees on April 17th) and everyone kept telling us how amazing Abigails Garden was. The food was good and served efficiently (we opted for plated meals which was great!) We were concerned about sound volume for dancing given some of the other reviews we read but had no issues with sound. The speakers we rented and DJ booth are right next to the dance floor so the sound was more than enough for dancing and speeches/etc. Our wedding day was so beautiful and the reception timeline ran smoothly. We were even allowed to bring our dog out for a special dance with the guests! We would highly recommend Abernethy to other couples especially during these tumultuous covid times. The strain of covid could not have been easy on Abernethy but you would never know it from their friendly, kind, loving and supportive demeanor. They were truly exceptional.

One of my favorite places to DJ weddings. The staff is always easy to work with and eager to help, beautiful venue, great location. Highly recommended.

We shot a summer wedding at Abernathy Center and absolutely loved working there! Such an lovely venue for a summer garden wedding! We loved how spacious it was and how everything is surrounded by beautiful greenery and trees! This venue is so gorgeous and green!

My school held our annual banquet here and I was very impressed with the venue! The catering was alright but other than that things seemed great. They set up a dance floor for us that wasn t too big but still made for great dancing.

My husband and I got married in Abigail s Gardens on 7/3/19 and it was magical. Beautiful doesn t even come close to describing the venue. The willow tree is absolutely gorgeous and an amazing backdrop for photos. We were lucky enough that there were no other weddings on that day (hooray for weekday weddings!) so we were able to take photos at the church and in the Veiled Gardens as well; all stunning locations. The food was delicious. We had quite a few guests do a no show so we had tons of leftover food. They packed it up and had it waiting in the bridal suite for us. The event staff was great, friendly and helpful. Our bartender, Shannon was the best and made the best lemon drop I have ever had. Kassandra, our event specialist was great as well and very easy to work with. It was an amazing experience overall and I highly recommend Abernethy Center.

The staff here are absurdly rude. I was helping set up for a friend s day and I was shocked at how the wedding coordinator shouted at me and made egregious accusations, because she herself was anxious and unstable. I was treated poorly for no reason, and it was so upsetting that I left my good friend s wedding early. A huge regret that I blame solely on the treatment from the staff. They will ruin your special day.

Overall great venue. Clean, classy, and well designed for a wedding reception. Service was excellent!

Beautiful venue. The staff is helpful for planning. The catering staff is super friendly. Our wedding day went perfect. Would 100% recommend this to anyone getting married.

I cannot say enough how great it was to have my wedding here! The staff and event coordinators were amazing and made my special day beautiful. Thank you all for taking care of me and my husband!!
