Love A&W. Love the fact that they make the root beer in the store daily. this particular store I went to was actually the very first a&w from what I hear. It has been a while since I've been to A&W so I decided to try it and I'm glad I did in fact I've been there a couple more times since. Great service.

Never disappoints with the classics... Grandkids love to ring the bell when leaving (means GREAT time)!

The papa burger is a very good burger. The special on Tuesdays are great, I like to save money. The root beer goes great with the burger. The fries are not bad. I would like them to be cooked a little longer. I would say that this is one of the best burger places in Lodi. It is worth the wait.

They used to have the best fries ever, but the last few times there the food was not so good. I had 4 couples AFTER me who all got served before me too..

Great food but horrible customer service. The workers are not friendly and they always look mad. Today I was embarassed by the way I was treated and I'll never go back.

Car service was super slow with no one ahead of us, and inside was slow so that wasn't an issue. I ordered a gallon of root beer. I got home and it was only 75% full. Overpaid for service and product.

Food is always fresh. Servace is top notch. The owner us there and talks with people.

The staff were very knowledgeable regarding the history of this iconic location, and there was some amazing memorabilia in the dining room. The food was tasty and hot. Staff were friendly, and lots of parking.

Food was very good! The kids loved it too! Nice customer service. And the best rootbeer ever! We will definitely be coming back.

I loved the bacon cheese burger I had today. Where else can you eat a burger that really looks like the advertisement photo; dill pickles, tomatoes, onions, it was wonderful!!! The root beer was ice cold and taste great. Great fries too.

A & W in Lodi is the original A & W. Great burgers & other menu items. Freezes are my favorite. We regularly get root beer in our half gal container...nothing like drinking fresh root beer at home!

We had the papa burgers and chicken sandwiches and it was so yummy. Even after driving all the way across town to eat it at home it was still fresh. Thanks guys great job

Can you really beat a cold A and W footwear in a frosty mug? I don't think so!!

Haven't been to an A&W for over 30 years. They closed them down where we live when I was a young kid, and I have never seen another one in Washington State nor Northern Oregon State since. (I admit I haven't actively searched for one, but now I will.) We found this one while driving by during our road trip, and knew we had to stop. The food was delicious. So glad I was able to share this experience & some of my childhood memories with my children, of eating cheeseburgers & drinking root beer floats at A&W with my parents as our special treat growing up.

Fries were a bit bland, but everything else was great!

The Root Beer is made on site and it's delicious theirburgers are as good! It's a place we go to when we want a topnotch Rootbeer Float. The employees, however are not as bubbly as their Root beer but the burgers and drink are worth the trip.

From what I've been told this is the actual first location. The food is always fresh for being a chain never had a complaint.

Great burgers. Tuesday's 2 for 1 Big Papa Burger Combo is a fantastic deal. One of the girls there doesnt seem very friendly to me. Ive seen her friendly towards others, so perhaps it's because Im a minority. Ive tried to be friendly and smiling towards her, but still receive a cold attitude. Otherwise, it's a good atmosphere.

I just love this A & W! NOSTALGIC & you literally feel like you have stepped back in time. Clean and original retro, not redone to look retro. The owner is clearly dedicated to maintaining a tight ship and it shows. BRAVO!

I personally really like A&W. Their root beer is in my opinion, the best. Their food is really good, family atmosphere, friendly staff, car shows they have on Thursday's in the summer. Just all around awesome
