Just a fantastic space for events, and the variety of work they do for all manner of creative efforts in Baltimore is amazing.

Amazing venue that showcases local artists and bands. Great staff, bar and shows here.
Great Old Time Music festival! A really good re-use of the old movie theater.
What a gorgeous venue for a wedding! It was so uniquely Baltimore and fit the couple so well. The art made the space even more lovely.
Great shows, been to 3 now and have ha
d a blast every time. They have drinks and popcorn too, and a great art exhibit!!! Go check them out!!
Creative Alliance is a wonderful community art space
I had a religion meeting and had snacks and there is a art studio there
I have attended a few events here and have always had a great time. Love the look and feel of the place. Very eclectic.
Very nice space to hear music or see some local artwork.
They provide immersion into a wide variety of customs, music, art, lifestyles, and heritage. It's a non-stop celebration of life, and its many tessellations.
Pretty cool place. Went to a local shopping event here that had alot of venders.
Awesome venue for a variety of local and specialty shows!
Great venue. They do a lot for the community of Baltimore and make Highlandtown and Canton quite vibrant.
The best costume parties! Amazing music, art, dancing! Always have incredible events where all are welcome and celebrated!
Unique community arts center with performance spaces, gallery spaces, arts and culture classes, community festivals, and more. Check out the restaurant and bar located off the front lobby entrance.
Gallery space is small but I love the theatre and cultural activities. I used to frequent the spot when it was a movie theater, glad to see it get renewed life and purpose. It's the gem of Eastern Ave.

The most excellent place in Baltimore where I can go to do my art there and grow.
Great sound system, really good selection of performances, cool art advocates and passionate tribe keeping it all moving forward!
Wonderful place to visit. Art and creativity is everwhere. Must visit you will surely love this.
A stalwart in the community for the arts and a space to share
Thank you to all the advocates who are part of this great clan! You all make it the special place it is!
Am interesting display of art on both floors by Neil Feather and Amanda Rothschild. The space is nice and cool and a great place to chill while you wait around for other events. My only issue is that it isn't clear if you can touch some of the art. I went back to the initial sign which says you can but it would be nice to have sign next to the art itself
An exciting place to attend events such as music shows of all types. It has an art gallery and a bar.
This is a wonderful place for arts and music. I've seen amazing concerts here-marc robot, troker, horse Lords, and more to come!
Excellent venue. Nothing fancy, but a great preservation/restoration of an earlier time period. The sound in the room was very good, no doubt in at least partial thanks to the heavy curtains lining the stage. Simple beer menu, several rows of theater seating, floor space that held numerous tables.
Well-managed, clean, and a great asset to Highlandtown, with friendly staff and a stellar location.
A great place for contemporary art, all sorts of performances in an informal setting, and community events.
Artistic, casual, wonderful variety of multicultural events. A real jewel of Baltimore
We have just completed our first year as members...and renewed!!! They offer great and varied programming, while serving the broader community with arts education and access to the arts. We enjoyed their annual Big Show (safely curated during COVID) featuring local artists and discovered an artist (Kelly Walker/ArtStar Paintworks) who lives a few blocks from us in her studio/warehouse/home. We now own a couple pieces of her work.
A space for Activist and Artist... to showcase their work.
Tavares and I had a great time at the Kerplunk drop in art activity today.
Wonderful community resource for visual and performance arts
Great community arts organization. Diverse programming
I was introduced to the Creative Alliance 10 years ago by Michelle Ann Farrell and I have continued to go there ever since for different functions. All kinds of new filmmakers continue to show their filmmaking talent and it is fun to see the differences come out in their films
This is a fun all purpose art space in a cool little neighborhood. The theatre is cozy, but comfortable. I particularly enjoy the Astropop shows that come by a couple times a year. There is also a large gallery space featuring local artists and an education center upstairs.
Great place to entertain yourself with artist from all over the world for a good price!
Fabulous venue for local artists as well as national musicians. GREAT evening of zydeco music and dancing to Nathan and the Cha Chas.
Always has great shows and art. Wonderful spot in the city for culture.
Wonderful community space. Once a grand theater, it continues to serve the arts in Baltimore. Keep the arts thriving, and help preserve these grand theaters.
I've been here for several different artist events. They are always friendly and professional. They Raw artist show is always nice ,and kids activities they have in the summer. My boyfriend recently had a comedy show here and the set up included everything we needed .Some of the nice things is seeing your name on the marquee out front and the jumbo screen inside you can use.
Great venue! Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating!
Super community resource with a fantastic variety of performing artists booked weekly. Don't miss Merry Mart for great local art and crafty gifts just before the holidays. Resident artists' apartments with multiple gallery spaces. Programs for kids.
Gorgeous space. I love the art installations and the events they have here. I attend some monthly meetings here and really appreciate how courteous the staff are; super helpful!
Great place for art to thrive in Baltimore. They are doing great things
Parking is horrible nearby, but other than that, a great time!
Really interesting pieces definitely a cool place to check out, and they have great events throughout the year
The Baltimore Creative Alliance boasts a colorful assortment of activities that range from traditional art shows all the way to a mass drinking game centered around the movie Die Hard. This is a place that many might miss because it is not directly in Fells Point or Canton, but is worth a stop. Check out their calendar and visit.
Great space for art and culture in Baltimore. The only complaint is that the crowd here tends to predominantly white in a city that is predominantly black. While this is true for a lot of spaces in Baltimore you would expect an establishment such as this to do more to counter that.
Djangofest 2020 hugely fun, amazing musicians at the top of their game... and still emerging
Love this place. Every event they do is awesome and I love supportung them and their mission.
Fantastic intimate concert space with great acoustics, plus an art gallery. Great local brews on tap in the listening area. Concerts are general admission and consistently start on time. Parking can be tough in this area of town.
One of the best theatres I ve been to (and I ve been to over a hundred). Great outreach, great programming, plenty of space both inside and outside of the main performance area.
Good music, and a great show that was complimented by an intimate venue. The theater was nice, staff was very friendly and helpful. In spite of plenty of free parking nearby, purchasing reserved parking across the street from the theater prior to the show is highly recommend. The only down side is the endless sea of traffic lights getting to and from the theater regardless of direction of travel.
This was my family's first time at Creative Alliance and we loved it. The area is nice and the venue was awesome. We went to see Chelsea Green and The Green Project and what an experience it was. If you haven't had the pleasure to see The Green Project please treat yourself! She is #BlackGirlMagic personified! She is extremely personable & she AND her band are ridiculously talented! I mean WOW! You can tell how much they all enjoy music and playing together. Simply one of a kind! Creative Alliance provided an intimate venue space that was just perfect for the show. And you even get to view their 2 galleries during intermission where they were displaying artwork from teens in Baltimore. An extra special kudos to the staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. And the restrooms were clean. My Husband also said his cocktail and freshly popped popcorn was excellent too. Definitely give this venue a try, they have a really cool upcoming calendar. We will definitely continue to support and tell our friends about it!
Top of the top, well organized, nice peoples, friendly, experts, lovely
Loving this place always a new and exciting show. Love the drinks
Awesome venue to have a grand celebration. Very reasonable contract fees. The staff are superbly sensitive to your details abd requests. Best bartender. Sound system pumps... is perfect. Par excellence is what you get. You will not be disappointed.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the theater and the whole set up, it was an interesting performance and my husband and I would definitely return to this venue.
Great venue! Saw Rhea Butcher's comedy set here. The set up was perfect, everyone could see and get to the bar without making a scene. The staff and crowd we're all very welcoming and the overall vibe was very fun and accepting. I would absolutely come back!
If you want to sample Baltimore's unique local cultural scene, this is the place to start. Check its web pages for events in its theatre, gallery, etc. I attended its fourth annual CrankieFest last night and really enjoyed it. I think all the CrankieFest performances were sold out this year. The locals know about it. I bought my tickets online a week before and I was almost too late. The show included excellent music and close to two hours of strange and wonderful crannies.
Saw a musical performance there. Fun times and it supported local community to boot.
This is what Baltimore is all about! Cool, community-driven arts venue that features live music, performances, art galleries, and special events. If you're looking for a fun night out, you can't go wrong at the Creative Alliance. Great family activities too.
I've had the pleasure to attend many shows, and left having enjoyed each one of them. The staff was very friendly, and the seating was very comfortable.
This is a great venue. I look forward to attending more shows there.
Great music venue, small and intimate space with good sound. Also a space that gives visual artists a place to work and develop with 1 to 3 year residencies. Art exhibits here are riveting. Parking available if you sign up early for an event. Make sure you buy a space when you purchase tickets.
