I contracted A&K Painting to paint one of our buildings we manage, and it was a great experience. The proposal they prepared was very detailed concerning the work they would accomplish and this was so helpful when sharing with your client. Once they started they sent a daily update email with pictures, and what has been accomplished that day. They worked close with the tenants in the building to make sure they were not causing a problem with production. I strive to provide quality for our clients and I found A&K provided that kind of service.

It's a pleasure working with Teresa and Jennifer. They submit billings on time and make sure to include all the paperwork required for a smooth approval process. If I ever request anything more they are happy to assist and get it to me right away. Their can do attitude always makes working with them a breeze!

We were staying at the Fairfield Inn in Nashville Tennessee. AK is painting the hotel and had parts of the parking lot roped off so their lifts weren t blocked. We drove around the roped off parking spots and went around the building to park in another lot in front of the hotel. As we were walking into the hotel one of the crew started yelling at us not to drive around the building. He then proceeds to put a cone down where we had just been. If the cone would have been there we wouldn t have gone through but nothing was marking the area. We notified the hotel manager, very unprofessional for a commercial crew. When we came back out for the evening he proceeded to stare us down as we walked to our vehicle. Again very unprofessional.

We have worked together on many difficult projects over the past 5+ years and they have always exceeded expectations. It doesn't matter if the project has a $1,000 worth of painting scope or $350,000 they will give the same effort and approach in order to make it a successful project for all parties involved.
I work for an industrial/processing facility in the Charlotte Metro Area. We have highly specialized and sensitive equipment, carrying out proprietary and confidential processes on critical time schedules and deadlines. In short, we cannot afford to lose even an hour of anticipated production time. Our facility is highly visible with our customers, who regularly conduct unannounced visits to inspect conformance and quality. Everything must be kept in "show-ready" condition at all times, which, needless to say, isn't an easy task.
We used to use another painting contractor who did a decent job, but our ever-changing & demanding logistical requirements posed problems with their scheduling and adherence to compliance policies. Three years ago, after a period of repeat sub-par performance and lost production due to work taking longer than anticipated, we decided to try another contractor and WOW - what a difference!

They are extremely detailed and prepare for the upcoming work accordingly. They're the first contractor I've worked with that has taken the time to understand our logistical constraints and develop their plan around them. It's such a pleasure to work with them that we no longer cringe at the thought of having to repaint our facility or re-burnish our polished concrete floors - we actually look forward to it. It's almost like an Industrial Extreme Make-Over! The daily progress reports fantastic too, tracking exactly what got completed each day with a summary of what's upcoming.
