Worse visit ever had to wait 5 minutes to just get a seat. Then the food sucked and was out of everything. Everyone pushing and shoving.

Eh, not very good. Not very clean, not very flavorful, not really any better than fast food, rather pricey, employees don't really seem to care. I won't be going back.

FIRST THING ABOUT A BUFFET IS DON'T LET THE CHILDREN GET THERE OWN FOOD THEY ARE TALKING OVER THE FOOD AND THEY TOUCH THINGS. HORRIBLE, NOT A CLEAN PLACE TO EAT AND IS VERY CROWDED. SO IF YOU LIKE A PLACE WHERE KIDS SPIT IN THE FOOD AND THE TABLES ARE NASTY AND YOU HAVE TO PRACTICALLY SIT ON YOUR NEIGHBORS LAP AND WAIT FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME FOR FOOD THAT IS POOR QUALITY. THE GOLDEN CORAL IS FOR YOU.

The golden corral in Erie, PA is awesome, so I thought I would try the one in Rochester. We went during the grand opening and were very disappointed. We thought it was because of the opening. We went back two more time to give them the benefit of the doubt. Forget it, this food is tasteless and we won't go back.

Waitress not very friendly but food is always awesome and management is eager to please.

The food there is pretty good. But, one thing I'll say is that getting people seated would go faster if there wasn't on person doing it because alot of people go on holidays.

Service was bad. Chocolate fountain was not working properly and the food was not fully stocked

Wasn't a bad experience until we left. We put $1.00 in a claw machine for my 2 year old, of course took the money and didn't work. Told the lady at the register, she was absolutely miserable. She said call the company there's nothing I can do. I explained to her that they should at least put an out of order sign on it. Well she then said it's not our machine, not our responsibility. I asked for a manager, she then walked away and started to talk rudely about us to our waitress as we listened. Drove an hour and a half away to come here. I just wonder why people work with others, if they are miserable? Not impressed, I'm quite upset about it actually.
May have taken our money, but we won't be back.

Even during a medical emergency the staff remained courteous and helpful. And comped one meal because we had to wait for medical personnel to clear out.

Golden coral is OK. I don't find it worth the money or wait. Yes some food Is good.. but nothing amazing.

Food was acceptable, but the atmosphere was very noisy and many children were being overly unruly and ruined our family get together after my wife and I traveled from Florida to the area.

Every plate had massive amounts of those cut in stains. When a plate, cutting board, should be thrown out. I don't care how hot the plate is, if it looks dirty. Staff was friendly. Lunch time visit.

Chefs are nice waitress was kinda rude about getting refills should pay more attention to soups and salad bars.

It was quite busy, but the staff was helpful and they were always ready to answer questions. The food was good, and allergy labels well placed. Gluten-free options were limited.

Just attended vets nt w my 87 yr old uncle , veteran of the army. He was very appreciative & was floored w the amount of healthy choices available. ...our whole family thanks all of the veteran volunteers & restaurant staff...kudos!

Food was Luke warm, and server was hard to get ahold of for drinks. They also were out of a lot of dishes, but seemed to be very short staffed.

It could be a lot cleaner and workers could do there job better esp at keeping place clean and esp with the food

Loved it prim rib wasnt what i expected but the butterfly shrimp was great and the grilled steak was to die for

Although usually my visit to golden corral is very pleasing my last visit was not because of the quality of many of the foods that were out.

Great very nice. But they need too stop letting the kids mess over the food. Very unsanitary

HORRIBLE BREAKFAST, SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT. We were there an hour and the only thing they refilled was fried chicken. What a joke. Management had nothing to say, not even an apology. They offered me one free meal refund out of 2 adults and 1 kid. I didnt care about the money. I cared about there being NO food to eat. 90 percent of trays this morning were empty. The dishes were mostly all dirty from the start. I said that to management and I said I will turn them in to the nys health department and he told me "I'm going to turn you into the them for complaining about it" What a joke FEB 15TH 2020. New York is not the state for golden corral. Down south much better.

Tables and floor were not kept clean in a timely manner. Some food was fresh(sirloin steak) some couldn't cut with a steak knife(ribs). I use a rollator walker to get around and had asked one of the workers where to get silverware and she staref at me and pulled a spoon out by the dessert table. I said no I need a fork. She pointed in the direction of the cash registers. I started walking that way and then she came by me and said I will get it for you.

Food is awesome! Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good meal at a reasonable price !!!

Great food. Plenty of room. No fault of her own, but the waitress was overwhelmed. There was a pretty big section that she was covering by herself. Maybe GC needs to staff a few more during dinner?

This is the 2nd Golden Corral that I have ever been to and I can honestly say I was disappointed. The man at the register seemed like he did not want to be there. My family and I went around 12pm and the food seemed old, which I thought odd being it was lunch time. The best part of the experience was the waitress Andrea. She went above and beyond to accommodate to us. She took plates away quickly and refilled drinks.

Needs better seating.... Kids running all around without parents paying attention...yeaaa

While in line to pay for meal, there was a Veteran paying for his meal and asked for a Veteran discount. Unfortunately Golden Corral does not offer any discounts to military or first responders but does offer a whopping 90 cent discount for Seniors over 60. I think Golden Corral should be shamed for not offering a discount to these groups!

Food has definitely gotten better! Try their breakfast it is too die for with a variety on the menu!

It was the worst experience I had at a restaurant in a long time they ran out of mashed potatoes and taco meat and most of all fried chicken never again will I eat there.

Jesus....everyone wants everything in one spot for cheap. They provide this service good...not great but good. I think its the overwhelming inner city and trash folk eating there that complains. You pay 12-14$ for whatever you want. Its the clientel in rochrster that ruins it. NOT the manager nor chain. Just pick and choose your days. The first and third of a month are not good options. Obvious reasons! Smh

The entire place was a mess. The food was standard buffet food and frequently the containers looked like they'd been there a while. Nothing remarkable about the food. The most disturbing was the mess everywhere, spills everywhere at the food bar, the floor, carpets, tables... even the bathroom was a stinky dirty mess.

This place is good for a family gathering...However more healthy choices needed!! I know they have a nice salad spread but ...Does everything have to be fried?? Or the majority?? Help us stay fat?? Lol ... Anyways just sayin*

A little overrated food wise, but the workers are very pleasant.
