A very nice theater still with that new feeling. Great show and the usher was very helpful by allowing me to sit where I'd be comfortable. The show "The Hello Girls" was absolutely first rate and ready for Broadway. Great singing, great staging, great musicality and choreorgraphy. I'd go again in an instant. Oh, there are at least two theaters in the site, maybe three.

Wonderful intimate space and terrific production of Cross That River. The staff were helpful. The location was easy to get to. The seats were very comfortable. You could easily view the production from every seat in the theater. Loved it! And the ticket prices were very reasonable as well. Highly recommended. And if Cross That River is still playing, go see it!

I saw Bernie and Mikey's Trip to the Moon on Saturday, December 1.That is the best play I have seen this year. The story and the delivery - without mike system, which I prefer - were excellent. And Benjamin Rosloff's role, although shorter, was beautiful, His delivery was touching.

Just attended my eleventh play in two seasons of vastly different performances in these tiny theaters and simply floored by the variety of professional actors, innovations, cleverness, staging, direction discovered in every single play presented here. Outstanding, so much more satisfying that any big Broadway production, this is theater at its best, and no matter where you sit it's the "best seat in the house" as theaters are small and well cantilevered for perfect stage viewing.

This theater is nicely designed- a compact vertical stack of four performance spaces with bright open look. Very comfortable; the staff is friendly and helpful. The plays are worthy of being staged with many different genres represented.

Multiple theaters in 1 building with a varied roster of shows. Brits Off Broadway is an excellent annual event; other times I have seen truly awful shows rented by external companies. So read the descriptions! The venue itself, though, is very pleasant and well maintained. Bsr on premises, too.

All the theaters here are great places. All have good seating. From an intimate setting to a large hall, all the seats are good. The theaters are often rented out by various groups, so make sure you do a little research before you go. It is great Off Broadway site.

Okay, I loved this place not because the theaters are great. They're a bit low budget, with small spaces circuitously reached, and the lobby is literally a postage stamp. (I use "literally" wrong, okay?) But the spirit of this place is infectious. The shows are invariably small and usually fun, and the performers -- most of whom seem very happy to have finally reached New York -- often meet up with the audience in the bar afterwards. This is a very un-New York theater I'm happy to visit whenever I can.

It is a well run non-profit facility with three theaters showing usually high quality productions. It is an excellent place to see plays with comfortable seats and good sight lines from any seat. They host the Brits Off Broadway festival each year which brings good new British theater to New York. Don t arrive too early for the performances as they only allow you to go to the theater about 15 minutes before the performances [unless you want to make use of their full bar which is up on the mezzanine]. On Thursday evenings the bar has live music.

I saw The Hello Girls in theater A, I was surprised and thrilled by how small the theater was. I really felt like the action was taking place all around me. The facilities were great and while I didn't get anything at the bar, the selection seemed to be quite surprisingly good. I was really impressed by my experience here overall.

We enjoyed a wonderful play called EDUCATION at the theater. It dealt with freedom of expression and art, religious intolerance, and upholding schools behavior codes. The actors were cast perfectly for their roles. They were believable and convincing.
It is not to be missed!

This theater is unusual among off-off Broadway houses in that it has a consistent curatorial vision. The productions here are consistently well thought out, whether they're original commissions or British imports. I would be lying if I said I've never seen something here that I didn't enjoy, but I will say that when they miss, they usually miss while taking a big swing at themes and values that really mean something.

Okay

Saw "The Undertaking" here, which was a great show. Theater B was a fantastic small theater, each row well-elevated so even not as tall people (like my wife) can see well. The sound, the lighting and the visuals were top notch - this performance involved a lot of film and animation projections as well as background music and pre-recorded interviews. The stage was designed very well, the vertical, hanging white strips that served as backdrop reflected the projected images well, but were inobtrusive when there were scenes without visuals. It was quite nice to see a perfprmance in such an intimate space. The ushers were friendly and helpful. They could maybe use a little more space and seating near the bar where you must wait before the theater is ready, but, even so, it did not feel too crowded there. The tickets were reasonably priced. It was a great experience, and I can't wait to go back to this theater to see another interesting show.

This place has performances that match broadway but at half the price and a fourth of the theater size, so you are right near the performers. My boyfriend and I saw Made in China, and it was the BEST show EVER. It was very funny. It was very much "worth my money" because they draw attention to human rights issues using humor. I was worried it might have racist humor about china but it was perfectly politically correct while also remaining incredibly funny.

Quality of the shows is consistently good. Acting is excellent and facility is comfortable, price is reasonable compared to other theaters. Location is close to Grand Central, Subway, buses. We have never been disappointed going here.

We've seen a number of singular and creative plays and performances here. Einstein's Dreams took one of my all time favorite books and blew it up into a wonderful, delightful and completely surprising musical play.
